Not where I come from... if you tried to charge £12 for that in East London they would burn your shop down 😂😂 I think this shop is in a part of London which has been gentrified to the max (I believe it’s near Borough Market which is also a tourist trap) and all they’ve done is slap another £5 on the price knowing they’ll get away with it 😢😂

Stumbled across this gem of a place with my cousin when we visited London last month. The full English was a beauty, highly recommend

I worked in the Lambeth between 2010 to 2013, it was THE place to have a breakfast. We were Police types incognito and deeply covert and each of us had been to everyone everywhere across London for a cooked breakfast. This was where you took the time to get to. One of the things I really remember is that the guy you see in the video could remember exactly what you had ordered come time to settle up, he never ceased to amaze me - aweseome talent - and of course, how f***ing superb the bloody breakfast was, absolutely fantastic. Thank you for the memories now that I am retired and living in south Wales (where they have no f***ing idea how to do it properly...) I sincerely hpe that you and your establishment are going well.

@James Gillings surprising is one way of looking at it ,extortionate is another. my opinion was that regardless of rent ,cost of ingredients, production of service nothing justifies charging anyone in the UK £12 for a plate of breakfast consisting of, 1 sausage, 2 slices of bacon, 1 tomato cut in half, 1 egg, 2 pieces of black pudding 3 mushroom, slab of bubble and squeak and a tablespoon of beans, it’s breathtaking anyone would consider it as fair or reasonable.

That was useful, I won't be visiting Terry's as I prefer my food to be cooked to a suitable standard and priced accordingly. I also won't be following you two as you have no idea what you are talking about. Massive plate of food ? Black pudding a 'new' item on an English breakfast dish. No mention of the extreme overprice or poor cooking skills, the tomatoes were carbonised and the sausage was burnt one side and raw on the other.

£12 is proper steep, even for London. Then only one sausage and no toast... won't be tempting me down there. I will say, he gets big points for real bubble and squeak though, far better than hash browns!

Looks good - except maybe for the mushrooms. They seem almost cooked which usually means they are boring. Some nice fried mushrooms with some color would work better I think.

Now I don't know if the cafe is still where it use to be but I do however remember the breakfast. I think it was on a lay-by on the A34 on the way to Wales, it was a converted portakabin and although it was a basic place you couldn't in anyway fault the cleanliness or the quality of the food sold there. My abiding memory is trying to finish largest breakkie and even I wimped out and immensely annoyed my then partner with my uncontrollable flatulence, I'd appreciate anyone out there with any info on the place as I remember it fondly.👍

I’m a south Londoner and from the elephant but I still rate the regency cafe in Victoria a better full English the owners are legendary and the queue out the door(which to me is the one negative)says it all ... both Terry’s and the regency take great pride in making the best they can from a ham salad sandwich to a full English .they both need to be commended on their commitment to excellence
