Why The RAPTORS Fired Dwane Casey

Спорт

Coach Nick shows you how both these teams are attacking in the offense, and why the Cleveland Cavaliers seem to have a much better understanding of who to attack on the Raptors defense.

    I mean when Raps played GSW twice during the season they lost by 3 points the 1st timr because GSW scored 2 threes in 15 seconds or so, and 2nd game they lost by 1 or 2 because all 10 players on the floor scrambled for the ball in the last 5 seconds and it ended up out of bounds on toronto which made GS win. I'm quite sure they wouldn't sweep Toronto. Now don't go telling me the raps suck or are chokers or whatever, that's not what I'm here to discuss.

    I don’t mind the losing, Lebron is clearly playing on god mode. The thing that got to me, and forced me to change the channel, was how Toronto could not even set up their own offence at times. That was the worst coaching I have ever seen from a top seed. I don’t mind the hand of god destroying us via sheer force of will, but I don’t accept surrendering mentally, much less not taking preparation seriously, specially when fighting a god.

    Coach, lets face it; Raptors situation against Cavs is the epitome of learned helplessness. They never come up with a semi decent game plan to any match up and they don't have the personnel to deal with LBJ. The only teams which could beat Cavs this post-season were 76'ers and Bucks none of which has a decent coach. The only coach who can stop Cavs is Brad Stevens but without the two best players I don't think he can beat the Cavs all by himself.

    Raptors were very good in the regular season. But this back to back sweep by the Cavaliers just proves that Derozan is not a top 10 superstar in the NBA.

  • @80teg
    @80teg6 жыл бұрын

    This is somewhat of an oversimplification, but a lot of it boils down to this: One team has a guy who maybe a top 15-17 guy today, while the other team has a guy who is top 2 or 3 all time. The gap between Derozan & Lebron is greated than the gap between the #2's, the #3's etc on these respective teams. This is also the reason the Cavs can't beat the Warriors. Lebron is barely better than KD, but Steph, Draymond, Klay & Iggy would murder the next 4 Cavs (Love, Hill, Thompson, Korver?)

  • @lahmike

    80teg you spit fax but kd isn’t close to bron talent wise yes but bron has been doing it way longer and kd chokes in key moments like when he blew that 3-1 lead and since he joined the warriors in my eyes he could never finish top 5 of all time

    Barely better than KD.?? It's easy to look legendary when you play for the warriors 2 future hall of fame shooters and a DPOY KD does not need to carry a load with this team, LBJ carrying scrubs this far alone beats KD by a long shot all KD has on LeBron is scoring LBJ not a natural scorer he's an all around playmaker Kd can't even touch LeBron toes in greatness

    This year the Raptors moved into the right direction to beat Lebron. They got one of the NBA 's best benches and shared the work load more amongst the starters. This allows each Raptor to spend more energy and tire out their opponents. In 2018, Lebron's game has improved to the point of virtually no weaknesses. The only way to stop him over the course of a seven game series is to tire him out, physically. He is prone to cramps and can win a game all by himself, but not twice in a row. More like every other game. As seen in this series. Lebron was amazing in game 4, but not like in game 3. If the Raptors' defense can lock up every other Cavalier player for 7 games, Toronto wins.

Klay is one of the best shooters in the league and a great defender but he can’t put the ball in the floor and attack the the rim like Derozan. Derozan is also the BEST midrange player in the league.

Lebron pushed the Celtics to 7 games shooting a horrendous 35.5% with 5+ turnovers a game, and shot under 40% in all 3 of the Cavs' wins. Then in 2010 vs Celtics, 1 seed Cavs are up 2-1, then in the next 3 games combined Lebron averages 34% shooting with 6 turnovers a game, and the Cavs go 0-3 and get sent home
