Bro this video is a godsend! Ive been thinking and saying exactly what you said in this video for a long time. It really does feel like the devs treat the playerbase like garbage when they complain about long time or new bugs. And when theres any amount of community backlash they either half ass fix it *eventually* or introduce some new buggy thing to tide people over just long enough for people to stop complaining for a bit longer. *Cough* buggy ass cat update *cough* AND MY GOD THE BUGS HAVE BEEN TERRIBLE AS OF LATE. As someone who has been playing since before first wipe, I swear it feels like the game is approaching early app lab stages of buggy again. Sure your backpack doesnt get launched into the stratosphere if you look at it the wrong way. (Even then it still has a pretty high chance of falling through the floor in basement of Silo) Oh and dont even get me started on the glitch that was around last wipe where if you jumped a little too close to the ceiling in silo you got instakilled by a invisible kill barrier. Or even better the glitch earlier this wipe where your armor DID ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING! I remember running missile raids in tier 5 and getting killed torso shots with a MP-40!? And a UMP. BOTH FMJ!?!? Keep in mind this was before they added blunt force trauma damage with guns. (Kinda stupid if you ask me because armor is nerfed enough already imo but yk) And after they supposedly fixed the armor penetration glitch my friend have been just tanking AP rounds naked in the forehead close quarters in silo all the time so like. Oh yeah and the trader thing. I personally have never been past level 2 and have never levelled a trader EVER. Its just too goddamn grindy. Only reason I have level 2 is because I bought the nuclear night DLC pack shortly before the meta store launch event. Its really stupid how grindy the traders are. Im even a bit more then a casual player and its still a pain in the ass for me. Also theres a shitload of other in game bugs that are just associated with being left handed like myself. Like the reconnect system can spawn you in completely backwards. And it always breaks your holsters and makes them right handed. (Like the holster isnt just floating on the left side normally anyways) Its kinda annoying tbh how unpolished thw game is for left handed people like me. I remember trigger discipline wasnt even added for lefties until like a wipe or two ago. And they still havent fixed the holster still being on the right side to everyone else. (The pistol even appears backwards in the holster 😂) Theres so many other glitches i could touch about like boss armor falling through the map and or flying away. Or open bolt guns just randomly emptying the ammo out the mag when you join a raid. Theres just so many stupid bugs like this that have been around forever.

One more thing i have noticed was that in my raids i would notice the same people that i would kill or get killed by. Its always the same names for most raids. And also i have traded with people this wipe more than ever. Played 4 raids yesterday and traded in 2. Lost a bunch of good kits sadly

There are a lot of bugs with the UI (like the one in your hideout or the tabor market shop screens), multiple times in the tabor market it has said i have 0 korunas, and 0 doesnt equal 650k i dont think, quest menu bugs, nothing shows up in the hideout. They need to fix shit instead of adding it, now there are exceptions for things we have been waiting for a long time like the eastwood dlc (almost half a year)

I play on quest and I haven't really experienced much bugs but Ghosts of tabor has many glitches or bugs that need more attention like scabs not dying or landing heads hots. But personally I think combat waffle studios will fix these bugs

They fix bugs that aren't game breaking like the bug where you could get more rations than the timer allowed by spamming the deliver button. But they don't fix annoying bygs. For example a bug on quest where a lot of areas give you an earthquake where basically your frames drop, your hand movement is delayed and also just shaky when it's not supposed to be. (noticed on matka and island when it used to not be this way)

Yeah I feel like you should start at the hottom of your pyramid and work your way up when working on bugs issues and such. It kind of blows my mind. Yeah if we are working on a car you start with little issues first but tabor isn’t a car you know? It’s a little silly

I bought "Into the Radius" as a training game to have a solo extraction experience and practice my aim. Fell in love with ITR and didn't want to go back to Tabor. But I am saying that I am not the only one, I have seen a ton of people use other games to practice to play against Tabor try hards. Just to lose interest and not come back.

Thats the thing that trips me out. Is how bad combat waffle disrespects the player base. Devs got to comfortable with acting like they do no wrong, cant take any criticism, they're like kids bro! I stopped playing because the wipe came with broken items and no real new content, no visual upgrade, no new maps, same boring missions,more specific streamer crap,i loaded in 3 times fully kitted and loaded in all times with all my items gone. I cant wait till someone makes somthing like this with better visuals and contractors showdown movements. If meta studios were smart they'd make a poished exfil shooter with how much demand there is for a game like this right now.

I completely understand your reasoning but they are a small dev team and they are trying their best, many wipes with new content are going tk be buggy at first, they ALWAYA fix 90% of the bugs within a few days or weeks, and new visuals graphics wise are difficult for quest due to having to optimize the game, and new maps take a long time to be good, detail and quality takes time

@FrostyLemon. I would excuse it 100%, but the fact of the matter is that the studio is disrespectful and immature, that easily made me lose respect for them and not take them seriously anymore. Being a small dev team and this that and the third I don't care. That's old news, you got money, millions, won game of the year, are releasing a bunch of adds working on two completely different games. The studio is talking about being warlords in the new Mars game. Like dudes. You still have a broken unfinished game that can run better then what it is on the quest 3. I'm so sick of people making excuses for developers unprofessional behavior, and excuses. Combat waffle has a skill issue at being respectable professionals!

@@FrostyLemon. Small dev team is not an excuse when we're discussing issues that have plagued the game in the long-term. With new bundles coming out pretty often, a consumer could dump some considerable capital into the product. A smaller development team is bound to have bugs in their game, sure, but when you say things like "skill issue" or outright belittle paying customers because "muh game should be hard", you can't use that excuse anymore.

The Trader levels are my Numb.1 problem with this game man. It took me 13 hours a day for 5 days in a row just to get spectre level three this wipe. I'm homeschooled so i have time to play the game and practice, but i hate wasting so much time just to get to 3, that amount of grinding should get you level 5 on at least 2 traders. Another big problem is the players and have they interact, i understand that the whole moto is to trust nobody, and I'm not going to act innocent I kill lots of Timmys at gunpoint, but some people really need to start giving them a chance time to time because most players who don't understand the whole learning curve will get the game -> die 100 times -> Refund.

My major issue in the game is the servers. I live far away from the NA ones while living in the middle of Canada. Most other games I normally get around 30-40 ping but in tabor I get upwards of 100 ping. I was playing underground I was holding an angle waiting to extract. A hear a guy pushing me. I hit him in the head he dies but I die to him shortly after. I thought I won the gun fight and didn’t trade with him. I have been playing since the second public wipe. Got the spoon got most the dlc I really like this game but the performance on quest and on my gtx 1650 laptop which surprises that it’s even running is poor. I cant run matka meist. But for me it’s not 1.0 yet so I can ignore the issues so far. I have never encountered a bug that really pissed me off. There was some that inconvenienced me but it never made me quit.

That’s honestly completely fair. It’s definitely a struggle playing on a GTX cause I used to have a 1660 and I could hardly run it while I streamed. Even with my 3070 I experience some issues here and there with the games performance. It truly is an amazing VR title. It just needs some tweaks and bugs fixed and it’ll be smooth sailing

the games does everything for me as a tarkov fan and i love competetive games for a vr "tarkov" game i think the competetive aspect is essential for this type of game i guess for more casual players they can expand the pve mode but i dont see that happening as most people at least i know of have come for that vr tarkov

I’ve been playing since launch and I agree when you say it takes long to level up traders, I think I have only leveled up 2 traders to level 2 once. Ive stopped playing because I can’t seem to get good consistent kills with the issues the game has. I have been 1 tapped with a helmet with a face shield by a macorov. Love the competition but don’t play the game because I don’t want to waste 30 min a raid to mag dump someone and then get 1 tapped.

Seriously it takes TOO much effort to me to get those leveled up. And yes seriously it’s so stupid getting head eyes’ed whenever you were shooting someone in the same area in the same way. It’s all RNG

It took me around 3 days of f total playtime to get trader level 3 by hard focusing one trader ( specter ) but I have never got minty level 2 because they have no simple quest that give a decent amount of exp and even with the more expensive quests, they’re still extremely difficult because most of them are like, certain amounts of raids, or certain amounts of deaths, like I have been improving my aim on this game but it’s still pretty bad. So like if they added more quest for minty, like collecting armor for here or bags, it would make it son much easier if there were collector quest for all traders.

I simply cannot get it done without spending atleast a week heavy grinding 4 hours a day. And I HATE doing that in vr

I've had 1 kit lost in spawn in 80 hours. Some of these complaints come from having older systems or first few days of wipe bugs. There are some bugs but it's not as bad as everyone says. As for the scav headshots those guys have a spray. It probably doesn't aim for the head but center mass and it goes wide and happens to hit the head because of spread and recoil. The Raid timer is to prevent people doing naked runs, grabbing key cards and high tier items and bouncing which games like tarkov have and it makes it harder for everyone else to get these items.

I understand but I still think it's a horrid feature. raid timer smells to me. but all the other stuff u said is right I must agree (not that what u said about the raid timer isn't legit fact I just don't like it personally :)

I don’t think scavs shouldn’t headshot you if you’re wearing good armor, but I do think they need to make helmets useful. All of the helmets barely stop 556 which makes sense but I think they need to make higher caliber guns rarer.

scott has made his community a bunch of assholes by pushing the whole “skill issue” motive. when in reality its a game issue. they focus on adding things like streamer items and everything. this wipe i run night raids and load in way late in the raid. i loaded into one and me n my duo were the only 2 kids in the raid til around the 25 minute mark then kids start coming in. the games dying and CWS is too childish to listen to their community.

It really does break my heart cause some of them are just kids that know no better. And yeah that experience just doesn’t feel good for either side. It’s so defeating. Loading late into raid and having to rush around to loot is horrible. Having to wait for 20 minutes for people to fight while you kill all the scavs for everyone sucks. You can tell it’s slowly losing its player base with how many people run in late

I'm a very new player, and even from just hearing about it from these videos, if this is how the developers of this game treat the people who pay to play the game, then this game is doomed. I've never understand why developers think they can treat their paying customers like this, and because they say skill issue all the time, and refuse to fix the things that people want them to fix, then this game is just going to die.

I’ve just experienced a lot of crashes leaving raid or loading into raid. I have a 3070 and a Ryzen 7600, with 32 gigs of DDR5 ram. so it’s more than capable of playing tabor

Only problem i have with tabor is its to easy, i play for a few weeks of wipe then start to get bored because im endgame, i dont understand how peoples problems are that the game is to hard. Theres a reason tabor players say everything is a skill issue is because it is.

I know its super petty, but i stopped playing when my username got banned from the game/discord. I joined the discord, asked what the song was that played at a vendor was, a mod or dev actually gave me an answer, but also told me to change my name. I was in the middle of typing out a thank you response when they pinged me with "stop typing and start changing your name now" so i just said thanks and left. The only reason I can think that a sexual innuendo username would be removed is if they have/want a child playerbase.. and uhh I didn't think shooting and looting when your game wants to look like tarkov is very child friendly.

@@JudoPotat0 Well I was able to reconnect after 4 attempts that one time, but I was also put into a whole new lobby, without my gear ofc. Not sure if that counts. It seems like if an individual disconnects, but the raid has active players, you can reconnect. But if everyone temporarily loses connection at the same time… that raid ceases to exist. Based on what I’ve heard from people. So a sub 15min remaining disconnect is a death sentence.

I only got one question, what is your source for it losing players?

For me it’s the constant extract campers, cheaters, it’s every single raid, I’ve peeked a window for half a second and I got headshot with a ruger from radio hill. I was running purple this guy behind a rock shot me from 90 meter to the head on his first shot with a hunter and then he killed my teammate to the head on his second shot. It’s constantly people doing scummy strategies.

The game is not perfect and no one said it was. Its in alpha release. Everyone talks about comparing it to all of the things tarkov does better but no one realizes thats an alpha game also with a lige span about 2 thirds the size of tabors. On the trader level thing it is supposed to be a grind but it is doable. If you cant get to level 2 in your traders something about your play style is wrong and is getting you killed. You gotta analyze every interaction. Thats what makes it not a casual game. If you are going out there at any point to just fuck off then 9 times out of 10 a better prepared player will be waiting because thats the game. Its not meant to be played casually ever. Thats why they dont bugse on their position. They dont want to water their game down for everyone else when there is a market for everyone else to go to. They are looking for a niche on a niche. Last wipe i had leveled up in this order, jiri lvl 3, spectre lvl 4, and minty lvl 3. Even the traders you choose will help you out if you know which ones to do first. Jori gets you ap ammo and is pretty to easy to do inside of a week on silo. After that start grinding spec which is the longest if you want better equipment to throw that ap or minty if you wanna survive longer with it. This game makes me lose sleep and lose my shit. I love it and hate it. Im personally taking this wipe easy because of the whole unforseen wipe deal but that doesnt mean im abandoning it. Hell i maybe played 10 or 12 raids for all of the first two wipes because i knew it was something special they just needed to cook. Then on the third wipe i got really into and started researching everything i could about. Ill be the first one to say im not good but i went from barely being able to level up one trader on my first full wipe to getting every trader at least level 3. Its possible but IT IS A GRIND. As far as CWS goes, just let em cook. Im sure by this time next year the game as it stands now will be a ghost of what it will become. Just like the old bunker days are now.

I understand your argument but you're just completely ignoring what I said in the video completely. I understand it's a small company and they're making a VR game. I know it's hard. but if they're going to address every bug and issue with "Skill Issue" "Intelligence Gap" "Get Better" you better damn well have all your girl scout cookies in order. now if you think the trader leveling system is even remotely reasonable then we can just agree to disagree. because my Quest 3's battery life is 2 hours. it also has to charge for 2 hours. I have 2 hours A DAY TOPS to play tabor. and if I keep it plugged in I could maybe get 3 to 4 hours. but who wants to be in VR for 4 hours??? I don't think it should take 50 to 60 hours to get traders all level 2. and if you don't believe me scroll through the comments yourself man. there are MANY players in this comments section talking about how annoying the leveling is. and idk where you pulled out analyzing every death.. They know their player retention rate is low. They know they aren't going to hook every player that plays the game and they are okay with that because they don't want every player. They want to make a game for the people that want to play a game like this. If you only have 2 hours a day to play then your time will be better spent playing a different game because this game will always be a game where it's high risk high reward for someone that wants more than casual gameplay. If you just want to hop on and get some kills from time to time then you need to find another game to play. I have extracted maybe 10 times this wipe and I'm okay with that because that's the game. I need to adjust my play style if I want to continue playing and if I can't hack it I don't need to be playing it. Assassin's Creed was a 16-18 hour game but I played it all because I wanted to. If you don't want to play something that you have to sink a lot of hours into then this game isnt for you.

im also 13 and i have school home work projects but luckailly im a try hard and i try my best regardless and i hit all my shots 80% of the time but yes i want casual players to have fun to and leave the raid not to jsut loot all game and get shit on by someone like me which usually has more than 4 hours to play

Tabor devs are like politicians they avoid the problems and dont fix them and try to find temporary fixes when the height glitch was around it took them 2 months to fix it when it could be fixed in like a couple hours.

The game is supposed to be difficult though? That is why they are adding these features. While these bugs are annoying, they cant just "fix it". Bugfixing takes time, and they have already fixed a lot of bugs.

Not saying I want it to be a point and click adventure MMORPG I just think the state the games in only rewards try hard players and grinding. Don’t thjnk that’s a good business model for any game if they have such a small player base as this one day. Very niche audience and for the more experienced players it’s fun but for newer players they’ve completely taken away anything that played in their favor

oh absolutely I understand it's hard to develop games. especially VR games. ESPECIALLY when its 3 of them. (if theyre all VR) but you know. you gotta make sure your families fed before feeding someone elses. and they're too worried about their new games so their GOOD game isn't getting any love.

Am i the only one on quest 2 who sights on rifles aren't aligned properly? Pistols sights are perfect. Fucking rifles lone up the iron sights and gun is shooting low. Put on a red dot or any sightsin general and still shooting low. Point of aim and point of impact are wayyyy different

NOPE i've dealt with this on the occasion too. once I got a quest 3 the issues with that went away but alot more issues came with it too

I know you probaly don't know alot about guns and combat but in real life armour piercing sucks for expansion obviously because its meant to stay intact to pierce armour so it should do less damage than fmj. And also in real life a person can survive 15 shots of 5.56 enspecially easily even when it comes to a clean shot all people react differently so it would be hard to code and not even tarkov can do it realistically. But what im saying is you were using logic to make it realistic but in real life you just dont know if someone is gonna die in one clean shot or that dude is gonna take 10 rounds to the chest and still be standing.

I’m a gun owner brother. If you get shot in the head and neck with armor piercing regardless of expansion and regardless of how streamline the bullet will go through you. It is going to make you unable to raise a gun up and hit your target. 2nd off whenever it hits the armor it’s going to tumble or expand slightly from hitting that surface so it actually will do more damage than you’re thinking. And I understand your argument if you’re saying it takes more than one shot. So why did I die in one shot if that’s the case? We both aimed for the head and my bullets just didn’t count? You proved my point without me even trying. I love you tho ❤

And in real life yes you can still raise your gun and shoot at people if you get shot in the head like the jaw or miss vital zones in the neck that was just a straight up lie or you just did not know which is fine. So after yes i know when an armour piercing hits hard plates its going to fragment into the body depending how strong the material is yes i know. And the most important part is you missed my point i was not talking about your dispute between that guy. I was saying if you but it realistic some people survive 15 rounds and some people die in one you missed when i said that. And ''You proved my point without me even trying'' I dont remember what your point was i forgot so I cant really say anything on this. You truly are right vital organs being hit takes into accountability when shooting at a live target. You could possibly shoot your gun if your adrenalines pumping hard enough. Armor piercing also doesn’t have knock down power like a regular round or hollow point does so it definitely wouldn’t knock you out. You’re right about that. I just think my bullets were hitting his nose, frontal lobe, neck and lungs technically. And unless an armor piercing bullet got stopped on his rib cage I should’ve killed him first. But regardless i truly am sorry I was rude and passive aggressive. Not everyone is as nice as you were. I just took it wrong that’s honestly my mistake man ❤❤❤ it’s all love and I hope you can forgive me that was fucked up

i bought the game on its applab release and holy shit i hated the trip to here i put so much money into the game i bought the independence ed cuz i was to late to ff and guess what i got a dumb patch free dlcs (future to) and what. at the start of wipe my friend that got the game recently gets more lvl3 rigs than me he only has NL edition .its a scam dude.

Well I think you like beans on toast? No seriously it's hit or miss. since i've gotten the Quest 3 it's definitely died down with the random janky goofy shit. reloading is still a pain on the occasion depending on the gun but it may just be a Meta issue not a tabor issue. so hats off tbh

gunplay is bad, the game is buggy, and it feels way more cartoony than tactical. this is not tarkov VR. it wants to be, but it is nowhere close. its almost like they dont even test the game. they hate to take responsibility for their shitty decisions, they add nothing, and its shit.

In the fix list they fixed a lot of things if you a ACTUALLY LOOK

Most of the takes on this video are basically you not knowing what even happens when they introduce all the different stuff Raid timer was introduced so people dont just grab gpus/purples extract in 2 minutes and when everyone does that raid becomes dead. Imagine being mad at the fact that devs actually make you play the game and not just run to one point and exfil simulator The changes to the island with removing houses were made because those houses were causing performance issues and iirc some other stuff to it so its not just because they wanted to change it Fenix headshotting was removed when they started dealing 0 damage to the head but this wipe its bugged and they headshot again but it will get fixed where scavs cant headshot you again Server crashing happens VERY rarely and when it does you will get a gear refund in 24 hours. If they gonna look into every crash that isnt a server crash and refund every players gear its gonna be just a wasted time. Instead of fixing the said crashes lets just waste time and give people refund. Not smart idea is it? Most people saying that they got shit on by the community usually come to discord shit on devs and community telling how shit the game is and how devs not doing anything to fix it. Come to ANY game community with such words and you will get shit on its not just GoT thing. People who actually come to discord and suggest shit without shitting on anyone rarely get shit on(except some toxic people in the community but again every community has those) having difficulties with lvling traders to 2 is just a skill issue imo because it requires completing like 5 missions to get lvl2 but they are reworking missions and it should make it easier to get starting lvls from what I know Tabor losing players is dumb take too. They are getting 6k peak players which is a lot for a vr game. Basing your argument on steam charts is weird because most people arent pcvr. They are standalone. There is a website that tracks all the different statistics about GoT and if you look for the last month playercount was practically the same from day to day And GoT is game in beta. Its only a year in and if you compare it to some games like you said you like tarkov it took them 8 or so years to be where they are now. Tarkov in 2016 is like GoT now. Give GoT 8 years as it took tarkov to be a great game and GoT will be a great game

1 raid timer could just not exist and then if you extract before a certain time you cannot get xp or sell the items you extract with. (90% of people that find gpu off rip are just sprinting to extract anyways and then sitting in a corner and extracting when the time is up) 2 the problem was not removing the houses it was the fact that it allowed them to actively avoid fixing a bigger problem while doing something small that made it seem like it was hard. 3 fenix headshotting was removed but its glitched and now it is still not fixed so effectively it is not removed... 4 not hard to give players items back... they can work on fixing crashes while also refunding the lost items due to THEIR MISTAKE.. 5 i joined the discord and simply asked if anyone elses bags where SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL and i got told it was a skill issue and to "maybe not take your bag off if you knew it was going to fly away" awesome suggestion instead of fixing the stupidest bug in the game. 6 and there it is the classic "skill issue". i dont think its hard to lvl up traders but good lord it takes way too long. if you arent a turbo virgin basement dweller that is. 7 i agree with you that it probably isnt losing players im not sure why that was ever a point when there isnt definite proof of it. 8 I have played tarkov for almost 4 years. it is an ADDICTING game but it is FAR from a great game. another case of terrible development, various glitches, horrible anti cheat, and random bans for accidentally bugging the game. having a mindset that is nothing but slobbing the knob of the developer is just as bad as someone who constantly hates... you just bloat the dev ego thinking they dont have to change anything and their game is already great and perfect. LIKEWISE hating on the game all the time completely makes the false assumption in peoples head that the game is terrible (its not). tabor is a very fun game with glitches that shouldnt happen sometimes but its a video game and there is no reason to lose your mind over it. enjoy the game but also be open to the fact that it isnt perfect.

How can changing 2 houses to tents slow down the fixing of bugs or avoid the problem of the same bugs 3 Fenix werent headshotting for a whole last wipe. And the bug will get fixed anyways and this bug has been knowledged by devs and the fact that they are going to fix it 4 They gonna look through tens of report of crashing daily trying to give their items back? Checking if the reports are actually valid and they dont just trying to lie for free loot. As I said waste of time. You gonna lose that gear with wipe anyways. 5 Channel for bug report exists. You should use it. And as I said there are people that can get toxic so 6 you can get lvl5 spectre in like 10 hours. If you play even 1 hour a day you can get it in 10 days which is nothing considering the length of the wipe 8 A lot of people compare GoT to other games(like tarkov) saying look how much content there is why GoT doesnt have it while forgetting that those games took much more then a year to develop. Never said the game is perfect. it has bugs. It has not much content(reason I dont play it rn) but I can understand that the game is in early access and just wait for new content updates and not complain about lack of content. If you dont like what the game is rn just dont play and come back later when there is new content. Noone stops you or forces you to play the game

I understand WHY they introduced the raid timer. but it did nothing because I can still camp the exfil and kill someone take their loot so it promotes camping and I can still run to GPU then exfil camp 1. 2 I don't really care about the house I was using it for an example as to there were bigger fish to fry like my entire game crashing in general. server crashing is bound to happen honestly it's a small company but I think it should be improved upon and focused upon instead of a coffee maker. most game communities aren't as rude as this one and if you don't agree you must be one of them. kind of seems that way you're commenting this. calling me dumb and my take etc. this comment section is meant for genuine discussions. not children belittling me for my opinion. please get better man. I love you. I do agree with time it can improve and become the best VR game out there. but from the 10 friends I've met off tabor and not 1 playing it with me. to me taking 5 minutes to find a raid when it used to take 1, to my viewers telling me they don't play tabor anymore because its not fun anymore, to streamers abandoning the game off of gambling ring allegations and an unstable experience. it's losing players.. It just is. and Yeah I know steam charts doesn't count. more of used that photo in the last videos thumbnail as an example? quest servers are loads different and thats where most of my viewers/friends etc come from. BUT STILL regardless of where you look it's a decrease. if you can show me an stat that says different I'll listen and agree. but check the comment section for yourself please. because many players like me exist
