You two are the daughters every parent dreams of having! I am a physician. It was my goal and dream. It was and remains a shit ton of work. I can tell you I never had the sheer joy on my face that you two wear just talking about your passion! You are doing what I and many others PAY to do!! You have found your calling, your passion and are finding a way to make a living doing it! Because of that, you will never “work” a day in your life!! If you ever decide to screw this up and apply to med school, you have an awesome compelling legit story that we nerds flock to like moths to a light! The world is truly your oyster! Ps: Thank you for wearing clothes.😃

Sharing this video with one of my daughters that just started college but has been freaking out about what to study, what career to have etc. I have tried to encourage her (since she could walk) that opportunities will appear as she works hard and is open to trying new things. What I thought was going to be more of a technical video, turned out to be exactly what she needs to hear, and not from her dad.

Just stumbled upon your videos and I watched a few now I’m hooked and subscribed. Love the laid back approach to things. Unlike some other fishing channels I never feel like a dumbass after listening to you. I’ve worked as a mate for captains transporting yachts from as far south as St Thomas in the East and San Andres, Colombia in the west to as far north as Montréal by the outside around Nova Scotia. I can appreciate the comment about the feeling of being alone on the fly bridge. I really love your channel and wish you guys all the best.

You have such a head on your shoulders and as hard as you tried to explain the "why", you did an excellent job sharing. You two deserve so much of the credit for where you are and what you have accomplished, but I would like to shake your parents hands - they did an excellent job raising two bright and talented girls.

After and during your presentation of “why,” I had tears in my eyes and soul because of your life’s joy and expressions of that joy you share with everyone through your experiences and communication of knowledge. I really don’t have the words to express how much I viscerally agree with everyone who has said good things about the two of you and all you do. Your love for the water, fishing and boating is something I would hope could be deposited in my grandchildren. The best way I know how to do that, including personal experiences with them, is exposure to your videos, teaching and water life. Thank you for everything you are and do. I’m so glad you did and are choosing the life path you’ve taking. It is truly a blessing in so many ways to have you share it with the world in the fashion you do. I know this may sound overly dramatized, but truth is truth no matter how it’s served-up/delivered. Thank you!! 😊

Amanda and Emily - Emily and Amanda, you are an absolute tonic and perfect role models for the younger generation. I admire your enthusiasm about what you do and it proves that when you do something that you really love, you will never work a day in your life. It is also brilliant to see two young ladies who are obviously very close having the opportunity to do something that they really enjoy. One of the points that really hit me was your phrase, “follow the breadcrumbs”, which is so true. You are both so gifted and it is a credit that you are using these talents to your best advantage. Your parents must be so proud of you both 💕 There is an old saying here in Ireland, “that whatever is for you, will never pass you”, and you are living proof of this. I came across your page and videos by accident, you just popped up 😂 Thankfully you did, because having watched your videos I am grateful that I had that opportunity. Keep doing what you are doing and I wish you both all the very best in the world 💕 You are both bringing a lot of enjoyment to people around the world, because of your attitude and personality and I am sure that many will be very grateful for that. I will stop now before I start writing a book 😂 once again thank you and onwards and upwards ❤️

You two made the best decision of your lives, and will be very successful. I am subscribed to quite a few fishing channels... and I put you right up there next to BlacktipH, on watchability. You two do your own thing, and it's wonderful to watch. You clearly have the passion for fishing, that only those born with the fishing "gift"... recognize. It's taken me and my best friend a long time to realize, that we should have doing the same thing all this time... so we are packing up in a year, moving back to Florida... buying a boat, and following our true passion. Consider yourselves lucky, that the stars lined up early on for you. Keep up the great work!

love the story! Well done on following your PASSION! Congrats on NOT following the normal! Blessed and fortunate that your parents supported your journey! Why you say? Simply because it felt right, it made you happy, it wasn't about the money, it was all about the journey, and your "WHY" has two reason's for lesson...FOLLOW your PASSION and DON'T follow the normal. Well done!! all the way from NZ.

I stumbled upon your fishing videos a few days ago and really enjoy them. This one was very informative and gave a good view of your background. Now that you're young adults, as time goes on and you may eventually have children of your own, you'll come to realize that mom and dad booked you on those fishing charters when you were younger so they could have some alone time without the chance of the kids walking in and creating an awkward situation. My niece has twin daughters who are in junior high and I'm going to into your videos to them. You young ladies are a breath of fresh air.

Recently came across your channel. We are enjoying watching. I occasionally have the opportunity to speak to high school students. One thing I stress is that it matters not what job you have in life. What matters is to get up on a workday and feel "I get to go to work today". It takes more than a boat load of money to make up for a job you don't like. Thankfully, I love my work as a Dr. but, my heart often goes back to those summers as a charter mate. There's something about heading offshore with the sunrise on a crisp spring morning that has no comparison. Do what you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life!

Hello Ladies, There's moments in life where it's not a matter of "why" but "why not"... Thankfully both of your outlooks have attracted the right people to guide you along your journey. Undoubtedly the "Gale Force Twins" are force to be reckoned with. Although twins, thank you for being yourselves and more importantly please extend many thanks to your parents on raising two outstanding people. In the meantime, thank you for you time and for flying Lufthansa Airlines... Fred C.

I did an in person 2 week condense course in San Diego, CA it was probably the toughest thing I have done between it, college, and the police academy. But I got it and now looking to become a vessel commander. Two things I love LE and the Ocean. I would telling anyone thinking about it go for it. It’s pretty tough but when your done you feel very accomplished.

You were describing what it's like to be alone up in the tower, I just find it is kind of spiritual out on the water between God and the Deep Blue Sea. Love your videos .. you two are so inspirational to so many people. Great work, Captains.. thanks for sharing, again. R/ Glenn L

It raining early morning. It has been a bad week- lousy, cold weather, no fish in several days, your bones hurt when you wake up, and you wonder why do you do what you do. Then, you climb that flybridge, start the engines, and pull out the dock and think: This is the coolest job! Today we are gunna catch fish.

I am 40 and just about to buy my first boat (in Thailand). I didn't want to jump in without any knowledge so I have been researching boating and learning the rules but it seems like a lot is learnt out on the water. Still not wanting to be a complete dumbass I searched for information on how drive get up on plane and came across your videos. You two are freaking awesome on all your descriptions and adding the simple images really help. I thought I liked your video before but after learning that you were college T&F athletes I like you even more. I ran XC and track in college but I was a sad DII runners (lol) Love the video I will keep watching your new content as well as reviewing you older videos. Cheers!

Kudos to your parents, for an epic upbringing. I grew up fishing in the days when also called it catching. Now a veterinarian and weekend warrior fisherman. Fishing is too relieve stress, but like helping little animals feel less suffering. Since maybe 5th grade. Now days catching isn't 100%, but like you seeing whales, dolphins, seals, mantas, playing with whale sharks, turtles, all is good. Tighlines lines!
