What do you think of the acting job the cast of That '90s Show has done in the first season?

Well, given that the characters they are playing are teenagers and they are teens themselves, I would say they did a good job. The acting may be hit and miss but they can develop and improve when time comes, and also they are kids, it can’t be perfect acting, of course not. The critics were too harsh on them, give them a break, it’s their first breakthrough show and they are the lead characters. They were good overall and I do have faith that they will get better in time as the show continues.

Horrible acting and bad jokes. Red and Kitty are the only reason to watch it. It was painful to watch, hopefully it gets better. Young Sheldon has young actors that can actually ACT!! This show reminds me of corny YTV and Nick shows, made for kids and people that don't know what good TV is.

He was the only person I noticed. But I never actually watched that show. Must've seen the commercials for it.

I really hope this series lasts for many years to come. Just like it's predecessor.

I think it is also worth mentioning that Debra Jo was also a recurring guest star on the Ranch

Super cool I recognized them all. From watching that 70s show and watching those Disney shows with my granddaughter when she was little! She's now a smelly 15 1/2 yr old teenager

Crazy ! I'm was sitting there watching that 90s show trying to figure out where I knew him from . Thinking back to "Nicky Ricky Dicky and Dawn" I always said his character was going to grow up and be the stoner of the quadruple. And I instantly knew Max from watching "Gabby Duran and the Unsittables "

The Parents Carry the 90s Show. The kids are great really, they are great actor. But the show works with the Parents there!

"That includes it's lack of lgbt+ characters and story lines." I hate to break it to you but the original show had Buddy... Buddy was originally was supposed to be apart of the main cast but unfortunately it was too progressive for it's time. He was in Season 1 where him and Eric are science lab partners. He tried to kiss Eric but Eric freaked out. By the end of the episode they decided to stay friends. He was originally going to be a reoccurring character but many parents got mad over that and wrote the writers nasty letters.

That is true but the narrator is talking about roles they took on after that 70s show ended in 2006. Debra Jo Rupp played Alice in the 90s before that 70s show aired, I believe

What About "Fenton"? He Seems Very LGTBQ even "Fez" Was The "Q" in LGTBQ.

Never heard of any of these shows.

He also played Dead poets society as the students dad! Yep, the one that played Red!

I feel old, I don't know any if those shows xD But some if those indie films sound pretty intriguing.

I only recognize the jay actor he was from the show I used to watch when I was younger call Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and dawn i’m talking about the new generation cast not old.

I didn’t know that was Dicky from Nicky Ricky Dicky and Dawn. I’ve seen pretty much all of these people in a bunch of things. And I didn’t even know it. But yeah I love this show and I love that 70s show and a bunch of them.

I remember Debra Jo from the movie BIG with Tom Hanks.

I must be old, I didn't know those kids were on anything else. The only ones I know in That 90s Show are the original 70s show cast members.

I hope Danny Matherson's character comes back as Steven Hyde. I wanna know how his record shop is doing, and wonder if he can assist, or impede the kids in their escapades just for the amusement, while also being able to come from personal experience for some of the dumb stuff he's done. Hyde now people an adult, like the best adult companion that would work well for their teenage years, OR, it could be used as a warning for a road they might've gone down. Edit: Either way, it doesn't feel complete without Hyde making one single appearance, or even a mention he's somewhere. They got EVERYONE else.

As great as that would turn out to be, Netflix took a safe approach with Danny Masterson's allegations. I am sure they didn't want to give the wrong idea to viewers by bringing back his character, yet even mentioning him.

I had low expectations for That 90's Show, I mean it had Big Shoes to Fill... But I gotta say, I am glad I was wrong. Kitty and Red are absolutely the saving grace of the show and it feels like they never left. And having many of the original cast returning for short but awesome segments is just perfect... The kids feel a bit younger then the Cast of that 70s show was in it's day so that kind of threw me off at first but admittedly they sucked me in after a while and I look forward to the next season.

Wasn't Mila Kunis also in "Oz The Great and Powerful"? And did you mention Kutcher's "The Butterfly Effect" or "Dude, Where's My Car"? And whatever happened to Eric's big sister? (whom Red /sorta/ mentions in episode nine, by reminding Kitty that he 'only wanted ONE kid, but Kitty convinced him to have Eric too') ... will we "find out" in ep 10? or were we supposed to remember from the old series? ... Anyway, the acting was good; if I were The Academy (and could get a vote in before they realized who I am and kicked me out), those actors would lose Their Awards by slightly-less!

The actress who played Eric’s sister tragically died so I doubt there will be much, if any more, references to her. Also they replaced her with another actress in at least one season of That 70’s show.

Loved Kitty and Red being back, couldn't relate to the kids. They were like watching an episode of iCarly, but I enjoyed iCarly more.

Honestly, I believe Leia isn't Eric's daughter for 2 reasons. 1: Timing. Eric and Donna get back together on new year of 1980. Leia being now fifteen or sixteen in 1995, means she was conceived in late 1979 if she was full term, or premie early 1980. She would have been at least 2 months premie. 2: her features. Yes I know you can say it's just down to acting but, her hair color, height, and face structure look very much like another character who donna dated late into 1979. Randy. Now, I believe that maybe it could be a way they may add drama to the show. I don't know. It just doesn't compute. It could also be bad writing.

honestly, i want to like the 90s show but it feels like a KZread video parody of the 70s show. The only reason i watched it in the first place was to see the old casts and it was nice seeing some of them back. I don't think it's actually a bad show but it feels like it's just off a bit. I'm not sure why I think that way but IF you like it, great. tell me why you like it? maybe i need to have a change in perspective.

As soon as it started circulating that she was secretly Hyde's daughter, the show's producers immediately responded and said she is not, and they won't mention Hyde in the show and would distance themselves from him because of Danny Masterson's charges. The only person from the group that Sherri, the mother, was ever romantically involved with was Fez, but she already had her kids before she was in a relationship with Fez.

I was able to guess each of their names and who played each character. Just by the order and the way the name sounds. I thought Sam Morales might have been Asian or a guy. But could tell she wasn't the Asian when I noticed she looked Latino.

No one mentions Danny Masterson. Last, I heard, he was locked up.

And even then, she would have had to be pregnant on the show. And Jackie and Kelso would have had to have Jay in 1979, which if That 70s Show ended in 1979, Jackie/Kelso would have already have had baby Jay. The timeline for this absolutely doesn't add up at all. It would have made more sense if they'd set it in 1998/1999 at the absolute earliest.

Nobody gave a goddamn about this show then,.....and they still don't years later.

Why would "That 70's Show" not be accepted for not having LGBT characters? Why is that a requirement? Are you implying the only reason the only reason Reyn got the job was a requirement and not because of talent/skill? Have we just accepted Tokenism as a norm?

I like the new kids, but I hate the way they write Ozzie is like fingernails on a chalkboard. He goes out of his way to be annoying. If they lighten up on that and make him less intentional, he would be more likeable. The actor is doing great with what he is working with. If the show continues, I hope they settle into the characters better, and that they directors keep the kids on the verge of laughter, so they are close to breaking like the original cast. That's why it was always so funny. Even the actors couldn't keep a straight face. Not that anyone asked :)

So basically they’re all unknowns. Thanks for nothing.

This show had no right being so funny, but I felt zero connection to the new kids and I also didn't like watching a girl turn 15 and talk so much about sex. Not cool. Still, kitty brought her A game!
