If our universe is infinite than it could take millions of years for a super intelligent civilization to even notice our existence (the carbon in the atmosphere from industrialization) and the speed of light might be preventing us from spotting newer civilizations that have given off techno signatures, but their light hasn't even had the time to come up in our primative telescopes. To put that into perspective, if a developing civilization 999,999 light-years away is just getting started, we wouldn't even be able to get signals from them or know they existed until that light hit our telescopes 999999 years later. By that time they might have already died off from the great filter and we wouldn't even know what hit them. Also there's lots of false alarms so it wouldn't be confirmed immediately.

Just watched the entire ancient aliens series every episode, twice! This is some entry level stuff

You guys should make a thread one day and do all alien related theories and topics. This was so interesting to watch.

There’s a conspiracy theory that people came from another planet, and keep moving onto the next after they’ve destroyed that one. The last planet they’ve destroyed was mars, that’s why there used to be water on the surface. Relative to the rest of nature, humans seem to resemble a prolific, invasive species, with traits giving humanity a strong advantage over other fauna of our time. The modern human has appeared to have evolved rather rapidly as well. At the very least, it wouldn’t be terribly surprising if humans were an interstellar species from thousands of years ago.

The Sumerian texts say exactly this. The annunaki created us to mine gold but as is said in the video the whole civilisation doesn't agree. Some were more inclined to give humans greater freedom and that led to a war which destroyed most of their traces.

This honestly makes complete sense to me. If you've ever seen a fetus as it turns into a human, there's a stage where it looks EXACTLY how people describe aliens. I don't know why this theory isn't more looked into

It's something I've always considered. When scientists claim things such as soups that life came from or even a big bang (where did it all come from..) you soon realise that they're actually guessing and anything could be our origins.

quite something to think about

There’s a *lot* of stuff about us, our illnesses and genetic disorders, what direct sunlight does to us, our diet and what it does to us even when eating healthy, and much more that does indicate we are outside of our natural environment. I believe we originate from Antarctica, probably while it was mostly covered in ice but not quite completely and the pressure to escape evolved our brains to think of a solution (boats). The lighting there would probably fit with how our eyes and skin react to sunlight and lower direct lighting would affect the food we had available.

A theory I was told many decades ago was. Our Ancestors were from Mars at the time Mars started losing its gravity to hold a decent atmosphere . We were brought to Earth by a group of beings called the greys. 🤔 however long ago Mars lost it's atmosphere is when Supposedly Humanity on Earth begins.

This is what I have thought of before, fruit flies and other life forms live their entire lives in a day. So what if our entire universe is just a small molecule in a being in their universe and although to us our universe is 15 billion years old, but to whatever we are a molecule in their time it has only been a short time like maybe a year or less in their time.

Humans aren't aliens or alien human hybrids but humanity actually has a little bit of Neanderthal DNA. You guys actually have no proof of aliens being in our DNA. Before you say " humans weren't adanced enough to create the pyramids and the Mayan temples it has to be aliens" you are basically undermining the intelligence of ancient humans and what they have accomplished. Even if aliens were real they wouldn't put their DNA in ancient primates. In reality if there was a humanoid spacefaring lifeform it would probably be a human descendant that has figured out time travel.

Second of all, if they're intelligent and capable enough to traverse space (and not to mention, possible seed planets with not only life, but intelligent life), how simple minded are we to still project ourselves onto them as if we're equal with them orthem to us? Who's to say they haven't done this before? Humans are our own worst enemy. We hold ourselves back with the way we simply think.

This just kicks the can down the road though. If life here begins from life elsewhere somehow getting here, then how did THAT life get started?

I been saying this, we stick out so much from the rest of earth's organisms.

@@berendharmsen yea I definitely dont dismiss that fact, this is more of a philosophical thought process but it's so weird how we are super smart comparatively, hairless, bipedal, with advanced consciousness. Our structured society and the tools we use. Just for thought, what if there was another advanced earth species that we lived alongside? We barely get along with eachother so I dont think itd work out but its definitely interesting.

One thing i will mentjon js how in space our spines become smaller and in our first recorded ancestors we notice how small and short they are byt with i think thick spines or neck areas. As time goes on i think the spine decompresses back to normal height or slightly shorter. Its kinda similar to how humans became taller basically the gene was still there and was passed down hence why more and more generation are taller.

The real Aliens were the friends we made along the way.

Aliens are asexual they can't mate they can manipulate DNA through experiments and test tubes.

I subscribe to the theory that we got hit with a large planet early in Earth's history. It is widely believed that it caused the creation of the moon and that the planet or more likely smaller planetoid contained a crucial building block for life. It may have even contained life. Some believe it had water and early fish. This is not contrary to the seed theory.

There was panspermia in a video game made by Electronic Arts called Spore, when you started the cell stage.

We are not aliens to us we are aliens to creatures we call aliens if we went to there planet we would be strange and aliens to them

History channel at 3 Am : look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power.

I doubt if there were ancient aliens that they’d be visiting earth too frequently since the way biology adapts to different terrestrial atmospheres. An intelligent life form that comes from a smaller planet, or even from space would not likely be physically able to survive in a planet with more gravity. There’s a lot of different factors here but it basically sums up that “partying it up on Earth” is not really a comfortable phrase when it would likely be constantly challenging your physiology and overall just not being a comfortable experience for an alien species that’s not native here

It's been consistent w most guesses (ever) that life on Earth is too well designed to be an accident.
