I was so sad when my streak of 4 unbeaten streak got broken as a 500 elo player. Can't imagine what Pragg would have felt after 47 unbeaten streak got beaten 💔

Pragg did spoke about it after the tragic draw against gukesh at wijk. I think he said, "I'm mentally prepared and I know sooner or later this streak is going to end"

Its more important to play good chess, streaks will take care of themselves. Pragg unfortunately didn't play well in this game. In a way, its good that his streak is over now. He can start fresh and play free chess. Without worrying about losing. Good timing too, going into the candidates.

We should train our minds not to develop attachment to any material thing (even our family members). Because every material thing ends one day. One day we have to lose all material things.

Streak doesn't matter, one should not get pressurized with such things, its just a part of game and bouncing back strongly is life. We should not exaggerate that streak bla bla..... What's important is to win titles and for that one should focus on each game to achieve that , everything else is distration.

Not gonna lie, i hate the weak, lame, half-assed handshake players exchange nowadays. A good fist bump is better, the clash shows intent, even if it's a weak one. But these kind of "finger touching" and palm rubbing is more erotic than it is a gentleman's sign of defeat.
