I’ve been saying for years man love to have a title but don’t understand the requirements of the title, and people believe whatever sounds good without seeking the Most High. I tell my friend every chance I get, that just because a person has what I call one of these heavyweight church titles, it doesn't mean that they are any more spiritual than a layperson. Most of these folks are nothing but charlatans who think they deserve to be pampered and worshipped by other people.

Study the Word for yourself, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.. Yes we need elders and fellowship with other believers, but still study for yourself..

Amen, Corey seems like he never study ephesians 4:11, if Corey is correct we have no pastors , teachers, and evangelist today why I am saying this, ephesians 4 :11 says he himself some to be apostles, some to be teachers, some to be prophets , some to be pastors and some to be evangelist. Ephesians 4:11 it didn't says some to be pastors, some to be teachers and some to be evangelist and exclude apostles and prophets. The Brother erroneously attempts to separate James and Barnabas from the legitimate grace they had as Apostles, by stating that they weren’t of the same ilk as the 12 Foundational Apostles of the Lamb. This is necessary for him to do in order to propagate the error in believing that Paul is the last Apostle. That is his premise, so the approach to scripture is to minimize the ministry of those who served as apostles with the foundational apostles to maintain his position. 1. Can you provide scripture where Paul, Peter, or any other of the 12+2 made distinctions between what type of Apostles they were versus a Barnabas, James, Apollos, etc.? 2. Acts 14:14, Luke makes no distinction between Barnabas and Paul regarding their Apostleship 3. Galatians 1:19, Paul makes no distinction between James and the other Apostles. 4. Romans 16:7, Paul states that Andronicus and Jumia were of note among the Apostles without making a distinction between them and the foundational Apostles. Attempting to make distinctions between the first 12 Apostles of the Lamb and those Apostles who came after the Pentecost is has no scriptural basis. Qualifications: The Brother attempts to present qualifications of an Apostle and use this strawman to deny Apostles existing today. First qualification he provides is sighting of the resurrected Christ Jesus. This is erroneous because it is obvious that he hasn’t done a diligent search of scripture. He is confusing the CONVERSION of Saul with the COMMISSIONING of Paul. Acts 9 presents the conversion of Paul, which he a sighting of Jesus on the road to Damascus. This was his conversion. There is nowhere in this passage where Jesus tells Paul that he is an Apostle. This was revealed to Ananias in a dream. It wasn’t until Acts 13 where Paul and Barnabas are appointed as Apostles by the Holy Ghost, by the laying on of hands of the prophets and teachers. Further, those who are explicitly named in scripture as Apostles, namely Andronicus, Junia, James, Apollos, Barnabas, were NEVER stated to have seen the resurrected Christ as a qualification of their apostleship, and it didn’t seem to be an issue with them being recognized among the foundational apostles. The scriptures he uses to support this notion are Acts 1:22, Acts 22:14, 1 Cor. 9:1. Let’s look at those: Acts 1:22 states: “Beginning from the baptism of John, unto the same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with of his resurrection.” Totally taken out of context. Firstly, the context of the passage is that the disciples (120) are in the upper room and prepared to choose a replacement for Judas. The passage is stating that the qualification of the one that would replace Judas would have to be one that was with them from the baptism of John to the ascension of Christ. A Day One. When the verse says that the choice would be ordained to be a witness with them of Jesus’ resurrection, didn’t mean that they would have to have been an eyewitness, but rather this would be the message they would preach with them-the Resurrected Christ. Act. 22:14 states: “And he said, “The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see the Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth…” Again, the brother takes the passage out of context. The context of the scripture is that Paul is making a defense for himself to the Jews, and he is speaking of his conversion. He isn’t making a listing of qualifications to be an Apostle, but rather quoting what Ananias had told after healing his blindness. 1 Cor. 9:1 state: “Am I not an Apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? Are not ye not my work in the Lord?” This is not an exhaustive list of qualifications of Apostleship. Paul is merely making a case of why he has the right to say he is an apostle with the 12. At that time there were those who questioned his authority considering the other apostles. If the brother would have actually gone to the next verse, he would have received Paul’s qualification for being an Apostle: “If I be not an Apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: FOR THE SEAL OF MINE APOSTLESHIP ARE YE IN THE LORD.” It was the fruit he bared, the labor and work to establish the Kingdom of God among the Gentiles and the congregations that were birthed and matured under his leadership. His next attempted qualification of being specifically hand-picked by Jesus and sent is nullified in Acts 13, where the Holy Ghost separated Paul and Barnabas for the work. Matthias was not chosen by Christ, he was chosen by the casting of lots [Acts 1:22-26]. So, by his own attempt at listing qualifications, Matthias would be disqualified due to not being appointed by Jesus, and the Bible silent on his working of miracles. He then goes on to state that a qualification of their Apostleship was that they worked miracles. This I can agree, but the working of miracles is a grace that follows those that BELIEVE, not just Apostles. Miracles are always intimately connected with the spread of the gospel of the Kingdom of God in territories where Gods wants to show forth his power and glory. This leads up to his hermeneutical butchering of Ephesians 4:11. He presents Ephesians 4:11 in the Greek and points out ONE SOLITARY WORD, “gave” and says that the term is past tense, which means that the grace of Apostle has been permanently closed. We didn’t need the Greek to know that “gave” is past tense. It has the same grammatical position in the English. His error is faulty hermeneutics. He doesn’t understand the context of scripture and isolates one word and pours his own meaning into the verse. Let’s start 4 verses earlier to get the context: 7. But to EVERY ONE OF US is GIVEN a measure of grace, according to the measure of the GIFT OF CHRIST. 8. Wherefore he says, When he ascended upon high, he led captivity captive, AND GAVE GIFTS UNTO MEN. 9. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10. He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) These four verses lead up to verse 11. Paul is speaking (at that time) in the PRESENT TENSE to the congregation at Ephesus. If Paul was the last Apostle, then verse 11 should be rewritten. The GIFT OF CHRIST, as it relates to this passage of scripture is the ministry graces of apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists. The first word in Verse 11 is “AND” [kai in the Greek], which is a CONJUNCTION. It connects us to the verse before it, which means you can’t just start at verse 11 and try to get the context of the scripture there. Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers, and Evangelists are GIFTS OF CHRIST that he set in the Church when ascended. The understanding is that Jesus, himself was all of them in ONE MINISTRY, and His ministry was so vast and great, that when he discontinued his earthly mission and ascended to commence His heavenly work, He divided his ministry into five functions and gave a measure of that grace (HIS GIFTS-Gifts and Grace are the same words: Charis [Greek]) to the Church. Some he gave the grace of Apostle, some the grace of Prophet, some the grace of Pastor, some the grace of Teacher and some the grace of the Evangelist. He set these graces in the Church at His ascension. The reason the text uses the PAST TENSE “gave” is that Paul is writing a letter regarding a PAST EVENT of Christ’s ascension. More practically speaking, if I GAVE (past tense) you a gift last week, what about the word gave concludes that there are no more gifts to come? Further, attempting to go to the Greek and state that the term, “endoken” is an aorist, so it means past is disingenuous. The definition of an aorist is: “A verb tense used by the writer to present the action of a verb as a “snapshot” event. The verb’s action is portrayed simply and in summary fashion without respect to any process. In the indicative mood, the aorist usually denotes past time, while an aorist participle usually refers to antecedent time with respect to the main verb.” There is NOTHING about the use of an aorist tense that denotes FINALITY or ending in any manner. It only denotes that the action happened in the past, with no respect to whether the action is continued. While I can agree that there are those who call themselves apostles who are not, we cannot use a dislike for certain individuals, corrupted exegesis, and poor hermeneutics to say that there are no apostles or prophets present in the Church today.

A word to Gino from a real Apostle: "For we do not presume to rank or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves; but when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they have no understanding." (2 Corinthians 10:12) Gino has boldness about scripture but, not rightly dividing. He constantly is making a business of stating a claim to what authority or some office he holds; self taught. This alone is enough, is enough! Appreciate you again my brother laying out another one. It's encouraging keeping responsibility only to the scriptures' and not with everything else. Right on!

Do the scripture not say in the last days that he will pour out his spirit and sons and daughters will Prophesy Acts 2:17-18 God doesn’t changed but I don’t think that it’s the way people today boast to make themselves something that they are not. There are many apostles in the body of Christ if you are sent by God to preach the God but you are not equal to the apostles of the Bible and it’s totally different because none of those offices make you superior.

You know, I was hesitant to bring up the fact that the majority of the thumbnails were of black people. But it is hard to deny. I’m glad you touched on it! In addition Alan Parr, on a recent podcast, was addressing the problem of couples co-leading their churches. Most of the thumbnails for his show were black too. Makes me concerned where so much faulty teaching came from. I wonder how many false teachers throughout history didn’t want to study the Word and were more interested in “hearing” from the Lord personally or through special signs and wonders. It would appear our culture fosters a heart that seeks (demands?) to be special and set apart. Thanks for your insights on this.

It may be that the pentecostal church was one of the first that allowed blacks and whites to worship together? William Seymour and the Azuza street revival was one of the first that wasn't segregated. That's just my theory though I could be wrong

Very interesting point. It seems like most of these people calling themselves Apostles are black. But on the other hand most of the false prophets are white, such as saying that God said Trump would win the election. In my opinion in these last days Satan is deceving people right and left, and if you don't keep your mind stayed on Jesus you will be deceived. Just a thought.

I would caution we not limit ourselves, in concern that we wrongly cast judgement and the same time we not be sucked into worshiping a personality rather than God thropugh Jesus Christ. My attempt to clarify using your examples, I personally think of Joel Osteen as more of a motivational speaker who is a Christian in preacher form. I also see, and in this case even broaden the scope, that T.D. Jakes is a preacher who has also made it as a businessmen. In the case of Jakes I saw an interview with him in which he talked about keeping his business inerests seperate from his preaching. Please, understand, I'm not trying to begin an argument. I do not know what many do outside public view. All I know is even with those I would consider false prophets I must take caution in not judging least I be judge myself. I think in he long run we may actually agree. Thank you for your comment and reading my relpy. Let's go be a blessing.

Hey brother, I just started watching your channel!!! And I must say you are sharing the truth of God based on the Holy Scriptures!!! I am very impressed and I’m learning a lot. I watched Gino in the past and thought he was legit until he stated he was an Apostle and he didn’t believe in the Trinity…I was very confused until I kept reading scripture for myself and realized that God’s word is the Truth! Matt. 10.2..Mk. 6.30...Luke. 6.13...Jesus NAMED THE APOSTLES...LK.9.10..17.5...22.14.....ACTS.1.2....1.26...2.37...plus 21 other times in ACTS....plus the main Pauline epistles....and Peter's second epistle....3 times in Revelations...and in Revelations 21.14.... And the wall of the city had twelve foundations and in them the names of the TWELVE APOSTLES OF THE LAMB. Of course in the text of the book of ACTS...The 120 in the upper room which included the 12, plus another mention of 70 more. T Point is that the people didn't name themselves anything. The apostles were the foundation builders...Acts.2.4...And they continued daily in the Apostles' doctrine, and fellowship and in breaking of bread and in prayers. That's my biblical case.What's yours?

From what I read there's nothing in scriptures, that even suggest, that there's no longer apostles. The need for apostles, preachers, messengers, are needed now more than ever. We don't have time for, jealousy and hate, Gino Jennings speaks directly from holy scriptures. You can fool nobody with ministry, trinity, and old men tradition religions. If your teaching is truth than challeng Gino Jennings at your choice. I love when scriptures prove men wrong way of teaching false doctrines... remember you brought this to your followers attention. They want to see a debate, and let's the holy scriptures be the mediator.

You cannot be an apostle if the foundation has already been laid. You can claim that Jesus came to you and sent you but you can’t get passed not having any miracles.

You are right. It's sad that so many Christians do not read the Bible daily, or in many cases read it at all. They let someone else tell them about what it says. Its important to read, study and ask the Holy Spirit for clarity and understanding. Seek and ye shall find...

He teaches heresy denies the essentials they believe you have to be baptized in Jesus name only with the evidence of speaking in tongues, if not you’re not saved thats heretical, some of his teachings about the thief on the cross are pretty far out there, and of course his denial of the Trinity being a modalist which is obviously an old heretical teaching that has been debunked by the church many years ago, it’s all self centered ego and legalistic teaching trying to disguise itself as truth. And all his debates were pretty sad hermeneutics, exegetical fallacy many of his ideas read into the text arrogant responses especially how he cuts off his challenger does not allow him to get many words in nor to finish his points straight bullying and speaking loud while they clap and cheer him on like if under a spell. I have never attended his church.. but I have been following him for going on,13 years now.. and I was very heavily into his preaching and teaching until I started realizing he twist lots of scriptures that are plain and straight forward.... and started paying attention to his personality and how he loves to belittle people... even Williams.. but what really got to me is how View Jesus Christ....... he said Jesus ended at the Cross... out side of the whole thing about Jesus Christ he preach slot of truth but he also preach lots of lies........ but it took me a long time to start seeing all of that...... and fell away from him about 2 years ago.....

So do you actually follow along in your Bible when he gives book, chapter, verse? Do you agree that God's understand is not yours? Neither is his thoughts our thoughts or his ways our ways? This man has done nothing but give you scripture and all y'all do is talk bad about him. Minster Williams is reading straight from the scriptures. So how can you say it's Pastor's teaching when he didn't say anything, but what is written.

The Twelve Apostles were basically superheroes before the secular concept of a superhero existed. These men who call themselves 'apostles' today have nowhere near the power that the original twelve had. Additionally, these so-called 'apostles' actually differ in doctrine quite a bit. On one end, you have Gino 'Jesus was God in a flesh-suit' Jennings, while Paula White and the others on here are all believe in the Trinity. Then you get T.D. Jakes who flip-flops on his Godhead stance depending on what day of the week it is. If God sent all of them, then don't you think that they would all preach the same thing? Hey, I don't know where that came from. I've been a Christian for 29 years. There are still apostles to this day. Everybody can't be a apostle! God does not change. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever more. I don't know where he gets it that you had to have seen Jesus in person, in the flesh 2000 years ago. People will believe what they want. If you don't know, even today we have true apostles. In Ephesians 4 11-12 says "It was he who"gave gifts"; these gifts are continuous. If you want to say he gave apostles in the past, what about the the prophets, evangelists, pastors and preachers? Paul talks of pastors, how they should be and so on. He himself was an apostle who came later after Jesus left for heaven.

In the first chapter, we hear Peter state the necessity of choosing someone who had been present with them during Jesus’s ministry, up to the point of his death. So Yes, we know that Mathias was the one that was chosen because he was a direct witness of Jesus’s walk on earth, of his death and resurrection

Some these people calling themselves Apostles are great speakers, but the book of Acts clearly showed the Apostles were identified by Signs and Wonders. Ask yourselves are there great miracles and healings in there ministries.

We eat off Jesus Christ not the tree of good and evil because knowledge gets us just that . Book knowledge is getting many in trouble. We eat off our living God

For over 20 years I've said there was only the original 12 plus Paul.

An Apostle. Is a missionary like Andrew he went to Greece to.preach the gospel.Thomas went to india and China matthias went to libya and Egypt Paul went to spain and italy preaching ACTS 2:38.

Like says (Pastor) is a specific office & carries its own authority & comes with its own requirements in scripture. For instance according to scripture you must be a (man) to be a pastor. If you study church history you will see no one... not a soul, was calling themselves an Apostle from after Apostil John's death. So that means, after let's say 70-80 AD until the late 1980's no one had the audacity to use that title (outside the catholic church). There are church writings throughout the ages that can attest to this. It wasn't until The "new apostolic reformation" NAR said God wanted to bring the title back to usher in the end times.

I love what you did with defining the term apostle as a messenger or someone who was sent. I think that is a beautiful way to start the conversation. As I understand it, someone could use the word apostle to mean messenger, but the office of Apostle given to Peter, Paul, and the other ancient Apostles has a more specific meaning that I think you pointed out pretty well. In fact, I was intrigued with the three requirements you gave for someone to hold the office of Apostle of Jesus Christ. As someone from a different Christian background who has studied other major world faith traditions, I just want to insert a personal belief of my own. I don't mean to be rude or controversial, especially since this is not my KZread channel and I appreciate the work gone into creating this video. My belief is that God is not dead, silent, or done with His holy work. You all probably believe this too. I want to add a more specific belief to what I mean. I believe it was Peter in Acts 3:20-21 who said, "And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began." As with most scriptural prophecies, there are probably multiple correct meanings to "the times of restitution of all things". I have come to believe that the restitution or restoration of Christ's ancient Church has begun and one of the amazing gifts God has restored to the earth are true Apostles chosen by Jesus Christ and ordained with God's power and authority (Mark 3:14-15). I believe these Apostles were chosen by Jesus, not themselves. I have seen how God is once again very involved with His children on earth. These miracles have and do happen, and the evidence of restored authority is there. Though, I must add that not all miracles are something you can just share in national news media due to their sacred nature. I have been taught that like Mary, it is good to keep some special things in your heart to ponder and keep sacred. Now, I don't expect you to believe me, yet I don't want to shy away from the idea of sharing personal beliefs with good people of all faiths. I love interfaith work and try hard to always respect and understand the beliefs of others. I understand that some reading this will just say my belief that God has once again called prophets and apostles is ridiculous or blasphemy. But if you have made it this far in the post (I know it's kind of long for a KZread comment section) please know I would love to hear your honest thoughts on God and His work.

The Holy Spirit sends out ministers and empowers them and he is still here commissioning the Evangelists, Teachers, Pastors, Prophets and Apostles. Using the word GAVE is just the starting point of what God did at the foundation and that's why it's past tense. I have seen people who were called as an evangelist taking the role of pastor and they have revival services regularly but Jesus did not equip them to care for the everyday needs of the church. here are some Apostles for you Smith Wigglesworth, David Wilkerson, C.M.Ward and John G Lake for starters. I guess the Apostles are Full Gospel empowered by the Holy Spirit in our day. They raised the dead and changed the world in our day. The Apostle is not well known until after they are gone from us.

He claims the anointing of Samuel, Ezekiel, Elijah, Elisha, John the Baptist and Paul the Apostle. Robin says, he is holding back the antichrist. The antichrist can't come until all his (Bullock's) prophecies are fulfilled. Let me not forget he's been to heaven a number of times and seen many throne rooms. When you say there are no Apostles you might as well stop reading your Bible and stop asking the holy spirit for clarity because if you know anything about the holy spirit he can confirm to you all 5 fold ministry gifts are still active today. Pastors aren't the only offices. Bishops aren't in the 5 fold ministry they are a step up from the administration of a deacon.

I've always agreed with all of this when I was reading the scriptures early in my Christian walk. I eventually left the charismatic movement permanently because it was just full of showboating, confusion, and a mockery of the Gospel of Christ and the bible.

If anyone can be called an apostle and the word simply means someone sent or messenger, what's the argument about brother,so he should call himself ' messenger Gino Jennings' or the sent one, then you'd have a problem with that

Just being sent is not all of it. someone have to have sent you to go into other cities, states, or countries and set up churches. perform miracles, casting out demons and much more than what these apostles are doing now days. some people are hungry for a word of prophesy so anyone will do its all about the dollar not Souls. Munipulation, control and intimidation. That's it.

Brother love your teachings....this is solid in depth teaching from the word, rightly dividing the word of of truth. Just from what you are saying here concerning so-called modern day Apostles and Prophets, the first criteria alone "having seen the Lord Jesus personally, is enough to conclude that "Apostleship" ended with Jesus's ministry. No need for debate brother the Scripture is crystal clear. Also I would not even enter a debate with someone who has already rejected the evidence of Scripture. No Man can meet the qualifications of an Apostle given in Acts. Sent folks are todays Evangelist.

A person can be an apostle. He just has to go back in time at the founding of the church, raise your hand and ask Jesus to pick you, and pray you get some miraculous power to accompany you. Of course you’d be dead by now

Ephesians 4:11-16.There are apostles today that are called by God.They weren't born obviously when Jesus was on earth,but there are some called by God today,just like prophets,etc.Some people are called to be apostles,etc.,but they haven't reached the point of being used greatly as some.That's where fasting,prayer,seeking God comes in

I don’t understand why people think there are apostles today. We don’t need apostles today just like we don’t need prophets today. Scripture is very very clear no apostles today.

Actually you need to study scriptures and realize there are no apostles today genius. Apostles were called by Yeshua, second the Holy Ghost lol which is ridiculous it’s the Holy Spirit which is the Ruach in Hebrew and Pnuema in Greek. Please study scripture you sound lost

You have this partly right. Some of these that claim they are Apostles are truly not. Revelation 2:2. We need to consider Ephesians 4:11-13, are we all perfect? Have we all come to the unity of the faith? No we have not. The church age ( age of grace) is still in progress today so Ephesians 4 is applicable for today.

I was wondering if you could clarify the last part of the text for Eph. 4:11. You started to explain it in the greek for "pastors and teachers" but you kinda went some where else. I'm still new to greek but I see how knowing a little greek will make the scripture a lot clear as far as proper interpretation. Are you using the Granville Sharp rule? Being that both "pastors and teachers" are "Noun - Accusative Plural Masculine", are they referring to each other with "kai (and)" as the separator? If that is true then technically there is really only a "4 fold ministry"?

The bottom line is there are 4 (not 5 ) in view here. The issue is really based on what and then how so. The article followed by two substantives is a clear distinction from the preceding. Bill Mounce addresses this by referencing Hoehner and Wallace. Here is a portion of his article One interpretation sees them as one gift and point to the use of the article. It is repeated before all the other gifts, but when it gets to the last two there is only one article that governs both nouns. Grammatically, this signals a change and expects us to see that “pastors and teachers” form a unit that is set off from the preceding series. There can be no debate on this point; this is just plain Greek grammar. The question is the precise nature of the “unit.” The use of a single article with multiple plural nouns indicates a single unit, but it does not necessarily mean the two nouns are identical. This same construction occurs earlier in 2:20 and joins “apostles” and “prophets,” but these are not identical gifts. Hoehner suggests that the distinction is that the prior gifts are expressed in an itinerate ministry and the later two are gifts for a local ministry. Harold’s discussion of this is excellent and worth reading (Ephesians. An Exegetical Commentary published by Baker). Hoehner goes on to quote Wallace’s argument that the grammar suggests that the first (“pastors”) is a subset of the second (“teachers”). Everyone who is gifted to shepherd a local flock of believers is gifted to teach, but the gift of teaching does not necessarily mean the person is gifted to shepherd (e.g., administration, exhortation). So the second interpretation is that “pastor” and “teacher” are somewhat distinct gifts. All pastors must be able to teach (cf. 1 Timothy 3:2) but not all teachers are gifted to pastor, to help meet the daily needs of a local church. Granville Sharp’s rule is really not in play here. Either Paul is stating they are the same or that Pastor is a subset of Teacher. But in any case, if a person sides with Hoehner or Wallace, there are only 4 offices being mentioned here..

@messenger ministries brother you talk a lot but are completely wrong. So to prove it, I will send you $1,000 if you can find ONE Aramaic manuscript that predates the Greek manuscripts. The Peshitta is from the 5th century. Please do a basic google search before stepping into a field you know nothing about.

@messenger ministries with all due respect you simply don’t understand what you are talking about. Your reference to the Greek culture and paganism and so on, has nothing to do with the Greek language. Just like you speak English but you yourself aren’t English or apart of the English culture (similarly people in Mexico speak Spanish but aren’t Spanish people). Greece conquered the Babylonians who captured the Jews. The region was dominated by Greek speaking citizens-and when Rome conquered the land the “lingua Franca” was Greek though Rome ruled. Palestinian Jews by in large spoke Greek with a few speaking Aramaic and even fewer speaking Hebrew. You will not find very many ancient (non Biblical) writings in Hebrew or Aramaic (wedding invitations, deeds of sale, etc from that region during the time of Jesus and even into the second century. The claim you make is baseless. It’s not even logical. Meaning, when you allude to the destruction of the Aramaic versions, it begs the question; How do you know they were destroyed? If they were destroyed then where would be the proof of your claim? Now you jumped into a conversation that you were not equipped to engage in , since you have no familiarity with the biblical manuscripts or the Peshitta, so I’ll excuse you from any further conversations I may have about the Biblical languages.

Matthew 23:1-12 basically gives us the main reason why some people choose to put these titles before their names.

Show me in the bible where the Lord removed the Apostles out of the church? Because the holy scriptures clearly states that he put them in the church.

Ok.. what are the roles of the apostles in the church?? Paul told Timothy to ordain men in the office of bishop in the church....the apostles in the scriptures had a role in establishing Christianity in the world after Jesus Christ came and established the new testament church....... Paul, Peter, James, John didn't say anything about anymore apostles coming after them ... but they did talk about who and how to churches are supposed to operate until the return of Jesus Christ........ just like this guy said... you can wear that title Apostle..if you want to.. but Jesus Christ gave the names of those apostles he chose for the establishment of his father's religion..

@@bluetruckhos9926 Paul instructed Timothy to preach the gospel, to study to show thyself approved and to do the work of an EVANGELIST. He wasn't sent to ordain anyone, Paul was just giving him understanding and the qualifications of being a Bishop or Deacon. The Apostles didn't start a religion called Christianity, that word is NOT in the bible. An Apostle is God made, God chosen, and God sent and whom God apointed to preach and teach the gospel. No one teaches and Apostles but Christ... An Apostle ordains Elders, Evangelist or Bishops. Just because the bible didnt speak of other Apostles other than the 12 doesn't mean there are no more of them. To say there are no more, is to say the church is no more.... And we know that isn't true.

What about the 5-fold ministry, APOSTLES Prophets Evangelists Pastors & Teachers? Part of their function is to plant & oversee churches. Don't know if God has changed His mind but the 5-fold ministry is clear unless God is doing something completely different??? The problem with ppl is that they all want the titles without understanding the job description. The work you do according to Gods' will & purpose for your life should speak for itself! Just because you prophesy doesn't mean you're a prophet either.

Show me the people who raise the dead and perform miracles consistently like the apostles?

People read the bible & plainly read exactly what it says but they still want to obey their flesh instead of God. God wrote the bible through his prophets & we better do what he says or Hell is waiting, We need to quit making the scripture fit us because we don't want to obey God.

Why are there so many channels of believers criticizing other believers. If you're a follower of Christ you have the Holy Spirit we do not need another channel!!

Yup, unless you're over 2000 years old as an Apostle of the early church, or Jesus came again to appoint you, you're not an Apostle - dreams and visions of Jesus doesn't count.
