Why The INFJ Is Born But The Sigma INFJ Is Made

Why The INFJ Is Born But The Sigma INFJ Is Made. The difference between INFJs and sigma INFJs is much more detailed and complex than anyone thinks. INFJs are born, but sigma INFJs are made because INFJs manifest more of their innate personality traits, while the sigma possesses more of their evolved and learned traits after “experiencing the world.”
The INFJ would surely learn a lot about themselves and the world around them once they unleash their sigma nature. However, every great thing takes time. Are you an INFJ or a sigma INFJ? If you're an INFJ, how do you think you can unleash your sigma nature?
What Does It Mean To Be INFJ?
The INFJ personality type, commonly known as The Advocate or Counselor, is one of sixteen in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). INFJs account for about 1-3 percent of the population. If you get an INFJ personality type, it suggests you're introverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging. Dominant: Introverted Intuition is your primary cognitive function. Extroverted Feeling: Auxiliary Introverted Thinking (tertiary). Extroverted Sensing is inferior. The MBTI test was designed to help people understand their own communication styles and how they connect with others. Knowing your MBTI type can help you better understand your mental processes and behavior, as well as adjust your interpersonal approach to various situations and people.

00:30 10 The INFJ empathizes with anyone; the sigma INFJ listens only to those worth their time

06:08 06 The INFJ wants to make people comfortable with them; the sigma INFJ leaves the atmosphere up to others
07:21 05 The INFJ fits in any group because of their flexibility; sigma INFJs only attract the like-minded

09:36 03 INFJs are naturally selfless; sigma INFJs know when to choose themselves first

Like, culture, postures, tone, eyes or gaze, smell, clothes, jewelry, tattoos, environment, if I have knowledge of them personally, idiosyncrasies, and many other indicators. Intuition and comprehensive ability also plays a huge role.

Hm this makes me feel a lot better because sometimes I worry I am not the stereotypically warm, friendly INFJ. I care too much about myself. I make people uncomfortable by being honest about the issues I see in the world, or not contributing to empty conversations. I have always felt that I prefer to be authentic than popular. It actually makes me sad to witness INFJs (or anyone) that are tirelessly compassionate, never publically break, mask all of the time. Then I see how everyone applauds them for it. All the while I know how badly they want to stop smiling, and let go of the need of being hypervigilant about the perceived needs of others. I have been victimized a lot in my youth, that hardened me, and the best part of it all is I guess I am good at hiding it because people still perceive me as a naive cinnamon roll. Point is, INFJs even if you relax a lil' or a lot your warmth and empathy will still rediate because it is inherently that strong. Our strength is that we can carry so so many dark truths, and still spread kindness. Though with boundaries we may appear cold and dismissive to predators, win win!

Hello. I hope you don't mind me bringing to your attention that while reading the Bible on my own, I've found that it never once says that Jesus is God. If you look for a plain scripture where Jesus says, "I am God," you will not find it. Nor will you find anyone saying "Jesus is God." The vast majority of churches in the world teach that Jesus is God, which according to my recent discoveries, is a doctrine based solely on interpretation. That's very dangerous, especially since God says he will not share his praise and glory with another (Psalm 42:8). Remember, this is Satan's kingdom we're in right now, and I believe this is the enemies booby trap under the church waiting to go off at judgment. Look at 2 Peter 1:1-3... "just as there will be false teachers among you, who will subtly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them... many will follow their shameful ways, and because of them the way of truth will be spoken evil of... they will exploit you with false arguments and twisted doctrine." "Denying the Master," how? As shown above, by taking the glory and praise due to God and placing it upon his Son, and exhalting him as God when he's a man like you and me, who has the same God and Father as you and me (John 4:22, John 20:17). To say again, detracting from the work of who and what Jesus is and did, which is his rightful glory, and putting God's glory as Father and creator on Jesus. This worship is causing the Son to eclipse the Father. Jesus never said "I am God." We shouldn't put words in his mouth.

#11 - INFJ's can feel other peoples emotions and can get overwhelmed, Sigma INFJ's have known how to shield themselves from unwanted energy and can filter which energy to focus on. #12 - INFJ's can be susceptible to teasing and bullying, Sigma INFJ's have grown thicker skin because of the teasing/bullying in their past and have evolved beyond that mentality, which is why they will go to other people's aid when they see those that are being bullied.

@@RedandBlackS10 There is a way you can protect yourself from other peoples emotions, I thought I was the only one to come up with it but found out I wasn't the only one. What I am talking about is something called a moving barrier. It uses your own aura/energy like a tornado/cyclone, that surrounds you and your place of residence, unless you live with other people then their energy can get added, it is the simplest but strongest there is as I have been using it for over 20 years - here is how: 1:- Relax your mind (go out into nature or listen to calming music) and feel the warmth around you, that is your own energy. 2:- Visualise your energy surrounding you, then like the wind, have it moving around you in a clockwise direction (left to right in front and right to left behind) . . . . thats it. The whole process will take time to achieve effectively, but you can not only add to it, you can also adjust how far from you that you want it - your own arms length or like a second skin. The more you practise it, the faster you can have it up, and the less you will need to remind yourself to activate it, it can soon become a subconscious activity. Whenever I feel overwhelmed by other peoples emotions, I take a deep breath and visualise the barrier, by the time I exhale it is up and at full strength. It is much better than Meditation and/or the White Bubble, which are 2 other types of protection.

I am 69 and it happened last year with no knowledge of what a Sigma INFJ even is. I am no longer nervously cheerful. I was aware I was an INFJ and had a problem with narcissists and people-pleasing my whole life, trying to fit in with others. Now I'm calmer, more sure of myself. No longer a people-pleaser at ALL. I don't care at all if I'm liked or approved of. I'm more focused. It's wonderful for me, but my family seems concerned and have told me so. I smile and tell them I'm great. What I don't understand is how such a drastic personality change can happen without provocation. I think I had possibly seen the term Sigma once before, but had never studied or understood it. I did not TRY to become Sigma. It simply happened. It's a good change.

I’ve been a sigma infj for a long time now. Growing up with diagnosed narcissistic sociopaths in my biological parents brought it out and caused me to door slam them without regret. Now I live without regrets. I learned to live with every decision I’ve made right or wrong. The path I’m on will be turbulent no doubt. However the ability to cut the abusive people out is the best way forward. I wish everyone could do it.

Joining the military really helped me grow into the “sigma”. I was very idealistic before, committed to service and volunteering. And in the end, I was left more empty than before. The military gave me the thick-skin, put me up against those who would exploit/abuse/manipulate for the joy of others suffering, and taught me to commit to other without committing. There were reasons I learned to never again volunteer yourself (well, volunteering for what suckage you’ll suffer, not what good you’ll do). I think the simplest way for an INFJ to become a “sigma”, is to simply go into the most uncomfortable areas. Place your hand onto the stove and see how you handle the heat. You will break. You will question who you are, your beliefs, your life decisions. You may fail and hide in the corner to process the experience subconsciously, as we are wont to do. Or you’ll come out calloused, but stronger in your resolve. Or just end up with mental health problems and an alcohol problem.

Yeah if the military won't teach you the danger of volunteering nothing will. 😂😂😂 Of course my father told me before I went in that you don't volunteer for anything. So I knew never to raise my hand when they asked for "volunteers". I do think the military is an overall positive experience and gives you life skills you will benefit from for the rest of your life though. I think everyone would benefit but have seen the guys who washed out in BCT and know some are just to soft in general. 🤙

I’m in my mid fifties and I’ve turned into a Sigma (hard ass) in the last few years too. It feels like a very natural evolution to my INFJ status. I absolutely love the definition that Sigma gives to my INFJ-ness. I still retain most of the benefits to being an INFJ, but there’s a world-wariness to my interaction with others that wasn’t there before. I think a failing (albeit a commendable one) of INFJness is that we try to be all things to all people, becoming Sigma (to me, at least) means that you’re much more shrewd as to who gets your time and why.

For whatever reason I decided or accepted at an early age that there was a version of me that was different depending on who the person thinking about me was No one was ever really going to understand me. And I guess the reason why your question is inspired such a long response, is because I wasn't letting go of fear of family, but by becoming myself that fear for disappeared for the first time ever. Like I just separated from my wife and she had a lot of very toxic narcissistic traits. And until I became a sigma INFJ I was doing typical INFJ behaviors and subsequently causing self-harm. When I started to lash out and became what she considered toxic. Instead of guilting myself over it I realized that this was just a characteristic of my personality because I was doing research on sigma Male videos etc. I had spent years going to a psychiatrist dealing with PTSD just this week I finally took my final dose of an antidepressant. So some of this context may be helpful. It was once I realized that it was okay to stick up for myself and never look back that I started to becoming what I now understand through this video is a sigma INFJ.

They thought, "I was just being arrogant". Eventually, they'd understand an apologize, when they saw how God, would move, in their life, from prayer. I would be exhausted when I got home. Have been a people-pleasing INFJ my whole life. Then something just changed. I no longer assume other people's opinions or beliefs are more accurate than my own. I have strong boundaries now, very new for me. I don't apologize unless I'm truly wrong. I'm no longer uncomfortable when conversation lags. I'm no longer uncomfortable with confrontation, a HUGE change from my former codependent self. Disapproval used to destroy my confidence, so narcissists just loved me. I still have feelings, but my expectations and needs of people are so different. I've always seen through people's lies but used to assume or hope I was wrong about them. Now I am just calmer, less reactive, expect less. I listen more and trust my gut. I'm no longer nervous around people or feel the need to please. It's a huge blessing and I don't even know why or how it finally happened. I hadn't heard of "Sigma" before running across it on YT. I really wish this had happened sooner.😊

There's a big difference between trying to fit and being diplomatic. For a sigma infj, Peace and harmony are always worth diplomatic negotiations, but we will be the first to walk away from anyone seeking to control or manipulate for personal gain

The above said things is very true as per my concerns. Few years ago I used be INFJ and kind to everyone & empathize with everybody who is in dare need, without giving a second thought that the same person would betrayed me when I was at my low. But as time pass and having lot of experience in dealing with these type of people soon I got to realised that I have made a tendency to understand their character and intentions. That would definately helped me to identify those fake people and make me realise their true intentions before making any relationship with them. You guys are doing a very great job 👍 These kind of contents really helps people to understand their own nature, even though it's not exactly true but you get an rough idea about your personality

Like this. This is also an example why some sociopathic circles try to shut down social and emotional intelligence. In part, it is to ensure their victims do not have the language to describe what is happening to them, or know how to escape and break free from abusive cycles. A more significant issue, is they do not want a collective group of Sigma INFJs and other understanding souls understanding the game and then take on the sociopaths' collective collusions such as pedophile rings, government corruption, war crimes, environmental desecration.

If I didn't know that their is a sigma type infj I won't literally say i'm an infj as i think there just so much difference with my personality but when you explained something like this and other similar videos posted in your channel it just adds up everything just fits so well,, I guess i'm a developing sigma infj ,, I don't know yet if it will match my personality test at our company maybe after 2 - 3 years for 6 sessions or more test procedures ,, well i did take a test online at 16personalities (retesting after 4-5 months maybe around 2 years by now) & Myers briggs (but hmm i'm just using it for free so it doesn't directly say what type i am) and still continuing to take it at our company,, Well my goal is just to know my self more in order to develop and know more how to keep improving myself,, So to sum it up I'm so thankful that you have this types of channel explaining personality types more power!

This video just gave language to my conflict and helped me to decide firmly in what I want and who I want to be. I've been on both side of the spectrums in my now 31 years of life. Mostly, Innate understanding. But when I decided to transform and morph into the sigma state, I enjoyed not allowing people to have access to my emotions whenever they needed them and not being responsible for everyone else and their perception of me. Although sigma was short lived and I'm hiding myself again (Innately) due to truama, I much rather grow and be unapologetically me. It takes work to live in a sigma state but it's worth it. I didn't think I had the energy to evolve again but I'm realizing that I do and it's a must that we ALL evolve or the world will be in lack of great influential leaders!

Just as a cursory glance here, it seems to me that a total INFJ conversion to sigma, is a LOT more difficult than an INTJ doing it, because the INFJ movement requires deadening a lot of emotion apparently to make the move, something INTJ's very often have down pat (robots basically😂).

I believe it's always wise to look for the good in people. It is also wise to recognize who they are, so you know if they have a desire to change, or remain in their rebellious state, giving you more insight of how to act accordingly to the situation, especially after you have taught them from all different approaches to understand the value that has not been understood, and allowing them to respond in a mature way or an immature manner, without taking it personally, only doing so because you care greatly about their worth, or the worth of their soul, knowing that is up to them if they care about their soul as much as you do, and not taking on the responsibility if they choose not to uphold that same value. I also believe a wise Sigma INFJ will look for commonality, to bring more harmony in the situation that falls before the group, friendship, or couple.

For instance, I don’t seem to give people a second chance after they’ve hurt me because their personality is not going to change. I forgive them and pray for them, but once they’ve crossed the line, they do not get a chance to cross the line again.

Odin sacrificed his eye in Mimir's well and he threw himself on his spear Gungnir in a kind of symbolic, ritual suicide. He then hanged himself in Yggdrasil, the tree of life, for nine days and nine nights in order to gain knowledge of other worlds and be able to understand the runes. You can call it sigma or whatever you like but to gain something you have to sacrifice something. Your time, your energy, your effort, your innocence, etc. More often than not it's probably something that caused enough pain and pushed you to your limits. A bad situation, a narcissist, your own paranoia, your body failing, your own failures, etc. That's my opinion.

Life eventually forces the change to sigma nature. Assuming we don't transition ourselves.... Speaking straight for myself. I was on the edge, but life burned the bridge underneath and finished it for me. It's Not Evolution as some of us prefer to claim. It's certainly not a spontaneous radical change in our DNA. 😁 If it's not our natural change with maturity. Then it's an adaptation to our environment. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of our Evolution. I simply see absolutely nothing to support that grandiose theory. 😁

INFJ towards sigma: As one who has lived the life for all too long as the INFJ empath, and sees the problem of making INFJs contend with narcissists and narcissism, IMHO there is a fine line here to be cut and said distinction be made know, "imposed if necessary, but not necessarily imposed ". So we think of the INFJ, seeking to become sigma, yet caught with the conundrum of putting (as it were) the narcissist in hos place... "As Christians we are taught"... (That to mean that while we may have been taught X is a Christian environment, it still in practical common sense applies to ALL humanity, albeit in ecumenical fashion (AKA unity in diversity in some other religions) but also, in so propounding, makes due respect for other religions.) "A christian loves the sinner yet haters the sin" but this says little about just how to deal with the "combined conundrum". Hence, centuries later, we hear talk of "Tough Love"... So, rhetorically, might well the INFJ of this story think how best to impose the need for tough love on the narcissist, and then, on that basis, "Wash his hands". For the young and single set, is this not comparable to the "no communications rule" and all that entails and seeks to serve? Food for thought(iness)!

This is a goiid comparison, but also in your mention of a sigma not caring if they are hasrsh at times rather thain taking a more weimpish approach. I have has tgo face this myself over my many years, opwever there is yet another fine line in this that bodes pensivemenss for INFJs, wherher sigma or aspiring to same. "Tough Love" an INFJ if he/she tries can surely come up with the way to cut that line without becoming co-dependent. This however has the added concern of whether one is to apply tough love when the need truly and morally confronts one or if an INFJ would be motivated to seek out more of that ype of conundrum than truly confronts him. That may asw much as not be a case of balancing his time amongst many and diverse issues with which life confronts us all.
