I really dislike companies that describe electric vehicles as CO2 free or zero emissions. There are emissions during manufacture and emissions producing the electricity required.

Depends on where you get your electricity. If, for instance, you get your power from coal, then buying a gasoline car is actually better for the climate. If you're powered by nuclear or other renewable, then electric cars are the way to go. But advertising wise, it refers to it's operation, not manufacture (don't be an officious ass). Whether it's a gas car or an electric, the CO2 cost of manufacture is about the same. This notion that "electric cars are aren't carbon neutral because CO2 is produced during manufacture" is both misleading and fallacious. They pay that balance off within a year or two of operation, so long as you're power grid is clean.

It gets it's energy from the load basically as it is transporting goods down the from the mountain. During this operation it uses regenerative braking which in turn charges the batteries. During the decent it will charge the batteries more than it uses on the way back up since it is empty. So basically during this operation and this setup it will be self sufficient with electricity.
