Why the iPad Mini is still the best iPad in 2022

The iPad mini is the best iPad you can buy in 2022! Apple has just launched their iPad range for this year, and the iPad mini 6 is still the best value for money tablet this year. In this video, I go through all of things I love about the iPad mini 6, and all of the things I don't like about it. So watch to the end for a comprehensive review, and why this is the iPad I would recommend to someone who needs to buy one this year.

Some of the reviews for this don't make sense. This kzread.infoUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA works as well as any power strip I've used. Plug in what you need, be sensible about it & keep it movin' The construction is plastic but it's a sturdy piece. It has a single toggle switch & the swivel jacks are useful as well. Plugged in next to Tripp Lite Isobar takes some of these reviews with a pinch of sumthin' - does what it says & functions properly.Had for about a month. Perfect no complaints will update if anything changes.

Awesome! Yeah, I really love it! It’s my first mini. But I didn’t mind moving to the smaller form factor. I find I use it much more than any other iPad I’ve ever owned. I find the smaller form factor means I use it much more for work, and general browsing every day.

I don’t get why jelly scrolling is an issue to ipad mini 6 only. Literally all the iPads (I have an ipad pro) have jelly scrolling when you scrolling fast up and down that no one does that except quick to top sometimes. When you are reading you barely scroll up and down constantly. But I hope the mini has an m1 at least and promotion as mini has the longest refresh

I think people picked up on it because it was easier to see on the mini… for me it really isn’t a big deal at all though. I never really think about it when I’m using my iPad.

The problem I see with apple making a Magic Keyboard for the mini is that the keys will be way too small. The mini really isn’t meant for typing. It would be better to use a laptop or a bigger iPad to type.

Totally. That’s why I use the pencil. It’s much better than the keyboard. But sometimes for short emails, the keyboard is ok. Although, I think if there was a Magic Keyboard for it, I’d 100% try it to see if you could use it for more general work.

I just couldn’t get around using this thing in meetings. Useless for taking notes. On a side note, if you’re good with swipe typing, you can pinch the keyboard to make it smaller and use the QuickPath feature. As to the clumsy feeling of the plastic pen against glass, the accessory you need is Paperlike.

  • @ronanhutchinson

The huge variety of productivity uses for the Mini demonstrates how versatile it can be. A Master of Non - But Good at a lot of stuff - Which is find by me!!! I bought an iPad Mini Cellular 9 years ago. I do not browse with it - I'm an adult -so I use my 14" laptop to browse and an Apple TV for viewing. After 9 years of ownership, I use my Mini almost exclusively when I "TRAVEL" - to do the following - otherwise it sits in a drawer. #1- as a GPS unit in my vehicles - the best GPS ever (70%) #2 - as a Sidecar or mirror screen to view video paired with a M2 MBA (25%) #3 - as an eReader (4%) #4 - the odd miscellaneous task (1%) Since it is on its last leg (but not dead) - I will likely buy the new Mini 7 when it comes out later this year. I would never buy a bigger iPad as the Mini is simply a great portable complimentary device.
