You hit the nail on the head, we non native feel a sense of vulnerability while speaking English, many of us know this is not true but still we feel a kinda hidden pressure of being judged.

That's exactly it, and non-native speakers feel that even more as we tend to worry about making mistakes while speaking English. The main goal should be to get your meaning across instead of "saying it right". Strive for connection in the first place and it will lower the stress level for sure. Thanks for watching!

That's something that is similar to me because it's more difficult for me to speak than write. I think it's time to cultivate a new habit of speaking every day 'cause all I do is just consume a lot of vocabulary but when it's time to speak, these new words and phrases do not come out of my mouth so easily as I want them to do, my vocabulary remaims dormant, you know By the way, it's me, Michael. We talked on the 29th of April. Thanks a lot again for everything even though I didn't say anything useful because of my fear, sorry😂 During the interview you asked me about your app, actually I've got a nice idea to offer:it will be awesome If you add a separate function where you can speak with people who have the same level of English as a user does. Also, I missed Thiago because he added his unic vibe to your lessons, fortunately I can follow him on his own channel. That was a great lesson as always, your quality of vids has improved a lot

Hi. What do you call writing? Cause if you mean writing a bunch of words together without making any sense and with lots of mistakes, then probably writing is easier. However, writing is one of the most difficult skills when it comes to languages, even for native speakers of any language. I mean of course properly writing. I'd say that anyone is a speaker, but not everybody is a writer. I have to agree though that speaking has the added challenge of producing the language in real time, which it could be really hard for a number of reasons, shyness, lack of vocab, not understanding, fear of being judged, etc.

In fact, I find it easier to speak than to write in English. Writing it is quite difficult and I have to practice every day.

Ксенія, як має виглядати "ідеальний" день, якщо так можна сказати, для того хто вивчає мову? Читаю, вчу фрази, дивлюся фільми, але таке відчуття, що нікуди не рухаюся. Дякую за допомогу.

Thanks for your question, Oleg! I wouldn't strive for the "ideal" day - everything's changing so fast. So I would go for an "interesting" or an "inspirational". To feel progress you would want to set goals in the first place. How else would you wanna feel the progress if you have nothing to compare to?
