One way I looked at is was that the true Jews and Harley bikers both wear black and have beards because they are righteous. In the case of the Harley rider, he worships the wrong 'god', namely Harley-Davidson. The bike is their 'god', but yes they can still be fairly righteous, despite them worshiping a material object.. At least, that is how I saw it anyway.

This is interesting that there is a symbolic reason for the black. I had thought it was the Polish priest thing (mentioned by another commentator) and possibly a sign of mourning for the temple. If ronen's analysis is correct, then Jewish men would wear black even if the temple had never been destroyed.

  • @goodgravy3047

RIP Ronen. I wish you were able to reply. With all your studying I wonder why your simple and direct answer to the question of why you wear a beard is because we are command by G-d in Leviticus to not destroy the beard. That should be all the reason in the world to do so. Because some sage, rabbi, or other man said this that or the other thing is irrelevant when compared to the direction given to us by G-d in the Torah. Why all the reference to other sources for directions than G-d's words in Judiasm? Shouldn't the voice of G-d himself be enough?

Actually it's Hebrew that doesn't use the W. There is no W in the Hebrew alphabet. The letter in the middle of the tetragrammaton is a vav which is either pronounced as a V, a Oh, or a Oo noise. So I suppose it could be Yah-oo-eh, which, if said fast could sound like yahweh. As for the consonant form of vav being pronounced as a V and not a W, this is not a Yiddish thing. It's the universally accepted pronunciation among both Sephardim and Ashkenazim.

#1 I understand your question and as I explained ToRAH doesn't say he had any speech impediment. It seems more like shyness, but he could have had a impediment. I say it's not important, not because of anything you said, But because most people regardless of the word of the creator itself, are still searching for the secret things. They have this zeal to discover something no one else has of YAH the father. Even though HE has said the secret things are his only. To be cont'd

#2 The Sephardim and Ashkenazim. Are Yiddish people get real. Yes, many of the Sefar's mixed with the Africans as they migrated and colonized Africa,Spain and Greece. And there brothers the Ashkenazi did the same. Both took there customs including Yiddish which is a mixture of German, Russian their native tongues, and what words of Hebrew that they could pronounce. They have been passing Yiddish off as the acceptable Hebrew for centuries. But it's not the original and neither are they.
