The Galactic Republic lasted for 25000 years. The Galactic Empire lasted for more or less 25 years. The CloneTroppers defeated the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Jedi Order. The StormTroppers got defeated by the Rebel Alliance to Restore the Republic. I got nothing else to add.

Clone troopers, are troopers, commandos: highly trained, battle hardened, experienced. Stormtroopers: treated like the CIS droids, expendable, and not as rigorously trained.

Galactic Republic: spent 2497 years without a dedicated army. Galactic Empire: Formed at the end of a war that destroyed the galaxy’s economy. Clone Troopers: Costed the Republic a fortune. Necessary for fighting a huge droid army. Easily tampered with by shifty creators leading to the Clone Uprising. Literal enslaved humans fighting for a cause they don’t even understand. Stormtroopers: Cost the Empire very little in a period where the economy was ravaged by the clone wars. Allowed citizens who may be homeless or refugees to enlist and serve. Suited for combat against insurgents and way more accurate than your average Rebel. Lost to the Rebel Alliance only when the freaking son of the most powerful Jedi joined in the war. Without Luke the Empire would’ve destroyed the rebel base. Literally only miss when shooting characters with plot armour (the average hit percentage of a stormtrooper is 77% which is around 7 times the percentage of US soldiers.) Conscription is optional.

Storm troopers has no way to win against the battle hardened clone troopers... sidious was wrong to replaced the clones because some of clones refuse order 66.. the empire will rule long if they had the clones as their standard military men..

Actually Palpatine was more afraid that someone would use Order 66 on him. Which has happened. That's why he got rid of the clones. There's also order 65 which is basically clones kill Palpatine.

The clones were expensive and the empire refuse to spend another dime for kaminoans, all those credits were use to build new ships and weapons. Why clones intirely stopped being use it's because their accelerate aging cause their combat efficiency poor over course of years. But the glaring fall is the inhibitor chip that still active on their brains cause any sense of their personalities wipe out turning the clones into mindless drones, and also the cost of their combat experience too making them poor in combat when dealing with early uprising rebels.

The clones where predictable, look up the new season of star wars the clone wars there is a few episodes where it is shown how predictable they really are. They are allso made from the same genetic material and palpatine feared that someone would make a genetic weapons against the clones and wipe his army out. And the fact that there was an order set for the clone to kill palpatine the same way order 66 worked.. and then the fact that they are made by aliens and that the kaninoans did make a batch of clones to fight against the empire...

Yeah, but the Stormtroopers were worried about being on the receiving end, of sharing the same fate as the Jedi. They're all fine and dandy with other people getting shot and killed, but they're not okay being the ones to get shot and killed themselves. At least that's how I took it from the video.

I think the canon definition is most certainly not fear, but one of respect. Take how the imperial who recognises rex reacts to his service record as an example. In canon, the clones were held as heros. As they should've been. Poor bastards ate so much shit in the clone wars.

Literally everyone in the imperial military was terrified of being turned on by vader or sidious. Sidious seems to show more restraint but vader seems to just butcher anyone who annoys or fails him.

I'm willing to bet that opinions of the clones from stormtroopers wouldve been as varied and diverse as the galaxy itself. Some wouldve seen them as described in your video, but there were probably just as many that looked to them as heroes. I'm sure there were many a stormtrooper that was once a kid on a planet occupied by the separatists that was liberated by the republic and enlisted in the empire to become as much like the heroes in white armor that saved their planet as possible.

I think many of the new recruits would have saw the veteran clone troopers as heroes especially if they were from a Outer or Mid Rim world that was occupied by the Separatists and was liberated by the clone troopers

Many probably did enlist in the Imperial Military because the saw their clone role models as famous heroes

part of the reason why Darth Sidious was quick to get rid of the Clones because the order 66 command would make them unreliable for Darth Vader and the the inquisitors.

He would be one of the olny Jedi to lead the Republic Navy effectively possibly rivaling Separatist commanders like Trench and General Grevious

CIS was technical good. Their leaders only wanted power, but the citizens and most political leaders want peace like the Republic. The Republic wanted everyone to follow them but the CIS didn't. Honestly, the Republic were basically tyrants.

@@dwightwashere7174 The Clone Army were basically slaves at the end of the day froced to fight a war for a government that cared little about them but they were still loyal to the Republic and later the Empire after the end of the Clone Wars until they were replaced by regular human recruits

I'm sure regular people just found the clones generally hard to work with you're looking at a group of clones who are all physically identical who've basically gone through Navy seals training since birth versus a bunch of ordinary people who were recruited even the clones having that clone brotherhood is very alienating to the regular stormtrooper. In fact I would say that goes against imperial training philosophy with TIE fighter pilots and Stormtroopers they're often seen pitted against each other but clones consider every clone brother everyone from a regular trooper to a pilot to a commander to a Navy bridge officer

Some clone veterans were pretty ruthless to new Imperial Stormtrooper recruits, really brutal, so not all veterans of the Clone Wars, if not most of them were pretty nasty to them so of course they wouldn’t like them, but they still respected them for their service.

STILL WAITING ON THIS NEW RETHINK VIDEO IDEA LORE GUY: WHAT IF THE EMPIRE MASS PRODUCED THRAWN'S TIE DEFENDER ELITE PROGRAM? Knowing how much there is on the topic, It will properly need more than 10 minutes as a video just to explain everything about it and what could happen in that situation next... please.

Clones had better aim and jokes aside Clones had wartime experiences and have trained from birth to fight and were more loyal to palptine then your average stormtrooper who was around for peacetimes.

If it was in the early days of the Empire's reign this lead to a massive revolt against Imperial rule

Rest assured, Commander Cody returned their hatred in spades.

Star Wars Rethink: If Order 66 went off accidentally (a year into the war or sooner).

I wish they would make a game/movie that allows the empire to be shown as good guys and use CIS holdouts as the bad guys. To make a more human and grey side to the empire instead of the black and white we get.

I feel for both. A small point of why the Imperials didn't like the Clones is just the clones thinking so highly of themselves the Imperials see and listen to that and think they are stuck up a**holes. Tbf, the clones were self-aggrandizing because of their battle prowess with human stormtroopers apparently being unworthy of being trained by them.

do I think the Stormtroopers feared the clones not really in the SW battlefront 2 game for PS2 a bunch of clones were made in secret to fight against the empire and the the empire star destroyers wiped them out

To effective clones a trained to kill. Stormtroopers are trained to do something

Long story short Clones are badass and could demolish a Stormtrooper barehanded

And everyone says the Empire would win against the Republic man they need to think again

I will agree that the Imperials were more scared then anything else. The Clones were 'made to the order of' weapons and not from the moment they entered to world. They were literal 'natural born killers' and ones that could think on their own.....to some degree, a far more degree then any Imperial. An Imperial soldier or Storm Trooper or Naval personnel (can they really be called 'Sailors' if they don't 'sail'?) don't have the capacity to think on their own (again to 'some degree') and that is 'by design' as Palpatine (as well any Dictator) can't have a free thinking populace. True, the officers can have some free thinking but again that is 'by design' as you can't have a military ran by complete idiots. The clones however can think on their own and being that 'literal born killer' is a deadly mix. Basically, when the clones killed the Jedi, they became the next in line for the title of 'deadest in the galaxy'. If they were breed earlier, lets say twenty years before the events of Phantom Menace, with a slower rate of aging instead of a quick aging, then one clone would be worth a soldier, Naval and Storm trooper. The most basic clone would be the most elite Imperial military, becuase the clones that we got, their most basic soldier was the most elite Imperial military. So yes, the Imperials had a good reason to fear the Republic clones of the Clone wars.

Where do you get that nobody knew about order 66? Orser 66 was a public order, what was secret about it was the chips that would _force one to obey it._ Unless you're rex, then you're just a bad ass. Lol But yeah, the order was a public one among many orders of the republic. It was a contingency rightly made due to the _years_ of ex jedi becoming sith. It was most certainly a public order. And everyone agreed with it, or at least everyone who followed imperialistc views. which by the end of the clone wars, was many. So there ya go. Not sure where you're getting that idea from, but whatever.

I don’t like imperial clones. They were all mostly cocky pricks that consider themselves superior. The stormtroopers were very capable soldiers. But they get the bad reputation from when they are compared to clones. The stormtroopers were far better troops than the rebel troops. And I’m pretty sure the imperial stormtrooper armour was better. But if I was a stormtrooper I would respect the clones because they were combat veterans and they have much experience that they could teach me and my fellow troops

As much as I love star wars, Warhammer 40k wins because for a simple reason; scale. Clones are deadlier than any Astra Millitarum soldier yes, but a lazgun that can't do shit in Warhammer does a hell of a lot in other franchises when you look at the numbers. This isn't even accounting for the Adeptus Astartes and their bolters or any of chaos. The only hope the star wars universe really has is that the force is more reliable than chaos and their FTL travel, hyperspace, is more reliable than Warhammers FTL jumps into the Warp.

The empire was stupid anyways. Palpatine should have listened to thrawn and built more capital ships and tie fighters and had better training for NCOs and commissioned officers instead of stupid super weapons with easily exploited catastrophic weaknesses or invest more in the dark trooper programs
