It seems like Jen was the person who brought all the positivity. When she left, the positivity did too. Pat tried his best to contain the remaining positivity after their separation, but was ruined by Eleni (and perhaps Liz). It's really sad to see how Pat and Jen's lives went on after the separation. @@averagegamer8086 Yeah, it's not quite his fault, he got a bad girlfriend that had 2020 energy all over her, I have a gut feeling a few people who sent her "Death Threats" maybe she was lying? Pat's community seemed awfully friendly and generally speaking, those who probably send her any form of harassment likely held a hunch she wasn't good. Though no doubt maybe a minority were gatekeeping, probably not far to assume she was... very ego centric and toxic. Makes me wonder if she lied about the death threats, or fabricated them even. Or just exaggerated a few blowing it out to be something bigger than it was.

Honestly watching this breaks my heart. From my own life experience and relationships I believe every word he says 100%. I have dated the same exact types and actually been through worse situations, though not in the public eye. People that deal with bipolar, bpd, ptsd/cptsd, narcisstic personality disorder are extremely hard to have a successful relationship with especially if they don’t take ownership and seek treatment. As much as you want to love them and be empathetic towards their mental health and trauma you’ll likely end up in jail, have your name smeared, or even dead. There is some folks that actually work through it and get the help they need but I would never take my chances trying to “save”, help, or heal someone like that again unless I knew for certain that had already done that work by themselves. It sounds like he has a similar mentality I had to heal myself from which is basically co-dependency and knowing that a situation is too volitile for your own safety, regardless how much you want to help someone. Sometimes (especially as men) we almost get addicted to these types and infatuated with the idea we can help them become better. I can imagine his brand with the couple aspect made it even harder to leave. Hope u heal bro ❤

I used to watch his mods (like the digging down thingy) and I loved it, I left them for a while and came back to see his last post was a year ago, I was really upset but I left to see if they posted something else, when I came back to check, the recent jail video was posted, I knew that it was bad news and went to watch something else because I didn’t want my heart to break.

This man pretty much raised me all throughout my childhood and it hurts to see him be in such a dark place and get treated horribly, I really do hope he finds happiness and gets to live the rest of his life in peace.

I feel so bad for pat, he's gone through so much within the past like 2 years. I remember watching his epic proportions, lucky block battlegrounds, and lucky block bedwars along with other classics when I was younger and it's devastating seeing how downhill his life has gone. I truly hope pat recovers from all of this.

This really hurts. I remember it being 2014 and I would watch them all the time. Back when they released the first book of theirs I even got it at a school book fair. now its just sad to see that it's basically at an end. Just another reminder that nothing lasts forever.

I remember how when I was younger, I went to a party where there wasn't much to do there besides play Minecraft on my ipad with some other kids I met. When the battery died, we had nothing to do; but one kid suggested something. He got on his phone, went to KZread, and started playing one of Pat's videos. I had no idea who that was, but at the time, he and Jen were the funniest people in the world. So after the party, I decided to try and use KZread myself to look for their videos. That one video was the entire reason for me learning and getting into KZread in the first place. I can't say enough on how those videos impacted my life, and it just really hurts to see Pat shown and talked about this way. He was a big part of my childhood, and I just really wish things didn't have to go this way. I know that Pat can never go back to his old life, but I hope that there is still something out there that can give him a reason to be happy again.

Breaks my heart to see this. When I was a kid, this man seemed like the happiest man in the world. He had a loving wife, a successful youtube channel and loving fans. It's insane how things can go south so quickly so fast.

It’s so sad to see all of this happen to him. He was a colossal part of my childhood and for a lot of other people too. I just really hope things start to look up for him eventually.

A fallen king, remembered as the one of many that made our childhood for a generation to come. He deserves better, though at the very least his ex-wife truly does still care for him.

It hurts. It really does, pat made our days better, all 200 million of us. We can make his year great. The ending of this video really struck me like a lightning bolt. Its hard to believe everything he's saying is true. But it's hard to not believe it, he had a valid explanation. I hope pat gets better!

There's been lots of drama with other people's favorite childhood creators, and I never related because I never grew up with those KZreadrs so it was unfamiliar to me and I didn't care all that much. But this hits different. Me and my sisters loved watching Pat and Jen's videos- it was always so exciting when they came out with another one, and I remember the day their breakup video came out and it sucked when we realized it wouldn't be the same after that. I feel bad for Pat and I genuinely wish him the best.

She assaulted him, lied to him, drove while drunk, was arrested with everyone shes been with and even been to mental asylums multiple times, but Pat still says he loves Liz. My heart truly breaks for his soul

Honestly tho idk whose story to believe. This guy screams dodging accountability for his actions and seems to have an excuse/way to spin the story every time he’s “accused” of something. Like streaking at the game on national tv. Clearly we all saw it yet he says the justice system is corrupt and gave him false charges… And when you’re caught chasing after someone with a knife while drunk, kind of hard to take his side on this. I think both him and her are unstable and need serious rehabilitation/mental care

I can’t help but feel bad for this guy, this man’s downfall is the only downfall (that I’ve heard of) that genuinely breaks my heart. It’s really heartbreaking to see a few years prior he was one of the happiest, most cheerful, amazing, and passionate people I’ve ever watched, he formed my entire childhood. It’s so sad to see how much things have fallen apart for him, I really hope he makes the comeback, love you pat.

It honestly breaks my heart to see what happened to pat. I’ll admit, I don’t remember watching many of his videos, but for the probably many I saw, I enjoyed them a lot and honestly kinda miss it. I hope pat can find peace and happiness and I’m also happy that Jen is currently happy (that I know of)

Pat’s story makes sense. After things went south with Jen, he seems to have tried to fill that void with mentally ill girls who were likely extremely easy to woo due to those mental issues. Drinking is very likely to cause blow up events like this, especially in someone who has BPD and depression and PTSD. It’s also evident that he loves her very much which explains why he has been extremely hesitant and limited when it comes to placing the blame and condemning some of her actions. He says she drove drunk the first time so it makes sense that a drunk Pat locked out of his own home would think slashing tires he can afford to replace would be the best way to ensure she didn’t drink and drive hurting herself or others around her. If he did chase her down the street, it seems way more likely he was trying to keep her out of trouble as opposed to attacking her. Someone with all those mental disorders is going to interpret all these different events as Pat being a controlling abuser who’s trying to hurt her when the reality is a lovesick partner trying to protect her while intoxicated.

I remember watching his videos every morning while having breakfast before going to school (his lucky block challenges were always my favorite). Then around 2016 I stopped watching because I thought I should "grow up" and watch more mature non-gaming contents. So I was very surprised when I decided to check his channel again for some nostalgia trip only to find.....this.😢

I used to watch these Pat and Jen when I was younger and now I sit here as an adult wondering how all this happened. It’s not often you see such a wild roller coaster of a life like Pats and to a much greater extent EDP. To see such a great KZreadr like PopularMMOs go from a idol to me to this, is truly heartbreaking.

Sad to see this guy go, he was a legend in the scene and made so many childhoods

There are so many creators that make people believe everything is good on camera only for them to be exposed for being awful human beings, but Popularmmos in my opinion isn't one of them, he's always been one of the most sincere content creators ever and seeing everything he's going through makes me so sad, he was my childhood growing up right next to Ssundee and Prestonplayz, I hope Pat can recover from this.

Every time Pat makes a community comment or tweet, he always gets waves of support from fans. It's been this way since forever, just nothing but kinds words from adoring fans. But considering he still feels this level of depression and isolation there is genuinely nothing we as fans can physically do. He has to go out and get help himself, his fans aren't able to help him. He needs to get professional help or he's just gonna be on his own. That's just the way life is.

He was a huge part of my childhood, and a even bigger part of the minecraft community. From epic proportions to mob battles and lucky blocks he really did it all. Throughout the whole situation it’s so chilling to see the slow absolute downward spiral that his life had become with each post dragging him deeper, like when you say something you regret and say more to make it better when you just should have kept your mouth shut.

I used to be addicted to watch their watch their videos, and stopped watching around 2 years ago when they stopped uploading, to the point where i completely forgot about them, Millions of people were confused and wondering where he had disappeared, this video definitely help me understand things and I do truly hope that pat's situation will get better, he never deserved any of this.

I used to love watching him and Jen play, it was literally the only thing I would look forward to during middle school lol. I hope he finds peace and learns to keep social media and personal details separate

The way I see pat and Jen is like this: Pat provided great gameplay while Jen provided humor. They had a very good connection and bounced off each other very well. The other girls were just kinda nervous and quiet, leading to unfunny and awkward videos. They were just a legendary duo who worked together very well.

I never shed a tear when watching Minecraft KZreadrs' downfalls, but this video was another case. I couldn't help but feel heartbroken by this man's tragic life and his breakups, and I never even followed him as a kid. Safe to say, he didn't deserve any of the stuff he received during this period. Thankfully he's doing well now in his podcasts

mental disorders can be very hard for both parties and a person can take so much before retorquing or fall into a spiral. i don t know how things are in the states since i am from canada but here we have support groups and lines for the person suffering from the disorder but for their partners as well. i think it s very important for both parties to seek help and not just count on friends or families since such disorders can be very complex and vary from case to case. sometimes the person suffering from the disorder is also very scared, have abandonment issues, doesn't feel like reaching out since they are just feeling like being attacked or called crazy. i highly doubt this woman reads comment here but know girl that even if it can be a hard to find the therapist for you there is bond to have one that will be able to help you feel better about yourself and the world around you. you are not alone and even if you think you can t be happy or hate the world around you there is always some people who will understand your struggle and like you for who you are but in order to stop pushing away those who care about you you need to take care of yourself first.

Honestly its really sad and disappointing to see pat go down this path. I loved watching him when i was younger... I hope he gets better 🙏

I dated a girl with BPD for 4 years. While it wasn't as toxic as some other cases I've read (or Pat in this situation), I cannot tell you the insecurities that come up in you when you're dating someone with BPD. There are insane levels of instability that leave you confused and caught off guard. I ended it almost a year and a half ago and it took everything I have in order to bounce back and it's been very very difficult. From therapy to support group of friends and family to change in lifestyle, I did it all and I am still almost back to being who I was before her. Believe me, it's not pretty and like I said, it wasn't as toxic as others I've seen.

I have BPD and it's half true. People with BPD have lots of different emotions. Sometimes people with it can go crazy or sometimes they could be down. At the end of the day they usually don't mean anything by it.

I got lucky and ditched my BPD girl after 8 months of dating. Nothing against anyone suffering from things beyond their control, but when you use it as a crutch to justify cheating, you lose any argument about it hindering your life.

It hurts seeing where Pat is going through right now. Having seen him as my childhood KZreadr, it just pains me to see him like this. Hope everything turns out well for him.

For anyone who comes across this comment I want to let you know that Popularmmos is back! On his channel he posted a new video and he now has a new channel where he does podcasts with his friends. It’s much more adult orientated than his previous videos but he’s still the same Pat we all know and love.

He was the youtuber that I watched that most as a child... watched alot that I created my youtube channel just to like, subscribe and comment on his content. It was a lonely childhood but getting back from school to double uploads of his videos just helped me going. It's painful to see him spiral like this. He tries so hard to portray strength, but even he eventually reached his limit. Pat, I don't think you'll see this, but if you do, I want you to know you're loved. I want you to know there are a lot of people that care about you. Family, friends and us. We care and we want the best for you. Don't give in. I been watching pat for as long as i could remember, from his popular uploads, to his crazy mob battles and all the lucky blocks he has opened since the first ever challenge games. All of his videos inspired me to become a young gamer and a creative mindset. Now discovering this, i honestly wish i could be there to help him get back up.😔

Those two carried my childhood, everyday ever since i discovered their youtube i watched as many of their videos as i could ever since jen left and pat started with eleni I was perfectly fine with it as i was 7 and didnt understand dating, then liz came. I once again didnt understand dating then i stopped watching them after they got arrested. I didnt have insta, twitter any social media except youtube it hurts me to hear all of this and i will never EVER forget how happy the videos made me ❤ . Thank you for informing me on it all
