I was literally down the street that night when that shooting occurred. The weird word in the streets was that night Puff bussed 1st and Shyne took the gun charge, but he wasn't the shooter. And that's where it gets weird. Shyne does 10, Puffy changed his name, Bad Boy fell apart, and surprisingly J-Ho, who was still legally married to Affleck, was in and out of beds and in between celebrity legs, so much that Puffy attacked a Coach with a kettlebell. It might be an unpopular opinion, but Shyne’s debut album is underrated and an excellent gangsta rap album. The beats are crazy, his rapping style is crazy (and far from a “Dollar Store Biggie”), and it’s an excellent debut overall. It’s a shame he came out of prison with that bizarre, terrible style. That said, ten years is a long time, let alone if spent in prison.
