Why You NEED to Play Another Crab's Treasure

Ойын-сауық

I've never been super into the Dark Souls series, but Another Crab's Treasure showed me how great the Souls-like genre is. Along with this, it's quickly become one of if not my favorite games that's come out this year and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. This video is why you NEED to play Another Crab's Treasure. Thanks for watching!

This is my first time on this channel, as I'm looking for a game to gift my friend, and I have been completely blown away by this video. I don't follow games review channels as it not my type of content but you're writing is amazing. I just subscribe and can't wait to see your next video!

here at 900 views i just wanna say, im pretty much the same in the sense that ive never played a souls game for more than an hour or so before putting it down and generally not going back to it for pretty much the same reasons. This game is a pretty good way in getting me, and probably others, interested to actually try to play other souls style games. Also after beating it and watching other play, it astounds me how much regular souls players are able to use the spell/umami abilities in ways that i just didnt think were possible, and why I used a more of a melee style of playthrough my first time around. I feel like the combat in itself was also purposely made to get more and more people into this genre of games that the devs clearly liked/admired growing up. It essentially makes it so people that have played souls games can still be enjoyable, but also makes it so that new players of the genre (like us or even kids just getting into games) can really get a idea of how to play these games and what kind of headspace to be in. Also the hiding in the shell mechanic I kinda just figured is a more natural way of how crabs fight compared to how humans fight. So while it makes it easy its also kinda cannon if you think about it. last thing 38:15 was one of the most annoying parts about this game other than attempting to lock onto a enemy and it auto targets another baddie off screen that im not even fighting. If those are really our only complaints then that makes this a damn good game. sorry for the essay reply i just loved this game about as much as you did.

you basically summed up my thoughts perfectly! i also never really considered that continuously blocking is probably more accurate to what crabs would do irl, but that’s a good connection! (also yes, accidentally hooking onto stuff was annoying but i neglected to mention it bc it happened like maybe 2 or 3 times in my play through)

I wish it was on mac, I would play the heck out of it, I just finished hollow knight in a week (proud of it) and I am hooked, I love the soulslike but also metroidvania game type. also im more of a fan of the cute nintendo astaethic, so this is so perfect for newbies that maybe dont "like" the dark themes from darksouls

Its interesting since you had a breeze where I struggled and vice versa, perhaps playstyle makes a difference. The game itself is easy I will agree

i think it really depends on the person as well. for instance my friend also playing the game thought that Firth was pretty difficult while i was able to beat him in a few tries

@@mjshinyhunter Gee I wonder who that friend could be. No in all seriousness firth was really hard I had to stack up on the another crab stowaway to have a chance of beating him giving me like 5 lives per attempt.
