Hello Veronika, I'm from Indonesia. The first time I studied English I watched youtube with subtitles, and now I watch your videos without subtitles. Your voice is very clear, I love listening to your voice❤
As a native English speaker, i can say Nobody understood mister batch in the clip at the beginning.

@hugogalciusphysics yeah but "where do we start" was the only words that were technically English. The rest was undoubtedly alcoholic gibberish crossed with bird chirps. As someone who frequents bars, I have an ear for it.

As a native speaker, do you understand Brad Pitt in "the Snatch" movie?
@tonyp6631
2 ай бұрын
Bradd Pitt doesn't understand bradd pitt's character in snatch. I know it's technically language, but I think it only applies to squirrels from when the romans used messenger squirrels. It's a dead language
That's really good! If I had a teacher in school like you Veronika, I would be making my videos in English by now ahaha! Very impressive content, keep up the good work! ❤
I watch English movies while turned on subtitles, especially i watching American movies and tv show. Sometimes i can understand a little bit without subtitles. It was interesting topic and helpful to me. Thank you a lot.
your speak is so clear, like your videos😊
You are special, wonderful... I can understand everything you say, and your voice sounds great. I'm Brazilian and I love it, I love studying English with your videos...Congratulations
Subtitles are good! My particular issue with it is that i found better to practice active listening without subtitles. But whenever i need i just turn the cc on.
Your videos help me practice my listening. I remember when I started listening to your channel and I didn't understand anything, now I understand almost everything that you say. 😁
I love love love this girl. Her speaking ability just makes my heart melt!❤❤❤

My dear veronika . Could you give us daily or weekly lessons for more practice? That what i was wish from you. Its just suggest from me. You will become the best teatcher❤❤
Do you know the whole IPA? I don't really want to learn russian but your songs are amazing. I want to be able to spell voices only and want to learn ipa. Can you make a guide about how to learn ipa? I can only learn english IPA from youtube. But especially i want to be able to spell words in russian
I always use subtitles when they are available. Sometimes people speak too softly, and it helps when names and places are mentioned.
Veronika! What for do you learn so many different languages?
Take love From Bangladesh ❤

What kind of books you recommend?
0:46 - 0:55 What is that clip from? It sounds like something I would say and I'd like to reference/meme that LOL. "Why have I chosen to study Russian?" is also a mood, but for me it's a little bit different. My situation is I'm fluent conversationally, except I'm a heritage speaker so I make mistakes (and hate when I do / get embarrassed when Native speakers correct me, even though I'm very thankful for their corrections) and I learned while growing up in household while living in the US and also learning English from comprehensible input (TV, radio, etc, and it just came naturally) and I still basically "study" it every day organically/naturally, but I consider English my native language and I always struggle and switch to English with natives speakers of Russian who also know English. I've taken courses too to improve my knowledge, but I still am not super confident in my abilities. Any advice?
what a girveous! what a vudeo! what a accent I really adore your accent I'm quite into it!
Could I use lingopie in english to study english? Because there is not my mother language in lingopie :(

I just don't get the way people speak like whenever i speak, i feel that my speech rate or speed is not like other people because they speak fast than me since i been depressed over some people not understanding the way i speak. Like either they didn't understand because i was speaking fast or they didn't hear me.
Do you know i become addicted to your content

You can start with shadowing for better pronunciation, watch a minute of video, write what you heard, check if you wrote correctly and try to repeat many times until you can speak as the person in the video. Choose a random picture and describe it out loud, using simple words and structures at the beginning Just say in english what are you doing, like: I'm reading a book, I bought it 3 weeks ago, I find it interesting I'm going to wash some apples for me and my family, we all love this fruit We're listening to music, I missed this song, it reminds me of my childhood Something like that)
Do you have a Russian course? I'd like to learn it
i'm an indonesian, the lesson is very goog but I can speak english well. have you ever gone to indonesian country
why do you use this flag 🇺🇲 when you talk about english but not this one🇬🇧?

I’m a native English speaker and to me she sounds like someone that moved to America as a child - not native but extremely close Also, her accent in English isn’t a Russian accent - I doubt most Americans could correctly guess where she’s from
