I have a study group with some friends from work around data science and programming, just today I was talking to them about the benefits of knowing SQL and how I learned the basics in two of your courses. I've used postgres since the beggining against your advices just because I liked a lot their elephant and everything looked the same (and different). Thanks for bringing this course! Hi Dr Chuck you are right in 2002 Amazon was on a turning point with the question do we go for large groups which will propose their products or are we better of with nimble organisations to propose products. This conversation took place under surveillance of the US Supreme court other people attending Bill , Steve, Intel, Oracle , Mark , Jeff others . I put forwards to Jeff that if he went for the large groups with time he would end up loosing all his dynamic bring tributary of the latency of large organisations in reacting to changing market conditions which requires lean and agile response structures. So if going for small organisations also meant small IT budgets for them , so Amazon was in need in a IT environment which could coop with their daily operations and at the same time maintaining and enabling a fast and reactive supply structure. Question how far and how deep to go, knowing Jeff the sky is the limit with other words zero miss on new product and new entrance , Amazon IT structure should not be a hurdle to join the party.

Hi, Dr. Chuck. Would you recommend taking this course before or after your Web Applications for Everybody course? I'm nearing the finish line of Web Design for Everybody, and am eager to take the next steps towards creating a web-based application. Please let me know what your recommend.
