Neither did the torys. They sent billions to france, still crossing, sent billions to Rwanda, still crossing. The money spent already could of been put into the economy, No instead we have an indian steel company closing its furnaces and moving their business to india. Instead of having a solid economy, we have a Tory gov, who have sold us all out, taken away our jobs and flooded the country with people who would side with russia and china in an event of a world war 3. All hail Tory Britain.

Cowboys the whole lot of them, nobody willing to walk the walk but just try and talk their way out of hard decisions. Additional elements to the border force will not work and just waste even more money. Give the Rwanda scheme a chance and see what happens, even some migrants who were coming to the UK are no longer coming due to this threat.

So why does any presenter never ask Labour where all those mainly single men live, if Labour clear out the hotels? No one ever asks this! The hotels once cleared out of migrants, get a full refurbishment at the taxpayers expense. Some of these hotels are massive. So how much will this cost as against the Rwanda determent plan?

The core issue isn't solely about escalating investigative efforts; it's about fundamentally overhauling our laws to address illegal immigration head-on. Bolstering international relations with countries that serve as major sources of illegal immigration to the UK could prove to be a game-changer. It's evident that fostering stronger diplomatic ties alongside legal reforms is indispensable for comprehensively tackling this issue. While most politicians echo similar sentiments, they often fall short of detailing their strategies. It's easy to articulate such views publicly, but actions speak louder than words. Therefore, until concrete evidence emerges of any party's commitment to addressing this issue, skepticism is warranted. It's imperative to assess the efficacy of their policies through tangible results before taking either party's stance seriously.

I'm afraid that my vote is now based on results not words. No one has ever defeated the drugs gangs so why should they have anymore success with the people smuggling gangs? Maybe we could build a refugee camp on Highbury field's in Islington and Hampstead heath, then introduce a voluntary refugee tax that Brits can pay to cover the cost of these asylum seekers. I wonder what the uptake would be.

what are you smoking? The next election is already over. Even if Starmer had a video of him come out of him doing illegal things to little babies, the gap in polling is so massive; he would still be our next PM. The tories are done. Far right will split off into reform. Tories will probably pivot to the far right as well to shore up that support, hopefully enough britons have more than 2 braincells and they never get into power again. And hopefully this will relegate the far right as far away from power as possible.

Labour MUST seek consent from the British public if they intend to share public data with foreign powers. Particularly as they have not offered to repeal "The Investigatory powers act 2016" and as such UK citizens human rights are being broken to collect this data. With AI now working in data collection and analyses the public needs to have the debate and clear lines must be set. Labour have no rights to give away UK citizens security and privacy to anyone.

If the Tories had used half of what they plan to spend on this to fund the Home Office so it was capable of doing it's job the boats wouldn't be an issue, but like every other Government department the Tories want to sell bit off to private companies so they can make profit from the tax payer
