If the man took care or was taking good care of the wife the wife's mother wouldn't have come to pick up the daughter. Judge fumi is wise and calm. I respect the couple as well they are both calm not mad at each other I love them for that. I think they can still mend the fence and continue to live as couple since no case of domestic violence

The man is bringing 10k as upkeep every month, he is not paying school fees, not buying books not even clothes yet he wants custody of the kids. That 20k can't even pay for t.fare to school for a term. The 20k per child is just too small since the man is not paying school fees for the children

What can she do when they have agreed to separate. What else should she be concerned with? My only problem is that she doesn't make adequate provision for the children. Taking care of children goes beyond just paying school fees (which in this case the man is not even doing). what about housing the kids, clothing them. There are other incidentals expenses as well. In current Nigeria, 8 and 10 year old feeding per day would not be less than 3k. Let us even assume N2k, that is about N60k per month. And some men would come here and be talking about N20k! That leaves N40k for the woman to augment, apart from accomodation expenses, clothing etc left for the woman. If not that a woman is better placed to raise kids, it would have been better to let men take custody and see what it takes to raise kids in terms of finances and attention. This woman is lucky to have a burden bearer in her sister.

Being courteous with your mannerisms and words matter. I suppose him telling her you're happy her mother is dead is okay to you. What kind of bias law is this? Is high Time men stand up and change this laws stacked against men. How can woman have full custody of a child but men can only have access even if the man believe he can take care of the child, 7- 10yrs human is not much a kid.
