This man who hired the laborers was a kind caring man. He must have felt for the ALL the men needing work and for some reason he noticed that some did not get to the hiring location depending on things. He did not judge by appearances. He was heartfelt. He gave them slack! This is how Jesus gives us grace. We must also do that for others. That is my take!

What happens when people do not recognize a moral authority and rely on each and everyone's moral compass? "Woke" or "Cancel" cultures. First, louder mobs of the same ideals cancels the other side, then they start canceling each other. No one is safe, they accept nothing more than conformity and the only option for the meek is silence.

WELL SAID! The moral authority of the world needs to be reinstated in all peoples and all countries. God is in charge otherwise there would be so little hope. Believers need to pray, pray, pray! Sounds familiar? Yes, we obviously not praying enough. COME LORD JESUS COME!

We do need authority. To be in charge so we will not have chaos. This is the happening to us now the leaders in charge are not really taking charge and being courageous and dialogueing. Let's pray them all to do what is best for the world.

I'm no Church expert and please don't anathemize me, but let the Lord bring me to His wisdom and knowledge in the Holy Spirit. I also believe in merits and rewards, by God's grace, that we do here in order to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, the eternal life of glorious resurrection. I understand that we will all inherit our true identities in heaven, we will become our true selves as God intended for us as His children in heaven. I believe the fullness of heaven is the complete realization of the Joy, the Love of God, that we will all receive as we see Him face to face in heaven, at the same time as we retain everything good in God's grace that we have done and the true identities that we will all have in the resurrection of glory. And so in heaven, indeed the joy of the merits we retain will enrich our everlasting life, each according to his or her works in grace, also in the full realization of love with each other in heaven together as one Body of Christ who will be our King of Glory forever and ever.

"Protestant" here. Jesus is my king! He called me to Him and I am his. - The suffering experienced in this world is temporary and indeed the refiners fire. It is through trials that we “store” treasure in heaven. In prayer I saw an image of a hand being covered in molten gold and had a sense of the suffering associated with it and more importantly our response to it. When you squeeze a ‘Christian’, Jesus should come out. Thank you for these daily devotionals and your work for the kingdom. God bless you and this ministry.

Lovely way to put the sufferings that we have to pass, that refines us as Christ! Pray for the persecuted Christians around the world 🙏 specially for the ones in Muslim countries.

The bible allowed slavery because the people at the time did not consider it to be immoral. How do you reconcile that with considering the bible to be a guide for morality?

Ruled by a weed selected by men. Interesting. When the order of papal selection is usurped by men.

At the moment we have only The Lords Moral Authority...the pope's mentally ill. We need to pray for him.. When the pope stops his nonsense with klaus schwab and regains his senses, then maybe he will lead as he ought...

I hear what you are saying... but... 😆 this pope is not making it easy to support his moral leadership when he seems at odds with his own church's biblical teachings... even though he is chosen through God's inspiration.
