Thank you for the tips, man, the one about recoginsing weaknesses was probably the one thing that I didmt realised i need to do, mostly because i just have had no clue now, but when im next working on a track, i will time everything tho i already know i am very good at working with bass amd drums so i will likely start with those as i feel it'll help me come up with ideas for everything else fast. Regarding everything else, I am a student studying music tech, a part of that was learning some level of music theory, while it definitely can help, i fully agree you dont nessacerally need it. For the second one, ill try first organise my sample and instruments properly before i use tip 2 but definitely could help me do things quicker, improve my overall workflow, for example any stems could go in a stem folder, which have other folders of vocals or instrumentals, if the stems have individual instrument stems in them then i can add a drums folder or melody folder, then name tge files appropriately and put them in the appropriate folder. I will also make sure to put myself on timers at some point, although im not sure how likely i sm to do that as timers cause me to panic more though that may help lead me to improve and make less mistakes under pressure, help me understand how i work, what i relay on when having to do things quick. I already have started planning things out in notes which is a recent thing i picked up, i want to start further planning, stuff like what i do in a day, just so i can get on with things. For the expectations, right now i am going to be working on a game soundtrack for a game in roblox, right now my plan is to make the soundtrack, in the future i may look into working for that group for a while to build up a portfolio, but i do also have the small term goal of growing my soundcloud and youtube. As for planning releases i really struggle figuring things out and i do plan on looking into promotion more and understanding how i can get more people excited for my work, i feel like i could do this by posting content related to it or teasing tiny parts of the song, just overall being comsistant in posting about it, I could maybe find some playlists that people actually listen to, to get myself heard a little more. Apart from that, this again was another great video, ill definitely kerp watching and commenting, the thumbnail was great, definitely gave a more serious tone thats needed for this sort of video, i appreciate you doing all this for free

A blessing and a curse! I find jumping between two refreshing, for example when I was in teaching I used to use Logic all day with the students, so I’d use Ableton at home to mix it up!
