Love this, I went to Bali by myself a week ago. Best life choice I have ever made, you really feel like you can accomplish any challenges in life (Corny but true). If you wait for other people you will always be waiting to do what you really want!

Tori Leira come on, you're not afraid of being murdered when you leave your house alone. Other countries are not full of murderers either. Plus, if someone has a gun he can murder you whether you're alone or not.

actually did a solo trip to Seattle and Vancouver a couple weeks ago and i'm from the Netherlands 🙋🏻 honestly everybody should travel by theirselves at least once, being totally alone can actually be really great and empowering 💪🏼

I LOVE travelling alone! It's just perfect, you don't waste time on what someone else wants to do, you only do whatever you want and make the most of the time you have in a place.

As an only child, your talk really spoke to me. I am used to doing things by myself, but sometimes I do second guess myself and just want to take the easy way out and chill in my room all day and do nothing. Every time I do push myself out of my comfort zone I am proud of myself which is a really awesome feeling :) Loved this video and your message!

Traveling alone is one of my favorite things to do. I recently went to Mt. Rushmore and Badlands National Park solo, and it was amazing. I highly recommend doing things by yourself, it truly is a different experience.

You'll be good! I go to school in New Jersey and live in Virginia and I drive 8-9 hours on my own on holidays! You get used to it! :)

I love your message in this! I started college 2 years ago and have noticed that I spend less time with friends than I did in high school and more time with myself and I love the feeling of taking on challenges by myself

my university offers a study abroad program and i'm going to be going to the uk in september and will be travelling europe alone! woooooo

I completely agree with this!! I went to study in China alone in 2013 and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. I was able to explore the world and get to know myself in ways I couldn't before. i felt so accomplished after. I was even in a relationship when I went but I still decided to go and grow as a person, and my bf (now husband) supported me. Now I tell everyone if they have a chance to travel or live abroad to DO IT!

I agree with this so much! It's like my mantra. You will never grow and change and evolve as a person if you do not put yourself outside of your comfort zone and do things you've never done before. And solo travel is awesome! I was terrified at first but my favourite part now is that it's a bit like starting fresh every time you leave. No one you meet knows you, they don't know you're past, what you've done or who you are - so you can just be the person you want to be, I'm always trying to be my best version of myself and it's so great to practice this when you travel alone ☺️ Much love from the UK Monica! ❤️❤️ Keep killing it xxx

The Pan Pacific is the most beautiful hotel in Van honestly! !

I can't even begin to explain how much I relate to this right now. I've always been close to home -- I even commute to college. However this summer I was given the opportunity to go across the country to be an intern. I was terrified of not knowing anyone and traveling across the country for the first time ever, and alone. But I knew it was something I had to do -- and I did it. And now I'm having the absolute time of my life in Seattle this summer and I'm so happy that I went on this journey alone; it has been extremely fulfilling. All of my fears about this experience haven't been a problem. I've been able to meet and make friends with so many new people and learn so much. If anyone reading this is worried about going out and doing something on their own, don't! The feeling of accomplishing something you fear, alone, will give you the most fulfilling feeling and confidence you'll ever experience

I definitely agree about traveling alone, and being comfortable being by yourself. I just moved from Stockholm to Barcelona all by myself one month ago, and it has been the best decision of my life! I have learned so much and just started appreciating everything a lot more.

This is EXACTLY what I needed. I am 3000 miles from home, working in a hotel for two months and I feel lonely from time to time. I watched this video when your first uploaded it a year ago, I was going through a horribly anxious time in my life and this video has changed so much. Love travelling by myself! I moved to Vancouver BC in 2015 and knew no one at all. I love just exploring and being able to experience it and process it without having to communicate. In saying that I also love to travel with friends and family - showing them my favourite spots and discovering new places together that will always remind you of them and that time
