Too many pastors and congregants wanted to be Holy Rollers (& 100% they read every MacArthur study Bible Calvinism has INFECTED the church... or WORKS righteousness sadly has infected the church more than the current virus 🦠 my previous church is sadly into this heresy 😭 I lost them all it’s so sad. The previous lead pastor grew up near your church in Winona Minnesota super duper nice guy but false gospel 🥺) and HATE that God justifies the ungodly. Why does God tell us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, If we are guaranteed Heaven? And To those that endure till the end will be saved? I'm just wondering.

What if we have idols in our life. will we still be saved, If we are guaranteed Heaven? Just things I wonder about. I DO BELIVE IN GRACE ALONE BY FAITH ALONE.

There's a distinction between salvation and service/fellowship. In 1 John 5:13 it says that you can know you have eternal life. Two things to point out. It says that you can know. Secondly, something that is eternal (aka everlasting) can never be lost. This is why you can know you have it. It's a one time transaction. If you could lose it then it couldn't be called eternal life. 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. We are given the new man/nature at the point of trusting Jesus Christ but we still have our old man/nature. We still have our free will and can choose to yield to either the old man or the new man. There is no guarantee that we will yield to the new man. Ephesians 4: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. The biblical meaning of repentance is a change of heart!!!.....EX: FROM LOVING SOMETHING TO HATING THE SAME THING GEN 6:6...And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

The word repent in Genesis 6:6 is not the same word. The Hebrew word in that verse is nāḥam and does mean to be sorry or regret. Again, the Greek word used in Corinthians and Acts is Metanoia: meta: to change. noia: the mind. It means to change the mind, to think differently. Every time the word repent is used in the Bible when referring to salvation from Hell, it is either the noun or verb form of this word, meaning to change your mind or thinking. To change your mind about where you are putting your trust. Instead of trusting in yourself to make it to heaven you trust in Christ's payment he made for you. 1 John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

@@jjsmoley You are right ,it's from loving yourself (selfrightouness ) to realizing you are a sinner on his way to hell (and deserving it)....then beleiving the gospel :1 corinth 15:1-4 (Jesus paid for you on the cross and was resurected )......then you call upon his name to save you ROMANS 10 :13...For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ..........like the thief did on the cross !!!

IF we are born-again on our way to Heaven why do we still have to battle spiritual waferier If we are guaranteed Heaven

As Christians we are supposed to share the Gospel with others to get as many saved as we can. However, Satan does not want this. So Satan tries everything he can to destroy our lives with sin and distract us from sharing the Gospel with others. We are given the new man/nature at the point of trusting Jesus Christ but we still have our old man/nature. We still have our free will and can choose to yield to either the old man or the new man. We can't lose our salvation but we can still choose to do sinful things. It is because Jesus only taught a new doctrine, the doctrine of Love, Jesus suffered death? Where then is the freedom of speech, thought and opinion?

Well, maybe some like me mock not Christianity, nor Jesus Christ, nor The Most High God YHWH; no. But I do mock so-called, self-proclaimed, self-righteous 'Christians' who abuse God's general principles and guidelines as revealed to Moses on how to be faithful children of Our Heavenly Father YHWH; by making these words into a weapon that betrays their original purpose to enlighten the path and teach the way, to instruct and guide; and distorting and deturpating those words to carry out their very own persecution and purge of those they hate (yes, that's the proper word, 'hate'). They ignore the central message of being humble, charitable, merciful, kind and gentle to even the least among us. Even to our enemies. That's why I say that the only true Christian died on the cross as The Lamb of God for the atonement of the (many, many, MANY) sins of humanity (past, then, and future). Humanity is made by prideful arrogant little humans with a God complex (the original sin, wanting to 'become like gods'). We can't, there's only ONE true God, The Most High God YHWH. Humans are ignorant fools and wolves in sheep's clothing.

Amen, much of what is called Christianity today is a religion, it is a false gospel, trust in Christ alone, who He is and what He has done.
