Oh, dear sisters.... this is full of ignorance.... the fact you cannot explain properly, shows you did not know what you are doing. No we do not call it a box, it is a Confessional, where we go talk to Jesus Christ our Lord... and the priest is the representative of Christ on Earth, which IS Biblical.... everything you mentioned is biblical.... sisters I pray the blindness falls away and you come back to God's family.

We did not fall away from God's family. If anything we are more rooted in Him more than ever because we have studied and know the scriptures for ourselves and aren't dependent on a priest to feed us. It was stated clearly that we still are part of the church, we attend a non-denominational Christian church. There were never any denominations in the Bible--these factions are man-made and this division in the church is why we are losing to the world. We stand on the Word of God, not man-made doctrines. We've grown so much in our faith and walk with Christ since leaving the Catholic church and thank God for deliverance. I will continue to pray that ultimately the truth of His Word would set you and others free as well. God bless.

Actually is biblical. Mathew 16:18; see section on giving Peter/first pope (means rock) and his successors the power to choose what is bound/loosed.

That's made up to justify centralized power and is one scripture twisted. Confession was to occur one to another. No one is a gate keeper for God.

Priest are men of God. If your sins were so bad to tell a man of God what you did, then you shouldn't be in the religion to begin with.

Religion is man-made. God did not call us to follow religion, He called us to relationship with Him. And for you to say that we shouldn't "be in the religion if the sin is so bad" is the very reason why we people leave. You are gatekeeping people from coming to God as they are and preventing winning souls to Christ because you promote the doctrine that you have to be perfect in order for God to love you. We aren't to remain in sin, but He never requires us to be perfect before coming to Him. Keeping you in prayer.
