#but I don't understand why you can't be born a sigma infj..... When listening to many things I don't see why you can't be born that way.... I've heard an INFJ can be a natural psychic so if you're a natural psychic how do you know whether you're a psychic or not considering that I'm not really sure what psychiatry is?

Honey, when you learn to stop expecting anything from people but to be exactly who they are you won't be so disappointed by your friends or anything for that fact. If you already know how and who a person is don't expect them to change just because you are who you are. Surround yourself with better people who feel the same way about you as you do them.

I was an INFJ last year, but slowly I'm evolving into sigma INFJ. Many people who know me say that I'm weird, i don't follow the social rules. They don't understand what I really am. I used to feel sad, when I don't get kindness from others (but i was kind to everyone). But now, i just show kindness only to few people who really deserves it. I wish more people could understand INFJs

If that's true, and I pray it is, then this fairly sudden change I've made from people-pleasing INFJ empath my whole life, to now rather stoic, no BS Sigma INFJ is a blessing. I've been plagued since my early toddler years with nightmares from a violent, incestuous childhood. Was planning EMDR therapy soon. What a blessing if the nightmares are finally over! 🙏

The other side of this, of not getting involved unless asked is a maturity. An adolescent or young soul, keen to prove their competence rushes in to prove their abilities and wisdom. A more mature soul, knowing their capacity and what is need to heal the situation may well step back. They allow the more immature, adolescent souls to fumble and founder their way through the problem. There is a saying "easy come, easy go". This does not just apply to money, it also applies to life experiences. Sometimes making choices and then sitting the mess that follows is the best way for souls to learn that those decisions do not lead to healthy sustainable outcomes. If you overprotect immature souls and never let them taste the consequences of their bad choices, they can literally become spoilt brats. A more mature soul, whose identity is not based on false relationships or sham kudos, is able to sit back and let the offspring roll out their paradigms and thinking unfetterred. It is not that they do not love them, but they know that always giving the perfect answer and pre-empting the mistakes means the offspring do not learn the wisdom and insights in their own rights.

I'm now 61 years old. For decades, being an INFJ caged and isolated me in many ways in reality and metaphorically. However, over the last few years this Sigma INFJ-T has become liberated and found true happiness and has a few strong and sincere relationships. Life is good.

A few years ago my ex-boyfriend pulled me by the hair in the street because he was drunk (he was a narcissist but I didn't know it at the time). I could have easily broken his knee because I knew the weak point and because I had been playing combat sports for a few years. But as I had feelings for him I wasn't able to hurt him. I simply didn't let him continue in my life, I ended the relationship. And this was the second time that the episode of violence had been repeated. Sometimes I wish I could go back to the past and defend myself as I should have. This taught me not to allow any kind of violence from anyone. I simply do not tolerate violence.

We took 2 personality tests in health class and I took the official test online and they all said infj
