This reminds me of something I came across the other day. It read: They Fooled You About the Real Story of Robin Hood 1. Robin Hood doesn't steal from the rich 2. He steals from the king and his cronies 3. When he gives back to the poor, he is returning their property to them 4. It is not an act of charity or redistribution of wealth, but a rebellion against the state 5. Now, think about why they constantly teach the story wrong

One caveat, it also teaches about a righteous government. Robin was a Loyalist to the rightful King. He was loyal to the righteous, Christian King that was off fighting a righteous, Christian cause. Robin was fighting the false King that was sitting on the throne in the absence of the righteous King. The righteous, Christian King didn't/wouldn't tax his people into oblivion like the false King. Robin was trying to maintain the ways of the righteous King.

I 100% agree with your thesis. A flat tax of 1% across the board rich or poor would be more than enough. Over taxing is massive theft! Most wealthy people pay more in taxes than 1000 average people will pay in a lifetime.

This video is so relatable to us in Kenya. There have been massive protests in the country against high taxation with little to no public service provision because our legislators are looting public coffers, introduction of "new" taxes that just don't seem to make sense, entrepreneurship is proving to be a challenge because.....over taxation. It don't make no sense at all! Business people are looking for cheaper and alternative service providers just so they can avoid paying higher taxes and so that they can reduce taxable operational costs. It be like that some times 😪

Some of this isn’t accurate. One of the first points is business could pay you more if we weren’t taxed. But wages is an expense and taxes is calculated after wages. So paying higher wages would lower taxes. But big business doesn’t care about paying their employees they care about their shareholders. So there needs to be some distinction between publicly traded corporations and private businesses

Most Politicians doesnt understand or have never really created wealth. But we cant just generalize on some of the stuff that Myron is saying. We cant just generalize on the word Tax. There are different kinds of taxes. Three of the Basic taxes in most countries: 1)Sales Tax 2)Income Tax 3)Inheritance Tax Sales Taxes are popular cos they are the same for all, meaning you pay at the point of consumption the same rate regardless of your ability to pay. You are correct that letting the rich pay more can sometimes hurt business and irritate those who are taxed more. The reason why they tax based on peoples ability to pay is simply cos they can afford to pay it. Bear in mind everyone has to pay taxes since we all use goods/services/infrastructures such as bridges and roads etc that we didnt pay to build. We could argue that the more richer you get it means the more you are benefiting from the value added by these infrastructures. We should not conflate the purpose to which the taxes are used to negate the validity or the necessity for their collection since the collection is simply a recognition of people/companies playing their part to benefit the whole and increase future business opportunities. So Paying taxes also serve the purpose of strengthening the base environment so your business will increase output/profitability in future. Key is to get involved in monitoring who is spending the taxes and bring some influence to bear on them to help to direct the spending of the taxes collected Eitherway There are levelers to balance the amount that each person/company is paying Thats called Deductibles. Whereby The Goverment simply allow businesses/and individuals to deduct expenditures that that are used to reduce your tax payable as long as you meet the requirments such as business related expenses or special deduction that a Government may grant. So its not just cut-dry Tax as Myron is stating in a general way!

I respect your opinion and in theory it kinda makes sense BUT I neither agree nor disagree. As a middle class citizen who is a major contributor to the economy by supporting both big businesses AND the low income, we can't afford the same amount as taxes as the wealthy. The rich have so many tax write-offs and shelters to protect them, and the lower class or impoverished, have so many programs and benefits that we can't take part of because we are "over income". All the scholarships go to the immigrants and welfare recipients meanwhile we are increasing our debt by taking out loans to pay for our children to go to an institution and pray that they are either born a genius or an Olympic hopeful, just to get a little assistance. Ok I'm done venting🤦🏾‍♀️ but a tax increase for us is going to look a WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT than it does for you.. Your money and investments are earning interest and revenue that the middle class cannot rival because the amount that we are taxed takes more money than we have to invest. So we are going to feel 10% of $200,000 a lot harder than someone making $200,000,000 because that $9,000,000 worth of interest accruing will help soften the blow I'm sure. If the low income families aren't taxed, it's only fair that the rich pay more taxes than the middle class. It's the pecking order. When I become wealthy, I will definitely not be complaining especially if I'm living below my means💯

I agree with Myron that it is stupid to tax American private businesses. American private business entities that are stateside should not only be tax free but they should have all their employees on Medicare. No payroll tax…nada. They are a blessing to our economy. I agree with Myron that much of what is done at the federal level should be transitioned to the state level. Especially education. I disagree with Myron on his general attitude toward the process. The US infrastructure despite its flaws, helped to make him a millionaire. Does the tax code need changed? Yes. Does the spending need to be reigned in? Yes. But there are somethings that are needed in government. Medicare expansion could actually help all our businesses for example. What if your business didn’t have to get involved with health insurance? There is bad gubment and good gubment. Myron’s attitude here is way too myopic.

Think about it - he has had great success with no pressure to go overseas but he says the government is forcing companies to go overseas. Greed is making many companies go overseas. There are thousands of brands who produce their products in America - why have they not gone overseas? This video seems very partisan.

I agree with a flat tax however that would mean the rich would still need to pay more than they currently pay because of the many loop holes and shelters they use to their advantage. Secondly it's a fact that bankers are among the richest in the country and the government or people bailed them out. That's a head scratcher. I believe there's more balance rather than just saying "it's stupid to tax rich people." A lot of rich operate from greed using the worker to further their dynasty. It's not because they care about the people unless they're raised with a compassion for others. Other countries pass on the prosperity once they reach a pinnacle to their work force however in our country we line our pockets deeper not thinking of the needs of the Frontline workers. I absolutely love the knowledge shared here and that you challenge us to think godly and as individuals.

I get what you're saying, but it's a bit out of touch with people who aren't rich. What's your point? To make people who aren't rich bow down and capitulate to the wealthy and other business owners just because they work for you? That almost reminds me of some ol' slave vs. Master mentality. We should be grateful for the scraps of the business owners in this country that can't even afford to pay their workers decent wages because doing so, threatens their wealth, and their lifestyles. Yall don't want to pay more taxes or higher wages. They go hand in hand in my opinion, but, anyway, God Bless You!!❤

@canwejustloveeachother2550 I respect your point of view, but I think mine and yours are both valid. I'm not conditioned to anything! I was born, raised, and currently live in this America. Each time I make more, I am taxed more. Should someone who is super wealthy be exempt from the same thing, because isn't that essentially what happens? If you gripe and complain about being rich or wealthy, and you're being taxed more, then you aren't as wealthy as you'd like other people to believe. Wealthy people have write-offs and all sorts of tax breaks that the average person will never know. Isn't it humbling to know that you may not be as rich as you think, compared to the super wealthy, who could cough and sneeze at the few little extra taxes they might have to pay? I digress.

@RDRGUY15 You didn't watch the entire video or didn't listen. Most who have more, legitimately, understand the cosmic law of sowing and reaping, along with the maturity and/or compassion to give...that's HOW many get more. The choice is exercised to give as or to whom he or she pleases. In other words , also an example as mentioned in video, Dr. Golden DOES give more...to charities and others of which many are unaware. It does not and should not have to mean "to the government".

I like your videos Dr. Golden. You are a wealth of knowledge. I think in this video you are wrong about a few things: For example, you said that the government is forcing business to go overseas. The businesses are not being forced to go overseas. They don't have to go overseas. My elementary school teacher used to say, "The only thing you have to do is stay black and die." Greed is forcing many businesses to go overseas. There are many companies that proudly make things in America (hence "Made in America"). Often the business who want to make more money for shareholders and don't care about their employees go overseas. Also, you said that you are an unpaid laborer for the government because you have to collect taxes from your employees. Why would you suggest you are unpaid when in many of your prior videos you talk about how well paid you are? Bro, you don't fly commercial anymore. You own many nice pricey things - which you deserve. With respect it is silly to suggest that you are unpaid. I appreciate your messages brother Golden. I just think that it is inconsistent to make it seem as if business are being punished when they are making record profits and you yourself are doing very very well.

@@canwejustloveeachother2550 you are very conditioned. You can't see the irony of someone who constantly talks about how wealthy he is but then saying that he is unpaid because he has to do payroll tax related things. Also, you obviously did not listen to the video well. He even acknowledged that you pay more taxes because you make more money. For example, he paid much more taxes than you did because he makes much more than you do. Of course you should pay more for making more. That is basic math. If you have an issue with the percentage of tax paid then you should talk about what the percentage should be.

They don't have to go overseas but they have to so that they don't out outprice themselves globally. Imagine a company like apple is not in China... most of us in third world countries wouldn't be able to afford. So we would prefer alternatives. That's not greed. Apple don't want only American market. They want a global market hence the china move You weren't paying attention to the video because you just wanted to tag it silly. Uncle Myron said he helps the government gather and remit taxes of his employees. He pays somebody to do that. And the government does not pay him for the good work he does for the them. Hence the word unpaid The video is not about business not making profit. Its talking about how taxing the rich affects the poor. So if someone is happy with the idea of taxing the rich because they aren't, then that person should have a rethink. That's the purpose of this video. If you love wearing Nike and the government taxes it unnecessarily. Don't you know the prices of your next Nike purchase will be increased. Your criticism of this video is coming from a political view point. Uncle Myron shouldn't have hashtag Trump so as not to get emotional response to something very logical
