As more and more 911's go turbo, and as long as the GT3 remains a naturally aspirated (as it should), the straight line acceleration gap will continue to grow smaller and smaller. For the 992 generation, the difference between a Porsche 911 GTS and a Porsche GT3 Touring are down to 0.1 second to a 0-60 run. That's absolutely MAD! My left ear really enjoyed this video
Back seats (even for storage without having that roll cage), instant torque for day to day is great (and to be honest, when driving the S version I did not find it would stop pulling until the redline, these engines are amazing from very low to high rpms). Maybe I'm getting old, but a debadged GTS is an absolute steath weapon.
I love my GT3 but the Targa GTS is the best all around car.
All those ppts options and people still choose dull boring blacks and greys. Disappointing these things deserve a nice colour.

I’m a bold color guy as well but like I mentioned in the video, my buddy wanted a subtle color and we didn’t plan to wait for a PTS car
If they aint manual. i aint looking at either!

They are both offered in manual which is awesome
O have traded my 22 992 GTS for a Turbo (Non S). I wouldn’t imagine that the cars are so different. The Turbo feels a lot more solid and well built. Better tuned suspension and loads of torque make it worth the difference in price.
Gotta get one of each!
Targa is a neat concept but they’re way too heavy. Coupe all day every day.
It's crazy because the other night I saw a targa but I'll take the GT3 any day
GTS beats out the GT3 0-60 idk why you have it backwards. Maybe cause of the weight of the target. Even on the Porsche site it even states 0-60 for the GT3 touring to be 3.2 and the GTS 2.8 both automatic transmission.
The Targa GTS is good for driving in the snow or in the desert of Africa. The GT3 Touring will excel on paved roads. $23,440 more just to have a 4wd, ouch! Both of them are bad-ass cars.

The Targa GTS here is a 50th Anniversary car, so it’s got a bit steeper MSRP. Part of that MSRP is a collectible 1 of 750 Porsche Design watch, at roughly $12,xxx
If I have to keep one I’ll take Touring. But I do love targa a lot

I have the feeling that Porsche is deliberately understating the true power output of the GTS, in order not to overshadow the GT3. I wonder how the GT3 would perform with a GTS engine swapped in?
Had a 991.2 GTS excellent car and far better daily than the GT3 (any of them), however you have to make sure you get the configuration right.

@@Dejan_23Unlimited Get the basics right e,g. , rear axle steering (RAS), Sports Chrono, Performance Sports Exhaust. Seats either 18 way or CF buckets. GTS interior package. Suspension, you want the 10mm drop and rear helper springs (can't remember if this is standard). Front axle lift (location dependant e.g. steep drive ways etc). Consider body colour matched dials and glass sunroof.

The GT3 has a harder suspension. It is not an everyday car.
