I do that to 😂 bud it makes it more fun
This series is definitely one of the things I look forward to watching after work while winding down. Just great views, a good layout, and most importantly. Having fun with it, and trying different stuff. I'm loving the slow crawl forward towards downtown. I hope eventually you'll have a nice pier with possibly an amusement park? Cannot wait for next video.

I agree too, I love those views!
love the series! only problem we have is that we have to wait for episodes and can't binge the entire thing!
Usually, I go with square layouts and space everything out. But your builds are blended so well with the look of realism. Honestly, I have scrapped after purchasing the second lot. But your work truly inspires me to keep playing at a slow pace by accumulating wealth.
I find watching Overcharged Eggs Noobs series to be a great way to unwind after school. It's light-hearted and entertaining, and helps me relax and take my mind off of the day. Thank you as always for the entertainment Egg❤

I do agree, makes me a "tranquil Egg" 🥚
I've been playing this game and watching videos since the release of this game, and yet this is the FIRST series I'm watching and eagerly waiting for each episode. Great job so far, and thank you!

Glad you enjoy it! Appreciate the support mate :)
This city seems like a good opportunity to try out both walking tours and some tourist bus lines. I have never really used them, but there are many "destination" spots here that might draw visitors. And some paths zigzagging up the cliff would create awesome views as well as increasing the walking connections between the different areas of the city.
Loving this build! 😍re: connectivity... Well, it just so happens that there is an abandoned mineshaft rail under Mad Mountain that would be perfect to repurpose into a tram-only link between the Mid-Century Modern suburb and the new Green suburb. Trams only would prevent it from turning into a busy traffic corridor. (Pedestrian area road with tram through tunnel would be weird but effective!)
I always struggle with terrain and you make it look so effortlessly. Really appreciating this series as I'm struggling creatively on my own.
The level of accessibility to building concepts that you're able to achieve in your videos is a credit to you. I'm glad that so many new players are tuning in to your channel. With 2,500 hours build time under my belt, it can be difficult to break out of old habits and building styles but your various series have engaged me with their humour and awesome content, so that every time I load up the old skylines it feels like I've got something new to try again. 15/10 good egg rating from me!
Egg, you are definitely not a small youtuber - you are a great youtuber. Your videos became a part of my weekly routine and I can't never wait for the new one to show up. Good job! Thanks for what you are doing :)

No I’d say he’s a smaller one
I love this build style!!! Can't wait for you to start high density downtown. I hope you make a drive through video in this series. I love to see big numbers of passengers in train, metro and mono. I am looking forward to see how you integrate these transports in your high density areas. I think this green city area will look good with wall to wall specialization at the city centre.
I get so excited seeing you've uploaded this series. It's a difficult build to do but you made it look great. Love the tiered suburbs. Looking forward to finally crossing the river and starting the downton, keep up the great work Egg!
just wanted to say your videos continue to inspire my builds, thanks for continuing to give us such great content.
I canf quite fit you in the underrated category...you're an unreal vanilla builder...I follow along on console, and it drives me crazy that I cant put together a custom forest brush or detail along the roads the way you do. Of course, I can finagle it a little more slowly...but, I want to stay following along. I've played this game a lot... but expansion has always been the hardest part. So, thank you for being you, Egg! A real one. And a great content creator for those of us that have no choice.

I'm having a blast following along with your build. I just love the sense of community you are building with this series as you go along. I am also so happy your numbers are blowing up. You well deserve it for the fun you've given me.
I looove this build! I mean this whole series is just amazing overall! The inclusion of the bird and bee haven is awesome as a unique building in the town centre. Can't wait for the industrial nightlight waterfront! :D yes please!!
This series is just fantasic, the City is phenomenal. Keep going, amazing job!
So glad you remembered my little fencing-zoning trick from that Noveria ep. 😊
just binged the series so far! glad I caught up so i can watch when they release now!
Really good build as always< Was just thinking of it would benefit the city and walkability by adding another way on to the mountain on the green cities side
great episode! i usually dont watch vanilla content because i know i ll never have the patience to use classic mechanics of the game but you nailed it! Also, the huge amount of people that want to go there may be asking for an upgrade of the public transport system. I think you should upgrade the bus line to a tram line or even build a metro. I imagine the metro line coming out of the hill and heading to the city. It would look amazing! Also, i think building a bike path to the city would help
I really loved the idea of having all the residential facing down the hill, it is such a simple idea and one I have never considered! Thank you for the inspiring build! It's great to follow along with
YES PLEASE! 👏 Really enjoyed this one Egg! The residential tiering worked out a treat, hilltop town centre is gorgeous, just all round a great little build mate. It's really incredible how you can build these types of areas within your cities where I could genuinely see myself living. I wish I could build like that!
I love watching your videos when I need some time alone, especially this series, I love all the creative choices you make that make this city looks spectacular!
Another excellent episode Egg. I am deathly afraid of building on foothills and mountains but now I might have a go at it, with inspiration from your build. Keep going mate!
That was a great episode... Well done buddy! And one more thing that is very close to my heart. You are such a nice KZreadr, and as I experience you here, a kind-hearted person... You have more than earned your success...

That's very sweet Otte, thank you ❤️
Looking forward to every episode. This the first build of yours that I've got to watch from the beginning in real time.
OMG, "All roads lead to downtown" gives me shivers, it reminds me too much of my hometown Atlanta, it's a serious problem there!
I’m loving the 2 episodes a week, and just like every other episode this one doesn’t disappoint. I’ve used this area to dump my garbage processing and sewerage processing in my play along. Will need to move this…. Also, wrapped the small 4 lane from mid century all the way around, part elevated along the river. Hope that takes the pressure off. But also thinking need to get some bike lanes direct from new green cities… bike lane tunnel under the mountain?
Another awesome build Egg! I love how it came together in the end. As for the space near the forestry, maybe something Dawson-esque? A cute community with an interesting shape and bustling town centre! It would also be an excuse to use a historical train station? Maybe as one of the only ways in and out to really solidify that this is a small town? I think it would fit in nicely, especially for a more ‘rural’ or ‘regional’ part of the city! Plus, they would get some awesome shots of Downtown!
That fence trick is the most OP thing I’ve ever seen, thankyou for bringing that knowledge to light
That is quite a unique build and it very happily settles onto the side of that hill. Amazing how busy that bus line is, would not have expected so many cims to prefer such a long bus-route over their pocket cars. And I'm going to shamelessly steal the idea with the nature-reserve log-bench for using it in playgrounds - was immediately recognizable what you tried to do there to me.
Why are you so good? 🤣Love this residential extension. Those buses are crazy busy and love to have the new bus types that came into the game lately. This is a suburb that I would love to live in.
Look at that list of names go! So happy for your success and recognition - very much well deserved! Thanks for another amazing video ❤

I am just grateful you love this game so much :)
love this series. It has given me inspiration for a new city on this map and to get all of the CCPs!
I can't get enough of this series!
I've been following the guide from the beginning, but this is my first comment on it. This channel is so chill. I love just watching what you come up with. While I recently got CS on PC, I watch this channel much more than I play it lol. I'm also looking for inspiration for when CS2 comes out 👀. Can't believe this series is still going! Love it! Can't wait to get caught up!

Glad you're enjoying it bro 😌
Great build as always!! A train/ underground line connecting to the rest of the city could ease the pressure on the bus line.
Great build. It's always difficult to build on hills, especially without mods, but you made it look great
Absolutely love the build, as usual! Little tip : the water towers snap to the pipe's height. So to stop it from sinking into the ground, place it off a pipe or delete the bit of existing pipe that is beneath it, then reconnect it. I hate my water towers sinking into the ground like that. I would also put the bus stop by the school, for the aesthetic of having people waiting out front (and the little bus stop it adds onto the sidewalk). But those are just details.
This city looks absolutely incredible for a vanilla build - hell even in general. I love this episode so much and I learned how to build on a hill more naturally too!
The little bus cut-through the roundabout is such a cool detail that I am adding to the LONG list of things I’m stealing from these videos.
Love the series and I wish you much more YT success!
Great episode Egg! I really dislike how many cims queue at the bus stops. I agree that once connected around the mountain that should die down a ton.
Such a great episode again! One suggestion about the busy bus line, you can perhaps put a train line between the train station that you build near the office park and a new one in the new green cities suburb. Anyway, this new suburb is beautiful, love the tiered street around the town center 😍
Amazing work egg. may be you can add another entry point to mad mountain from this side too .
This was definitely a truss the process one when you first started laying things out. That bring said I'm glad I did because it turned out amazing. The only thing I'd add is a connection to the mountain paths from this new suburb.
This is probably my favourite build of the series Egg, the modern mid century pack is my favourite one to use in my builds, it's so nice to look at.
Love the video again Egg! Nice lunch break watching 😁
Very carming and relaxing video looking forward to the next one great job.
Really enjoyed this terrain build
I think you should add some sort of fun, "secret" tunnel walking paff thru the mountain to connect the two sides
i hope to see a first persion camera view on the trams and busses someday. great work, love the videos. you have an eye for details
Oh that is a neat trick with the fence, forcing the game to make the buildable area into a 4 row high, combing the 2 rows from both roads!
The view to the castle, pretty cool.
I enjoy this series. When the children sleep I relax with this beautiful city. I would definitely live here. Hvala
Big fan of the PacMan-about Egg! Great job on this one, looks amazing.
Enjoying this so much!
Oh, I really love your transport infrastructure ... An alternative bus hub layout could be as following: 19:40 convert the square to one-ways with the directionality of this green bus line. The road with the bus stop could have multiple parallel one-way roads, each with a bus stop for every new line. Of course, two or three less busy lines with lower amounts of vehicles might also share their bus bay - this mitigates the growing demand for more and more space. Maybe we see this version in one of your future bus hubs. While custom bus hubs are quite flexible, assets like 28:28 are not - they only allow right turns into the hub and right turns exiting the hub causing bus line to weirdly loop around the block. Replacing the road in front of those bus hubs by one-way couplets with a U-turn option can remedy that. Positioning them in cul-de-sacs is an alternative approach.
Love the serie. Thanks 🎉🎉
Once again egg brilliant work. Looked rubbish at first but all came together and looks great so brill work. ❤❤👍👍👍

Love how the city is turning out 👍
Gradient police! 😆🤣 Thanks for all the great ideas! Including how to use terrain.
Great build in a great series!
Absolutely loving this build! Maybe a pedestrian and tram waterfront linking the new area with the main city? Along the foot of the mountain?
Those houses on the hills look amazing, you need to find more places to add them in! Only egg would add a bus only lane to a round about.
Great work once again
I like it. Keep up the great work.
The only suggestions I would make is to change the roads in the new area to cycling ones, and maybe add a cycling pathway along the river to connect to the cycling network on the other side of the mountain. That should ease off some of the bus traffic. Maybe convert the walking path under the Castle to a bike or shared pathway to add bike traffic all the way down the river linking both sides of the city. Very inspiring build. The TLC given to each area raises the quality to the next level.
I can't wait for the next episode!
toujours si satisfaisant tes episodes les uns après les autres
You are a fantastic cities designer.
I love your city bro looks simple and beautiful .
best episode so far !
Stunning as always! I did have a proposal for “Future Egg 🥚”. I was wondering if maybe there can be a “Spicy Vanilla” build with Traffic Manager to turn despawn traffic off? I think it’ll also be a wonderful challenge to build, expand, and wonderfully detail a map while battling traffic and may have to rethink and redesign. 90% of most peoples issues is traffic and how to manage it. ( Biffa knows best 😅). But just a thought in the future 🫶🏽🙏🏽

@@OVERCHARGEDEGG you’re the best! And since the overall theme of this map is heavily focused on public transport. May have the added benefit of showing just how wonderful good transportation is in Cities! 🙏🏽
WONDERFUL episode!!! I'm really loving this series, much more than I ever thought I would. Terrain is so hard to work with and here you go making it look easy and gorgeous too!!! LOVE it Egg!!! Thank you so much! 😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I look forward to seeing you do something like this in cities 2
Best cities skyline content out there♥️
Hey Egg! Just wanted to say that I'm absolutely loving this series (have been bingeing it while I wait for Thessia to start 😅) - and also just wanted to let you know that the playlist is a bit out of order? If you don't mind then that's cool, but FYI the "ultimate train & tram combo" episode, and this one, are not quite where they should be in the playlist if you wanted to rearrange it for any future viewers. I got super confused when the city had suddenly grown a tonne between episodes lol. Also looks like the farms & fields episode hasn't been added to the playlist from what I can see. Anyway, back to bingeing! Hope you're doing well 😊
wow Beautiful little city!! like it allot !
Great work Egg!!!!

You are a great builder!
Well done egg another great addiction to your city looks great.
If you want to get rid of parking lots on pedestrian roads then zone 2 deep and 3 deep commercial zoning. You generally get the same buildings as 4 deep but minus parking. If you do get pesky parking on the back or sides of buildings you can run a bicycle path behind as a bit of an alley look.
Got a nice chuckle out of the comment about the bus line later going mental 😂
amazing suburb. I really love these layers of height
Seriously, this detailing was mesmerizing. I threw it on the TV set and had my husband just sit and watch. He now understands this whole Cities:Skylines obsession. But I wanted to comment on the music... is that available to us via station or something else?

Thank you, glad you are both enjoying it :) I have a playlist on spotify of the stuff I use. Search for "Overcharged Egg's KZread Music" :)
HARDCORE FIRE DEPARTMENT. Let’s see it. All these trees deserve the highest quality protection from its local inhabitants. Especially with a metropolis under development.
Inspired by Egg, I picked up a map off the steam workshop with a lot of terrain elevations highly conducive to layering. I started playing and making terraced neighborhoods, and layered bridges, but then an earthquake hit and destroyed a lot of my work. So, I'm taking a break and watching this video!
When you develop the downtown area you should put a really big center park in the middle. Kinda like central park new york... it would look neat from mad mountain too
I think this would be my favorite place in the city to live so far. It's a bit like Canalaven almost, only you don't need swimming gear 😆 Oh, and seeing that Korean school...perhaps you could check if the football goals are findable assets? Would make imperatur-style self-built pitches a lot nicer
9:12 Now you've done it, we're going to need a Blighttown.
This bus line shouldnt get a ton of use.... (5 minutes layterr)adds bigger buses. Talk about a happy accident 🤣 I'm loving the increased usage of the pedestrian roads. This city is coming along really nicely OE. Awesome work as always! Live stream soon?
Another great build. Although I would of had the houses on the opposite side of the road so their gardens looked out over the cliff instead of people being able to look into thier gardens ❤
Thanks for the entertainment :)
