Hi Melissa! Your videos are great and very helpful! Do you know anything about Syntonics and its use in vision therapy? I also watch Dr. Julie Steinhauer and she uses it with all her patients. I developed esotropia later in life and find your explanations so easy to understand. Thanks!❤️

Thanks for your very informative video. My daughter had intermitent exotropia and not much binocular vision (can only see a bit 3D image from the side) before the surgery at 4 years old. Her eyes are aligned after the surgery. We continue to do pencil push up regularly and vision therapy as per dr advice. After two year (now 6) she develops more and more binocular vision, though not yet at normal level, she could see most of the 3D images in a test. I have been told that this development is very rare by the therapist (I dunno if it's true or not). Do you think that the strabismus surgery will work in the long term if one successfully develop binocular vision? Would people lose binocular vision when they get older?

It can definitely help! Being tired is a surefire way to make vision tougher!

There are many people who have wondered that! That wasn't the case for me, but who knows? The brain responds to stress in a lot of different ways.
