What I like about Homelander and Omni-Man is there strength feels "real" in the sense that they're still living human(oids)? Like real living creatures. To make this a more meaningful comparison you need to choose a specific iteration of superman, not just anything any superman has ever done. I would personally pick superman from the DCAU to compare to Omni-Man, that would be a much more interesting match up as his feats aren't nearly as incredible for the runtime of those shows.

@@Brotherjc26 sure I can. Its poorly written, shallow, and lacking in substance. The over use of bad dialogue makes it worse. Kirkman is not a good writer. He has one trick. GORE. GORE. And more GORE. Hence the intestines and entrails and such. But violent doesn't = deep or complex. Superman is actually a much more complex and complicated character.

@@Brotherjc26 I love the complexity in superman. He's a pinocchio figure. A cosmic space god who only wants to be a real boy. He represents the "nature vs nurture" debate. He asks the question: "what does it really mean to be human?". He violates the premise of absolute power corrupting absolutely, and he doesn't fight people, but fights to save people from themselves. This makes him a great aspirational figure. The movies don't do him justice. He tells batman off regularly and is no pushover. He just doesn't do "dark".

Maybe Wonder Woman vs Omni-man would have been a better comparison.

Omni-man is not retconned with really stupid powers over and over, his growth was shown in the comics properly. He shows realistic growth according to the world built in the comics. Superman just gets whatever power he needs from the writer to try and make it interesting. Marvel does some stupid stuff scaling, but DC is on a whole nother level of stupid (electric superman, I remember the backlash). I want to see Action Comics Superman vs OmniMan

Kryptonite - it must be taken in consideration. Batman was able to defeat superman with some cheap tricks and kryptonite. Imagine what OmniMan could do with it.

All of the Superman that ever existed is now cannon into one Superman, so Superman is quite possibly the most powerful hero to ever exist. Meaning, you can include him sneezing away planets or casually pulling a solar system to this list.

What if we talk about the strongest version of Superman and you say, Omniman beats him? I do love invincible, but you guys gotta read the DC comics it doesn’t mean if you love the character it can beat the character. You just have to power scale to know who is the really the winner. Can’t wait for another invincible movie the other ones was perfect and amazing 🤩 and epic… tomorrow this KZreadr is going to make another video about fighting Denco.. let’s just say that Superman is a great character, but I don’t feel like he’s like the levels of greatest like the invincible characters

Thats just it though... Omni-man fans expect Omni to face Supes at his damn weakest, so they can claim Nolan is stronger.. lol Fact is.. even some of the weakest Superman versions out there have feats that make Omni-Man look like shit.. SHAZAM has the power of 6 Gods.. and Supes has regular combat with the guy and has even killed him in specific versions. Omni-man isnt even ready for General Zod, let alone Supes.

@@hellfirehatter5243 Umm yeah, Namor is not necessary more powerful than Aquaman. Sure, they're around the same strength and durability...but Aquaman is faster, more skilled and has better TP. And Deadpool isn't beating Deathstroke (as much I hate Deathstroke and his fans) because Slade has almost all the advantages over Wade aside from the healing factor.
