Plus gsp could only just take him down a couple times but hendricks would just get back up. Even when hendricks was gassed gsp would barely move him. I know hendricks was a high level wrestler but gsp was great too so I don't think it should have been so difficult for gsp to grapple him.

When he was juiced up he just had to touch someone for them to go unconscious, and he did that many times. It probably made him feel like a God. I remember in the gsp fight his corner saying "turn on Johnny vision! Use your Johnny vision!". They were no doubt eluding to the superhuman reflexes one gets from PED's. He likely vocalized to his coaches in camp how he can see strikes coming and easily avoid it, without being a kick boxing or boxing defensive stud. And he arrogantly named it like it's a gift he was born with. This time he no doubt felt terror and doubt in himself instead of invincibility. This was satisfying to watch for me because GSP, hit him with every thing he had and NOTHING phased him. No one before or since was able to stop his takedowns either. He would be nothing to GSP without the juice and i really wanted him to know that. Good thing god is not without a sense of justice and paulo was the karmic vehicle.

I could never get over the look in Johny Hendricks’ eyes. You could tell something was off. I don’t know if it was brain damage or what, but he never seemed all there, sadly.

To sum it up, he was fuelled by roids and burgers. His downfall is probably one of the worst in MMA.. he went from having a cannon of a left hand that would send dudes across the cage, to being a chubby average dude just trying to survive in the cage. His brutal loss to Costa was pretty ironic. He was the clean guy fighting a juiced up monster

It is interesting how many fighters career went down immediately after USADA got introduced in the UFC. Many fighters, including champions were probably on peds the whole time. The ufc fights these days are more fair than the old ufc.

I personally doubt it, since Vada tested GSP and he didn't test positive. He always spoke against the use of steroids, and didn't develop any significant change in his game in short time. Unlike fighters like Usman who suddenly develop cardio when they didn't have it, or power when they didn't have it.

GSP literally left MMA after his fight with Hendricks because he was adamant that at the time the drug testing methods were inferior and was one of the first fighters to push for USADA style testing which is much more stringent.

GSP fucking retired off of Hendricks’ betrayal in terms of drug testing. He wanted guarantee that all of his fights were strictly drug tested, and the UFC failed him here and he walked away until they do USADA drug testing.

Gsp needs to prove he could do it not on steroids
