@@SherpasDay ooooh Jamie leave the tree up till Valentines Day or St. Patrick's Day, put hearts on it and then green clovers, etc. Closer to when the weather will get brighter. I've done that. LOL. At least leave it up till the 8th, Monday. I know mind my own business. You haven't said anything of my making Yorkshire pudding in the States, 2nd time didn't have the right pans but was ok, used pork loin roast drippings maybe better with a beef. But was good and different. That is what you had for your family, right, iti's what inspired me. And everyone should add another 5 stars total of 10 for the kind way you asked for that to be done Right. I a small female was home less, with relatives who I always gave my time off to as a dutiful "daughter", niece, ... cousin" But with that NOT returned, it seemed they too were all in, when the destruction of me began well in the middle of it, my decent car was taken because I said out loud I need to get tires, not for anyone else to do anything, but off it went to a women with 3 boys to different men, and I got a wicked looking pimp from the wrong side of the tracks auto, even the ceiling ripped out of it. And the "judging" me on good behaviors has been wild, suppose I have been very discerning and it has kept me safe, but there are those who don't want that for some, don't get near gov. bureaucrat agencies seems to be the more criminal lot, that truth is not popular, and THE 5 denominations I've always associated with Family diversity in religions, all decided long ago That I should not have ANYTHING, managed to get all As 2 Bs bus. law, accountings, statistics,...h.r., ...and an early promotion in what many think a "man's" industry, I was so good the owner of that huge company came to meet me and bought me lunch in the cafeteria, MANY didn't like those things. 16+ years it's been on: "we have to block you", "whatever we can accomplish here we are going to make stick" >>>> my few treasured belonging stolen, time, opportunities, and the house I was dreaming of with a yard for me, my dog and to have my family reunions dissed. And now "you should be used to it by now, we all want those things" ... and oh no, "it's in your head" the tactics used. It's not alright. I even had tried to have a yt channel made the mistake of using my name, showing these people some in gov housing NOT NICE is an understatement, so I got foul comments vulgar comments. So, I get up here every day, looking for away away they might let me have a job that would also keep me here, telling me what I had worked myself up to was wrong... Because I am nice, kind, they like to tell themselves I'm ok but they have lied about so much MANY theyes, they can tell themselves this one too, many don't want to be around someone they have destroyed others are so arrogant about it wth their enjoyment of it. Recently had a man tell me he was sorry I was mistreated, a woman I told of that, said Don't tell people, they don't want told on, I said I didn't someone must have bragged to him. But he didn't care and could help me with a career where I could buy the house, replace and restore stolen and damages. I guess I knew what you spoke of today and it is why I thought I could ask you how you got such a lovely place with the yard and gating as well. Again, Best in the year 2024 and beyond. They have stopped the dastardly deeds, figuring they have indeed made this stick and if I can get out, it will only be if someone pulls me in/out.

as the 2nd daughter, middle child followed by the "we got our boy" 4 yrs later with me as that band leader, I am always amazed that the world wherever around me I get the middle child acts, oh anything is fine for her. nothing for her is great. From missionaries saying you were pretty, we'll change that"... like being shoved into a brick wall constantly. Oh I wrote some children's books not even a relative bought one, while I was, still am going 100 different directions a day in this giant plastic/rubber bag, even in my sleep. As a prude leaning girlie girl, I was glad there were some homeless men leaned a bit towards decency when I was homeless, slept near the police station for safety. No I don't think a gov. housing apt. concentration camp is good for me but so many do so I am out of the way.

It's hard not to be anxious when you don't have the stability of a constant roof over your head. I'm really happy that you guys have been able to transition, not only to someplace stable, but somewhere so beautiful that's perfect for you and Sherpa.

If people are still unhappy with delivery or cost of the book, here's a suggestion: change the rating to reflect how much you like the book, but if the book cost/delivery bother you, add a comment on whatever site or delivery service used and the problem. 🤷‍♂️

I'm so happy you both got to get the forever home in 2023. Its been a joy to see both of you settle into proper home and see Sherpa embrace his garden with joy. Jaime, sorry for my cell is gone crazy and dying too. Keith and I understand what you have been going through. We have been homeless for 4yrs. Retirement has been horrific 😢. Wish I could hug you and Sherpa, so happy for you getting a home. Keith and I have been married 37yrs and have rented homes. Now we are in an apartment and we shall see. The state is giving us problems getting Nikolas care for Habilitation and respite. Nikolas has Downs and severe Autism. My baby Cookie died at the end of Nov. My heart is lost and crying. Cookie was a Great dog. Everything you have wanted in a dog and more she was. Her last day here, she came up to me all sad and my heart was broken 💔. I didn't realize she would be dying that night. To think I rescued Cookie from a dog fighting ring in Phoenix. I never thought my life would change for much Love and happiness with her. I adopted her by chance. It is very cold 🥶 here and snow tomorrow, UGH!! Keith loves snow and me it's okay but not a fan of ice!!! I am from Long Island and have endured alot of blizzards. Give Sherpa our Love. We are extremely HAPPY for you and Sherpa. Joan and Keith ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

We saved and scrimped to outright pay cash for our forever home. In the meantime we lived in a 5th wheel trailer in RV parks whilst hubby worked in engineering and me at RV parks in reservations, etc... usually got our lot rent, propane and electric paid for as part of my salary. That is how we managed to pay cash for 5 acres and home. We live frugally now, but save for what we want or need. Have running off of the finger ,mouth, today. Happy New Year Jamie and Sherpanater and the group.

Just wanted to let you know that I did give the kitties a cuddle from you at new years eve 😊 I was stunned and proud of them when the clock turned 00:00, it was the first new year with just the two of them. The noise was deafening, but, they did not panick at all ❤ I was amazed, because before, my cats would always panick. Maybe the first two years they panicked just because the others did? But not this time, so that was such a relief. Have a great day 🧡🙋🏼‍♀️

You could keep the xmas tree up til Groundhogs Day or even April Fools 😂, either way it's great you can just relax instead of stressing about where to go! You have an actual home! ❤❤❤

Gave the book 5 stars. With the comment telling people not to buy from anywhere but Barnes and Noble. Even then it ended up costing me over $80 Australian for 2 books. WELL WORTH THE COST. The book is beautiful. These glimpses into your life with Sherpa will be even more special. We had to let our boy go today. He was in too much pain and was struggling to stand.

Has Michigan gotten any snow? It’s been like a roller coaster here in Tennessee. One day it’s 56, the next day it’s 38. It was 65 on Christmas Eve. Wacky weather for sure.

@@suellenspencer-eb2nv One of my nieces married a man from Columbus OH and he has family at the tip of the mitten. They also have a cabin there and my niece says it’s beautiful. I love snow but unfortunately we just don’t get much anymore. But we sure have more than enough heat and humidity in the summer, it’s brutal. I don’t live too far from the Smoky Mountains so that’s a good place to go and cool off. I’m sure Sherpa would love to find some snow, bless his fluffy heart.

So many of us take our constant homes and "January" for granted. Thank you for sharing your story and we wish you all the best of blessings in 2024.

I am so over the moon happy for you and Sherpa!!! it's very evident just how much you both love your new home. Especially Sherpa and his yard. I always get a chuckle when you call him in for the night and he has that look of "Oh Dad... do I have to" LOL 🤣🤣😂😂

I recall your van living days and throughout the years since, it makes my heart ache that Sherpa only now got his real home so late in his life. It warms my soul seeing him loving his yard, all his, now finally two soft beds rather than the floor to sleep on , a warm place in winter and a cool place in summer, I just hope he gets to enjoy this new home life for many , many years.

The video at 1.47 shows some incredible clouds. They are in the distance as if to illustrate that there is a blue sky above you now. I was almost homeless due to a Nursing home sueing me. You and Sherpa deserve to have such a special Christmas this year with blue skies and more adventures on the way! Happy New Year to the both of you! 🙏🎆🌈

Happy New Year Sherpa & Jamie, I don't know if you are aware, but ASH is amazing for the garden, so if you want to grow a vegetable patch or flowers or just feed the grass, it's high in minerals. My Grampy always put his on the garden especially his veg patch.

That’s true. Dad and Mom always put the fireplace ashes on their vegetable garden. It sure helped grow some delicious tomatoes.

Jamie, I thought about you on the first of January and was so happy you didn’t have to worry about being homeless. You’ve done wonders with your new home and I can’t wait to see what you have planned for the spring and summer. I know Sherpa is enjoying his beautiful yard and he doesn’t even have to worry about the mowing. 😉 I’ll leave you a 5-star review for the book. I ordered mine from Walmart and got a great price and fast shipping. I’ve got Cornwall on my weather app and I see you’re getting rain and wind. Hope Sherpa’s fluff doesn’t get too wind blown. @@lindakaymills8746 Sherpa and Key are getting their fluff wet today but it’s still not cold. They would have loved to be in Nebraska. Lori said they had about a foot of snow recently.

Ive been blessed to have followed Sherpa and you and best friend K'eyush for several years. You guys make me want a Husky or Malmute. The only problem is I live in Oklahoma where summer temperatures have been known to reach 108°f. Too hot for Key or Sherpa. Just on question, do you ever call Sherpa Your Lordship?

You warned us not to buy your book from Amazon. I got mine from Barnes and Nobel. It arrived 2 days after ordering. I am very happy with it. I do wish it was available in hardcover. It is a beautiful book. Everyone should get at least one. ❤❤

Jamie since you don't use your dining room to eat; you should get yourself a big comfy chair to put in there. You could then sit in front of a nice fire on the cold days, with your tea.

I hope Jamie realizes how much happiness and laughter his videos bring to all of us. I live alone and look forward to his videos to keep me entertained. I wish I could travel. I’d be on the next flight to England to give Jamie and Sherpa big hugs. Love from Tennessee. 💕
