Finally someone who understands quality movies.

This movie was the best out of all mainly because you could actually understand what the hell was going on, not just exploding dirt everywhere. The first film gave me chills down my spine. The fifth one was just a terrible movie. Also the first movie actually had some comedy and emotion.

"Sir, you gotta ask yourself: What would Jesus do?" Might just be the best line in the whole Transformers series

I think the only reason the first one worked was because of two factors; One was because it was the first live action film, they didn't want to make too many chances and played it safe by keeping the story simple. Second is because Steven Spielberg kept Michael Bay on a short leash. Compared to the sequels it had more story structure, plot points that made sense and far less white sparkler explosions. By Revenge of the Fallen, the leash was gone (plus a writer's strike) and it showed!

Yesssss! I still get goosebumps watching this film. Its simplicity is what makes it sooo good!

I'm going to straight up say it Arrival to Earth is one of the best cinematic moments in any movie the music the build up just everything everytime I watch that singing I always get goosebumps!

It's that awesome movie that you watch on Friday night where you bring your friends and order pizza.

I'm glad that this video exists, although you only focused on Sam and Bumblebee's relationship, I think there's more to it.

There might be some hope in the next movie. It's going to be directed by Travis Knight, who previously directed Kubo and the Two Strings. Kubo had a simple story and if there's one thing that movie really nails, it's heart. The relationship between Kubo and his parents were so heartwarming. It's also going to be a smaller scale movie with a smaller budget. So, I guess there's a chance for it to be a simple story about a girl and her car (Hailee Steinfeld was casted as main character).

Your videos are honestly so well-thought out and fun to watch. I love how you dig deep into a lot of these mainstream films since some people think that just b/c they're not arthouse masterpieces they don't deserve discussion and analysis. Great job, keep these vids coming.

I was actually watching this the other day, and I realized that I could clearly remember watching this movie for the first time when I was 5. I was at my friends birthday, and in his basement he had this huge tv, it was like

I think it was just the pacing about the 5th movie that has some puzzled. Because Mark Wahlberg's character's story is actually intriguing. They tried to pay homage to Sam's relationship with Mikaela in the 5th with Mark and Laura Haddock, but the pacing could have been done better. Which is why people want that Director's cut. They cut 40 minutes from The Last Knight. Age Of Extinction was paced better because it was closer to 3 hrs in run time.

And then, in December of 2018, we got a film with another wonderful, simple story.
