Why The Universe Doesn’t Give You What You Want | Want Nothing
When we intensely desire something, it often feels just out of reach. This is because our very desperation for it creates a barrier. Wanting something too desperately can, strangely enough, push it away.
Imagine that your intense need for something acts like a repellant, pushing away what you want the most. When you are desperate, your energy isn't inviting or calm; instead, it's charged with urgency and fear. This urgency isn't attractive. It's like trying to hold sand in your hands by squeezing it; the tighter you grip, the more it slips through your fingers.
Adding to this, when you fear that you might not get what you want, your anxiety increases, and this only drives your desire further away. It’s unsettling to realize that our approach to achieving our desires can backfire like this, but recognizing this pattern is the first step towards changing it.
There's a principle at play here that might sound counterintuitive but is deeply impactful: the less you cling to desires, the more likely you are to receive what you need. It's as if by wanting nothing, you open yourself up to receiving everything.

To much free time can destroy you!! Over think and over rationalize things!! If given, living life forever on this planet, what reasons would you do anything?? No motivation!! Nothing would get done!! 3) The answer is to life's success is LOVE AND PEACE!! We all want to be loved and live in peace!! One of Mother's nature laws states -- giving and receiving!! I only understood this phenomenon recently and realized the power of it! Oddly the moment I stopped caring by a little, just not expecting things as it is. It just kept coming in and flowing to me when I didn't ask for it nor was desperate for it I did not understand why initially until I had to come across this video to fully uds! I totally agree. I get amused at the YT click-bait videos that promise if you do something, or carry something, you will get 1 million dollars or more. Guess what. I DO NOT want a million dollars. If perchance I receive a million dollars, or even much less, I pray that the Universe will guide me to use it responsibly. I lack nothing. I have all that I need. My supply comes from the Universe. I see my wallet bulging with abundance! I feel my wallet is heavy with money. I lack nothing. I have all that I need. My supply comes from God But, more importantly: I am always focused on my devotion and gratitude: for the Divine Power of the Christ within me, for the Love & Radiance of the Christ within me that emanates from me, for my heart radiation that projects the Christ within me, for my wisdom to perceive the Christ within others, and for my desires and efforts to seek happiness for others.

Amen brother. I have learned if you ask for nothing, it is the same as putting all your trust in God to give you what you NEED as opposed to what you WANT. Also I would like to add... when you do have a need to ask, do so for things that last for ever only and do not ever disappear.

Thank you I have been wondering why all the other videos talking about putting the energy into the universe that you want something will manifest it for you because it has never worked for me when I really really really really really really want something. Right now all i want is to work in the field I just got my bachelors degree in. However im not getting any interviews... So i have now stopped applying for them, and content in the job i have.

Too bookish and completely disconnected with harsh realities of real life scenarios. This world is run not by lazy philosophers but Men of Action who turn the tide into their favor due to sheer force of action itself not any useless meditation. Action has its own force and energy to manifest results. And mostly according to our expectations. The world can be a far better place minus philosophers. It's like our education system which as the matter of fact , doesn't really prepare us or is aligned with the ever changing needs of the real world. Hence the high rate of global unemployment. Because "that university degree" in most cases doesn't really help much at all to propel a youth into the real world.
