Thanos didn't think about storm breaker as key to Eternity because storm breaker was created between th infinity war.....when Thanos almost got 5 infinity stones.....and he got sixth from vision and all he had to do to complete his quest was to snap....so h snapped..... simply at the tym Thanos was planning how to half the population of universe storm breaker was not created....I hope u get itt... 🙂
So MCU just gave him similar role as RKT here called saving the whole Multiverse rather than simply giving him those powers
The base Architecture of this movie is good that's why we cannot call it bad hence the mixed reactions the problem is it lacks depth needed to create the impact it missing of depth making this movie a lite version but if depth were added to all scenes and more details this movie can became one of the best movies that's the problem now many people asking for director cut but I am doubt that director shot the depth and details required to add that it may require reshoot now I can be wrong about the director cut and will be highly glad to be wrong But the missing depth and details has made this movie a extremely light version For example the movie is like a abbreviated version of a instance happened like we all hear about something so required depth can make this movie a better one

Theory: Remember in The Avengers and Love and Thunder whenever Thor leaves he lefts a circular ancient symbol type mark and if you again watch love and thunder the door to eternity has the same symbol on it maybe its not thor it is strombreaker only who leaves the symbol that is why strombreaker is the key to eternity not the only key it one of the key to eternity maybe because as covered by B2 bhai bifrost can be the key to Eternity that means anything that can summon or use bifrost is the key to eternity it means Mjolnir is also a key to eternity I guess.

Why did the thor didnot think about any weapon(stormbreakor) to fight against hela in ragnarok after mjolnir was destroyed. If there was a stormbreakor with thor in ragnarok, then the whole scenario may be different as it was in infinity war.
One doubt is there that how gorr was able to open by frost from stormbreaker and when Thor commanded stormbreaker to stop then why stormbreaker didn't follow his command

Its because when the mjonir was not there strombreaker made a connection with thor and when thor tried to ignor strombreaker to try to control mjonir so strombreaker didn't listen to thor and also the strombreaker was stucked with gorrs shadow
i can say there is some connection between thor love and thunder and eternals not with ' eternity ' but if u look closely in eternals in thier aresenal room there is a sword like necrosword u have to watch it carefully it is only shown for like 2- 3 seconds and if u watch all captain b2 dr strange multivers of madness , thor love and thunder u can actully make a connection there is also this video of his - WAHT IF IRONMAN IS IN SPIDER MAN NO WAY HOME there is kinda of a connection to this AND DONT UNDERESTIMATE ME IAM A HUGE MARVEL FAN

Necro sword is not made from strong metals like Uru or vibranium, its like symbiote which when breaks can join again but Jane had capture some pieces of the necroswork, we are not sure that it's destroyed btw
