They ruined all characters involved in this mess. Phase bore cant end quick enough. Political messaging needs to be driven out and these nothing character's who are pure tokens to ideology need to be dumped. The Avengers had a ready made squad with all the diversity checks ready and a great coupke of movies already done with GOTG but the leftists hate Pratt and Saldana.

I agree Marvel did a great job with the character of Wanda. Elizabeth Olsen kills it in the role.

the acting is good, but the characterisation is awful ffs. stop defending this absolute dogshit writing and plot.

The intro is so true, thinking of the idea of Rogers and Stark being gone is crazy. It feels like they actually passed in our world. Corny but true

Totally! They were some of the best characters in the MCU.

Marvel and feige did a mistake not giving Wanda her own movie with her in the title. She is super popular and i bet you if she wasn't in doctor strange it wouldn't have been so successful

I feel like her having the very first MCU show is even better (not counting DareDevil etc). She basically had like 4 hours of content all based on her. But yes, she still needs her own solo big film!!

She's getting it reportedly, and it will probably release in 2024-25, and may start shooting 2023-2024. And it's reportedly going to be based on The Children's Crusade!! And we will see Doctor Doom!

This video is a must-watch before watching Multiverse of Madness so that those people who only joins the bandwagon of watching the new marvel movie can understand why Wanda is Wanda in MoM...

wanda has become my favorite character and this video really highlights why i love her so much

Elizabeth Olsen is the perfect actress to play the role of Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch, everytime she moves her hands, you can't help but look at them with astonished jaw-dropped amazement. Her hands have different fan base and along with her crown ( WandaVision to DS2MOM ) like Doctor Strange cloak of levitation. The very first time I've seen her character in Age of Ultron was the start of my obsession of her being Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch and to my knowledge was a big impact from the comics : House of M that made me adored her more ( truly there's a lot of wonderful characters on marvel universe comics but this chaos magic was a different interest for me ) and she's such a great along with the people bTs ( behind the scenes ) that were involved who built and made the Scarlet Witch / Wanda Maximoff characters and made life to it to the big screen and the tv screens or phone screens. She's such a Wandaful / Wonderful fascinating character that needs more appreciations.

If Wanda/ Scarlett Witch character had been removed from the film altogether Would it have been a good movie? Who knows? But Making Dr Strange a side character in his own movie??

Of course here is doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness throwing all of that Ark and character growth out of the window and turning wanda into one-dimensional villain but to be honest she has the best scenes in The Multiverse of Madness movie and she's easily the most interesting character in it

Well this didn't age well, with her becoming a villain :)) I meaaan yeah, she has a good heart and good intentions throughout the MCU until now, and now with the Darkhold's influence it's understandable that she would go to any lengths to get her kids back, but still.. she isn't one of the most heroic characters in the MCU, definitely an anti-hero

Just think. We might not even have Scarlet Witch if it wasn't for Joss Whedon.

I think my favorite part is that MARVEL doesn’t constrain itself to things like character consistency or moral implications in storytelling. Wanda was at her best when she kidnapped 3000 innocent people to fulfill her fantasy and then left without any consequences for her crimes. Truly astounding writing!! 🙌 MARVEL always breaks new ground and all their stories are perfect 🤩

I think you didn't understand the plot Wanda is not hero anymore but not villan either What do you think what she should have done Leaving a place and goes where nobody lives is the best thing she had done A god level character with ability to Change anything at her will and emotions do you really think if she surrender herself to the police and everything will be normal Yes this story is complicated for someone like you She is the example of Every human beings stage where he or she just wants to be happy but like her we don't have powers like her that's why you are taunting sarcastically

Something you Got to keep in mind is a difference between consequence and repercussion, One could argue she didn’t experience any repercussion but that doesn’t mean that she didn’t experience consequences, consequences can be positive neutral or negative, and a consequence of her actions for example is everyone in town hating her, living with the guilt for the rest of her life, and losing the love of her life three times even if two of those times wasn’t in the show.

(Note: these guys thought the first three episodes were neat and good, but then unfortunately the rest of the series came out)

slight Dr. strange 2 spoiler this is an amazing video and proves the point that I see when it comes toe Wanda. it just breaks my heart to see all this character development and how tragic her story is, to them see Dr.Strange 2 and all of that thrown out the damn window as sam raimi didn't even watch WandaVison to know who Wanda became. just turned into a psycho villain that doesn't truly mesh with the previous establishment of her character. I wish I never saw that movie and the character assassination to Wanda Maximoff 😡😡😭😭

That “he didn’t even watch WandaVision” thing doesn’t make sense though, as the show wasn’t even done yet when they were making MoM. And Raimi communicated heavily with writers/creators of WV, so he knew what happened, both of those things were confirmed by Elizabeth Olsen herself

Raimi knew what happened in the show, and had likely watched scenes, he was probably on the WV set at some point, he just never watched the show in it’s release form

I love Wanda as well, and have since AoU, she’s my second favorite current MCU character, behind Spidey, I just think the villain turn worked really well. And Lizzie’s performance was just golden. But I’m not trying to say you have to like it, or force my opinion on you, I’ve just seen people say that a lot over the last few days, and it kinda gets me fired up.😂 I’ll work on that lol. You really should have an essay responding to the Movie Cynic take on Wanda while a sympathetic character is kinda a pos in hindsight post MOM.

Poor, Liz, she’s such a good actor, but was givens such bad material to work with in Dr. Strange 2! Her character was so well written prior, but they really did her dirty in MOM!

great acting bad character with inconsistent writing. especially after strange 2. They seem to want to somehow justify her psychopathic behavior with a played out grief trope. Just because we understand thanos motivations doesn't make him any less horrible. Same applies to wanda.
