I don't understand why you don't have much more subs, the video is well put together the jokes land the theme is fun you put funky music under the video and watching around the channels you are a breath of fresh air in all the trash/B-Movie commentary channels and even culturally relevant information like the "Afro necklaces" I'm subbing hopeful that this channel blows up with the logarithmic magic

I agree 100%. The Robocop 2 video autoplayed for me 2 months or so ago and I could have sworn this channel had 100k+ subscribers. Great quality, humor, timing and callbacks. This guy is great (but wrong about Guyver)

More than a Masterwork Guyver was one of the really first anime in America like before this was Godzilla and got really popular with the audience so they rushed this movie to production Mark Hamill was to get "nerds" in the theater and probably were most of the budget went the suits are from the same place TMNT suit were made with another big chunk of the budget and it actually worked this movie is why we have Power Rangers and anime in general the second movie was made tho recycle suit and because people asked. Guyver lore human are the final weapon but the aliens are 2 faction one want to transform them in monsters to destroy the other wants to protect the human because we had intelligence and they didn't stick around to watch us evolve so the Guyver suit was created and given to protect humanity, in the movie is only hinted but the monster humans usually aren't intelligent so they are "used" for chaos while the real bad guys are the aliens that work in the shadows, mostly Guyver is about the struggle of the MC to destroy this monsters knowing they are innocent humans and sometimes friends transformed against their will or tricked, the movie didn't got that hard but the source material is really dark like Guyver can regenerate if eat the monsters, children gets turned, he dies a couple of times, loose limbs and the battles are more head to head, Guyver is basically UltraMan but gritty and 18+

Yes the Guyver anime was really good & popular during that time, it really was a masterpiece compared to this live-action adaptation.
