He did play well, but missed 47. g4!

I still remember following chess seriously from 2020.Very few players were known like Anand,pragyananda due to that chessbase india video,vidit due to samay raina stream and some players who made controversy with samay raina. Gukesh! From 2022, you started creating havoc in international chess . olympiad,Norway chess etc This guy came out of no where and imprinted his Creative style that too in a game that requires lots of patience,calmness,logical calculation.... man! What a rise to fame....

Bad luck Gukesh. Sure, you will become world champion one day. These types of bad lucks is common for every sport/game... Love you Raja...❤❤❤

Outplayed sure, but bad luck in a way bcoz he overlooked 3 fold repetition rule with Pragg, else he would have been clear winner on points - no need of this blitz games.

1st bad luck was three fold repetition against Pragg in a complete winning position, otherwise he will be in lead position but fought well in the final round and playoffs, keep going like this one day will achieve

20:24 If they played on, after ...Kf4, taking the rook immediately would not be the best idea . But this is much better, check first : 1...Kf4 2. Rf8+ Rf7 3.Bxf7 Nxf7 4.Rxf7+ Now white is rook and two pawns up and even amateur chess fan can convert it.

Regardless of the Victory or Loss, Gukesh has shown great Discipline which he is maintaining while approaching these tournaments in terms of Preparation and Resilience. Similar experience from most if not all our Indian Players and Participants(Especially the WACA Boys and Girls). Actually Gukesh lost the tournament against Pragg with the repetition incident. Please never go for repetition but always for another solution if you are in winning position. He must have taught: this is the second time! And not the third time. Otherwise he had never played the bishop. But even the second time repetition move is a bad chess solution, that thinking to get in time for move 40 cost him the tournament. All the other games: gukesh well played! So much evolution with last year Tata steel!

Why there's a man noting down the moves behind Wei? Can't the do it by looking it from live screen?

why gukesh lost simple he wasted 3 second in start time which became time pressure in vital time and blonder, result of over smart .

Gukesh played the best chess in this year. In this position he could have drawn the game but he blundered his rook because he was defensive and low in time.

A very biased commentary. Obviously Sagar is rooting for Gukesh - but he needs to be objective and give credit to Wen where its due .

Guki bhai itihash rach sakte hai. But, tie break me Wei Yi se haar gaye. Mai bahoot frustrate ho gya. Badi aarso baad Dil me ek umeed si jaag gyi thi,,,aur annt me sapna chur-chur ho gya.. Chalo koi baat nahi ...aap jaise mahan hastiyoo se phir kuch bada umeed rakhta hu...abki baar India ko jaroor Jita dena sir!👍
