Here's why Comparison 1: * Average number of bombs dropped by America EVERYDAY in foreign lands = 46 * TOTAL number of bombs dropped by China in foreign lands in the last 40 YEARS = 0 Comparison 2: * Number of American military bases outside its territory = 750 * Number of Chinese military bases outside its territory = 1 (in Djibouti for UN mission) Comparison 3: * Distance from Chinese military base to America = 10,000 km * Distance from American military base to China = 0 km (Taiwan is within China) Comparison 4: * In 2020, after pulling out of a 20-year occupation in Afghanistan, America confiscated Afghanistan’s 7 Billion dollar foreign reserves, leaving Afghanistan in desperate short of basic necessities. * In the autumn of 2020, China poured in humanitarian aids to Afghanistan to help Afghans weather the winter. Comparison 5: * On 3 Jan 2020, General Qasem Soleimani of Iran, was killed in a drone strike by America, while heading to Baghdad in order to engage in diplomatic discussions aimed to reduce hostility between Iran and Saudi. * On 10th Mar 2023, brokered by China, long time rivals Saudi and Iran reestablished diplomatic ties, marking a new beginning of the two biggest Shia and Sunni countries, bringing peace to the Middle East. Comparison 6: * Laos holds a world record: the most bombed country in the world. 7.7 million tons of explosives were dropped in Laos, by more than 580,000 air missions by the US Airforce on Laos between 1964 and 1973 during the Vietnam War. That’s more than three times the amount of bombs dropped in all theaters of World War II. There are still 80 million bomblets that never went off remain live, buried over 35% of land area of Laos. A staggering 270 million bomblets were dropped in a country with a population of 2.5 million, to carpet a huge buffer zone to prevent weaponries to reach Vietnam. By 1975, 1/10th of Laos population was killed, 1/5th of the population wounded. * Today Laos has a high speed train more advanced than American’s, built by China after removing the unexploded bomblets. >> Laos, Syria, Afghanistan, where America destroyed, China goes to build.

How refreshing to hear a Chinese academic speaking so eloquently about China's recent successes and China's commitment to social justice. We here in the west are continually told our system is superior despite the overwhelming evidence (rampant and growing poverty, homelessness, ill-health, psychological alienation, despair and anger) before our eyes. I absolutely applaud China and all the BRICS nations for their determination to offer the world a viable alternative to the disgustingly inequitable and increasingly dysfunctional Western neo-liberal systems.

Here in the Us it's like they have ZERO cares about the people and care more about companies expanding and growing. Once the elite are no longer in control then we the people can expand, grow and eventually be friends with other countries that all just want to exists, trade and be friends. Great Video

Clash of two different mindsets. Scarcity mindset: Fear of losing something, anxiety about not having enough, insecurity about lacking security, and greed for more. It always strives for a win-lose outcome, where one's gain is someone else's loss. Obama's Pivot to Asia: "If over a billion Chinese citizens have the same living patterns as Australians and Americans do right now, then all of us are in for a very miserable time. The planet just can't sustain it." Destined for war. Abundance mindset: Cooperation, resource-sharing, and win-win outcomes. War is avoidable. The Belt and Road Initiative is essentially the United Nations without the G7. All countries are invited to join the BRI, but the G7 and their allies refused to participate because raising the standard of living for poorer countries is not in their interest. While the G7 accounts for 10% of the world population, it constitutes 60% of the global budget deficit. The West is isolating itself from the majority. The West: Farewell, free trade and supply-chain efficiency; welcome isolationism and nationalism. It was cheaper for China to buy reliable Western chips, benefiting both sides. China spends more on chip imports than on oil. The "Made in China 2025" initiative provided substantial funds for chip development, but companies were hesitant due to technical challenges and the risk of competing with established players like Intel, Samsung, and TSMC. The US sanctions forced the Chinese to develop their own supply chain. When self-sufficient, China can provide the world with cheaper chips, while the West and its allies lose access to both the Chinese and global markets. The US is developing its own supply chain, but without access to a large market, it cannot be competitive. The US is leaving no knees untouched in its Tonya Harding competition strategy. The Chinese are very grateful to the US for pushing them towards self-sufficiency. Thanks to the US, China now has its own GPS system and space program. Regional poles: African Union, 1340 million India, 1408 million China, 1412 million European Union, 747 million ASEAN, 683 million Latin American Union, 654 million Islamic Union, 512 million Five Eyes (US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand), 399 million Non-regional organizations: BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), 3400 million Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), 3200 million Pan-Islamic Union, 1800 million

India's biggest difficulties lie at home. The landlords and compradors left behind by the British colonialists who were left uncleaned up when Gandhi founded the country are now the biggest hindrance to India's development. In fact, many Chinese analysts believe that Modi is indeed a thoughtful leader, but that his reforms have been greatly hindered. Let me get this straight, if India wants to take off it has to shed blood and clean up the vested interests from top to bottom. But that power can only come from outside.

The reason is that there is no land for industrial parks and no more government investment. Modi cannot shake the landowners' interests. They have stalled land reform by demanding high prices that the government cannot afford. At the same time, the landowners will incite farmers against Modi if they reduce agricultural subsidies and want to invest in industry (although most of the subsidies end up in the landowners' pockets).

The biggest problem of Western countries is that they know too little about China. They always think that China is like the Soviet Union and North Korea, and then seriously underestimate China. This is why the West always promotes the "China collapse theory." In fact, China is a "system that combines socialism and capitalism." China's industrial categories are the most complete in the world, and China's technological level is far underestimated because the Chinese like to hide their strength. Now, almost every aspect of the West is facing problems. The West is declining, the East is rapidly recovering, and human civilization is returning to a normal state.

@@aison2735Wars determine who is a superpower, and China will NEVER be regarded as such until they fight another superpower. Look at the small UK islands. Britain defeated China in a war before, and they did so thousands of miles away from their own shores. So until China can face the US in a war, every word they utter or complain or threaten, ignore them. If China thinks they own the SCS, why don't they sink a US shop then? Paper tigers are not to be feared, especially if they've never fought a war.

Now, due to its belligerence, it has fallen into various serious difficulties, and recession is irreversible. The world has seen this fact and trend, and all countries are preparing for the day when the United States loses its dominant position.

For civilian products the US cannot compete with China in R&D Quality/Price ratio. Europe was able to compete in energy hungry manufacturing products because of the low cost fossil fuel energy they had from Russia but it is all gone now.

The main reason that the US is losing the tech war is because 1 in 15 Chinese have a degree or masters in engineering (including architecs and software engineers). According to college and university stats in 4 years it will be one in 8. With a population of over 1.4 billion, just do the maths and China has nearly 100 million engineers.

China has always maintained that the disputes in SCS is for the countries involved to settle it diplomatically. Filipinos need to train diplomats who knows how to talk/reason with china and can deal hard with them for the benefit of the Philippines. Playing hardball with the chinese will get filipinos nowhere and will just sever relations with them, if we play hardball against them, they can play it harder.

During Duterte administration there were good discussions. So what has changed is the Philippines side not so much Chinese. For China it’s simply waiting till they once again have to interact with a more peaceful and reasonable Manila.
