I would have liked to hear actual benefits of plane in use.
clickbait title: "Why use an 18th Century Wood Plane?" only answer to the title question in the video: "i like the shape of it"
Is the Ear just to tell plane is never used?.. To use it, First Tune Up is to beat the ear off with a hammer so it fits a hand - ' never looks as good after. Germans did it better with a horn. Interesting, that Plane Iron looks same as Japanese planes. You have nice videos, and articles. - Thanks
How can i trust what im hearing from Bill Anderson? Where does he get his education? Is he a wood working historian, and how?
He gave a lot of information about the plane but not why to use an 18th century plane.
