I never used to believe that Ouija boards were evil, That was until a friend of mine who didn't believe in anything and was as sceptic as they come decided to play a Ouija board on a camping trip one night, The next morning one of the girls broke her leg in 3 places and had to be air lifted to the nearest hospital, and My friend said as he was washing his face in the bathroom facility's he looked up at the mirror and the room suddenly turned pitch black, in the mirror staring at him was what can only be described as a grinning demon with glowing red eyes and flames for hair, Hes never been camping since (that was 40 years ago) and tells others never to play with Ouija boards for "fun" to this day

I don't know, I'd like to know what was actually going on with that. The leg incident and power surge would definitely amp up fight or flight and increase what you perceive as danger. Ouiji boards are known to be a scam. There's even a named phenomenon they rely on; I do forget what it it's called, but essentially when a group of people put their hands on the moving thing, their collective expectations of what's supposed to happen cause them to move it themselves without truly realizing it. We did have a couple of freakish things happen but believed it was coincidence. Ten years later, as a trained scientist, I attended a lecture where a woman talked about the sinister nature of the boards, the dangers and who was in control. I left with the superior knowledge that she was a religious crackpot. I told my husband about it and we had a good laugh. On our next visit to my mother’s house, I was surprised to see the Ouiji board in the den. I hadn’t seen it in years. I asked my husband if he was up for a laugh- we would ask the board, as the lecturer had instructed, who was in charge. Being a scientist, I told him we would remove the possibility of ideomoter between us and ask the question silently while my mother and sister were with the board. We did not tell them the silent question, just that we wanted them to move the device across the board for us. I get chills to this day thinking about it. We were standing about 5’ from where they were sitting at the board. My husband and I nodded to each other to think of the question, “Who controls this board,” suppressing giggles. The thing began to move, and it wasn’t slow about it. S. A. T. A….. I said STOP! Both my husband, who is one of the biggest skeptics on the planet, and I could feel the evil in the room. We wrapped the board up in its box with duck tape and put it in the trash. The lecturer said that they will not burn. I wasn’t willing to try. I stopped thinking that we know what is real and what isn’t, that everything is based on provable science. There is more to this universe than we know or are capable of understanding. It took less than 2 minutes to have it proved to me.

Parker Brothers still makes them and I think Hasbro may still make them. I am not sure on Hasbro. However, Toys R Us went out of business because of the horrible Covid-19 drain on all businesses. There are still business closing from that pandemic. Others are still struggling. Ouija is just a board game. It is mass produced at an enormous printing press, the same one that prints out Monopoly, and Chance. It is made with the same paper and the same cardboard. There is nothing supernatural about a cardboard toy. Then again, there is nothing supernatural at all. There are no ghosts, wraiths, Jersey Devils, Ogopogos, grassmen, skunk apes, Sasquatches, Big Foots, leprechauns, nor noble politicians. They are fictitious.

It had absolutely nothing to do with a board game for Toys-R-Us. The silly toy is printed on the same high speed printing press Monopoly and Candy Lane are printed. It uses the same cardboard, and uses the same inks. There is nothing supernatural about it. People scare themselves and see Satan in everything, even though, it is not even supposed to conjure Satan. The game clearly says it is your subconscious. Satan haz other things to do besides play board games, like preparing to have his butt kicked in Armageddon.

I put on a show with a Ouija board. I was pressured to mess with one by a few other high school kids. I thought they were boring. Well, I made it exciting. I pretended to be possessed and it was hilarious. The poor saps actually believed I was conjuring spirits with a cardboard and paper toy that Parker Brothers mass produced. The following day, nobody would talk to me at all. I pretended nothing took place the prior night. The ridiculous fear got so bad that people that were not even there, that night stopped talking to me because of some irrational fear. I did not care. It was just high school. I was not going to see any of those people ever again in four years. Thus, I remained a stranger for the four years in high school with the occasional person whispering and pointing at me, probably because of fear. It is ridiculous that they believed I was possessed by a mass produced cardboard toy that is produced on the same press as Monopoly.

I played with one. I put on a show for those there. They were terrified. It was ridiculous. It is just a piece of cardboard with a printed paper on it. Parker Brothers produces the toy. It is not possible for me to be afraid of them. By the way, Monopoly is printed on the exact same printing press and cardboard. Should anybody be afraid of Monopoly?

I live in the most remote place anybody could live and also live at night. I work nights, four nights a week and have three nights off a week. I go for walks at night in cemeteries, with, and without moonlight, go deep into the woods, and have never seen anything. I even know of an abandoned home that has been empty for over 20 years. The man died in the house and was there for over a year. I went into the abandoned house and found an old percussion pistol. I restored the old pistol to functional and beautiful. I have even made black powder and percussion caps for it and fired it. there has been absolutely nothing supernatural in my life.

@@johnrambo1227 I love making the lead balls just as much as shooting. It is very entertaining. I took apart old car batteries to make the balls. Once, I took apart a shotgun bird shot shell and loaded the pistol with the bird shot. It was quite the mess, but fun.
