The first two scary movies were written by Wayne’s brothers. After that the studio hired their own writers and producers. That’s why the movies were not as good after the sequel.

Scary movie 3 doesn’t get the credit it deserves. It’s like the “Batman: Forever” of the franchise. Eh but has great moments before it goes too much into immature shit in the fourth one (a la Batman and Robin). SM3 has different irrelevant humor i like more then the raunchy stuff in SM2 which I’m still okay with. It just was a shift from the first 2 so it’s not well received by fans

Scary movie 3 was my favorite because it was the funniest! I still quote it til this day... , but I do love them all! They are one of my favorite franchises and simply because Anna Faris is a comic genius!

She was literally one of the core reasons for the franchise success the moment they took her off it flopped even after 3 she was really the glue holding it her and Regina hall take them out and it was pretty mediocre... Don't even try and change my mind.

They showed the 5th one on TV recently so I figured I'd give it a try. I wasn't expecting much, but holy crap! Switched it off in about 10 minutes. Genuinely painful to watch.

I want to give Anna a hug! Andy is being so considerate to her, she loved that Chris guy, and now he's getting married to Terminator's daughter, and they all prob speak German together b/c Chris prob likes to show off his German skills with the Arnold.

I watch scary movie 3 almost every night ❤️

1 and 2 were classics no doubt. You can feel the Wayans brothers vibes on both since it was their movies. 3 was still pretty good to me because of their choice of actors and actresses so it made up for the writing change. 4 and 5 are just...no. I like 4 at times but not nearly as much as the others

We definelly need another one Scary Movie with Anna and the Wayans brothers the 2,3 and 1 were my favorites ,Please Anna Faris may you return to the franchise

Anna and Regina are irreplaceable. After looking back, those two together gave Scary movie that little bit of something that made it a perfect comedy. We live a very different age of direction.

She wasn't in the 5th one because they never contracted her to do it. Scary Movies 1-3 were produced and created by the Wayne Brothers after that they sold the rights to another studio in which they hired on their own team of directors, producers, writers, actors etc..

Scary Movie 5 doesn't exist. We simply call it "A haunted House"
