The two co-defendant’s parents complaining like they were victims of injustice is hilarious. They are the ones who gunned an innocent man down, they deserve to fry. The only thing I think should have been done differently is Cameron should have fried to. But for the parents to try and blame him for their son’s actions is mind numbingly stupid, they need to accept that they just failed as parents.
@SpiritStoneWarrior94-yx3gs

Not just that, but the other guy saying "he got bailed out, and just left his black friends alone to fry" acting like Tyrell was the one who actually had multiple millions and could actually say to his parents who had the money "bail out my friends". People are overlooking the fact that in California adults over 18 are allowed to bail out and juveniles are not. that's why Cameron was allowed to bail out and since he was not the shooter he was able to beat the case by convincing them that he didn't know what was going to happen which is actually pretty common in California

He was a rich white boy that was bored with his life and was wanting to see what it was like to be brought up in the hood. They should have let him see what it was like, and left his ass in jail and let a public defender take his case only then he would realize what being from the hood was all about. Its not just about race in this case. Its also about having fat $tacks to get your kid outta jail and hire a fat cat lawyer. The black kids that got in trouble with Cameron probably were represented in court by public defenders who are very bad at their jobs compared to a lawyer that costs $100,000 or more. This is one of the few times where I'm like get a Karen involved at the school. The parents were in the right for being concerned about retaliation. I would be so upset if a murderer was allowed back in the school.
As an owner of multiple recording studios, I have seen these types of posers more than a few times. It's so cringe.
In LA , if you’re a juvenile and catch a murder case, longest the can lock you up for is 21, unless they charge you as an adult ( which seldom happens in LA area) Which is why gangs recruit 12 yr olds etc. and most the craziest hitters are under 18.

This just popped up on my feed. I moved to that hood in ‘92 from New Jersey with my single parent father. My grandpa was an original guy in that hood (literally the first black person to purchase his home in cash on 95th street in the 50s or 60s). I used to swim at Jesse Owens with the all black swim teams and would get picked up and dropped off there after jr guards. I recall my father once finding tagging drawings of mine when I was around 8 almost 9 and he was like “are you in a gang?!” I wasn’t but could have easily been. But I had skipped two grades by that point and got to go to “better” schools and well, I am now a dual Canadian citizen as of 2022. I know Jasmyne from my early days when I started djing in 2003. It was good to see her face. I left LA 2014 but thanks for sharing this story. I think he got caught up in the friends slash homies down with me zone. It can happen to anybody, white or black, but especially if you not from the hood it could put you in this narative like the hood got my back. I think the black homies were caught up with having a white boy in the cliques for some type prestigious entitlement thinking. Dave chapelle said it himself more or less in his stand up.. Since some blacks in south l.a. grew up with odds against them, they always look for a way out or a in to something. Both Taylor i believe his name is & the blacks from the hood learned a valuable lesson. One who's not made for this street s%%t be yourself & stay in your lane. The hood homies cant cultivate anyone white or black knowing not built for this. Look what happen, the ones who did the crimes are in jail, while the other went back to where he should of been in the first. Some people say well he didnt snitch, well he didnt have to his parents had $ to take care of him.None of this wouldnt of happen if everyone stayed in their lanes and do something productive in their lives & the neighborhoods.
He keeps implying that Terrell got off because he’s white. I’m pretty sure it had more to do with the fact that he didn’t shoot anyone and stayed in his car.
It’s wild that he was even accepted In. Matter of fact. I’m absolutely surprised that they didn’t try to rob him.

It’s funny how this whole time they hear how he’s able to afford a defense, bail, and has all these connections and still manage to bake it down to race without acknowledging the real factor they mentioned the whole time CLASS, it’s CLASS. A rich black man has more in common with a rich white man than some dude from the projects
@leileyaravencroft
2 ай бұрын
This is a problem that too many people ignore. Of course, there are cases where yes, a person’s race can be a factor but the biggest problem is absolutely about class. I know of a few cases that does show painfully that a person’s class will most likely cause severe discrimination. One such case was a white girl being straight up snatched from inside her car in front of her house. Her parents found her car with the driver side door wide open, keys in the ignition, her cell phone and purse on the passenger seat and her right shoe turned on its side by the driver side door. And when they did what ever parent will do in that situation and called the cops, the cops labeled her case a runaway. No joke. They saw everything I just described and labeled her a runaway and did nothing for a solid week. And here’s the kicker, the house she lived in can only be described as looking like a long box. When they showed footage of her parents, it was obvious that they were far from wealthy. That seventeen year old who was just about to testify about a man who assaulted her (yes, the cops knew this too) and she was obviously kidnapped, was labeled a run away. I am actually surprised they managed to solve the case, though it did take a few years because if they waited a full week to even begin a half-hearted search for her, the case could have gone ice cold and be another statistic in unsolved disappearances. (She was later found unalived). An obvious situation of how cops view the less fortunate. Oh, and in case it was forgotten: the family was white. She was blond haired, blue eyed, and was actually working a job to help her parents.

@@kemi53 yeah even when Black people did the Great Migration & moved out North & West for more opportunity, they had limited housing options bc racist slumlords were overcharging on most of the properties, making huge proportions of Black folks have to move from the projects in the South to the projects in other regions. and in some cases, the city problems that arose later were correlated with crime & violence happening in the poorer areas of those same cities, making white people from some of the cities clear out. that actually did free up a little room in some cities like in California, which is why today there are what appear to be some well-off neighborhoods, but it's just a nicer ghetto. the homes look good, but it's just bc the Black people from the ghettos finally had different housing options since the well-off people had left the city limits & moved to the suburbs. it's a heartbreaking cycle, especially the violence part

when you want for nothing, those privileges mean less and less believe it or not. its hard to comprehend for people that have always struggled and were born into lives where shootings and violence are common place. When you grow up wealthy, vacations to the beach and World Series tickets just don't feed that beast within. If this wasn't his path then hands down he catches a rape case or kills some kid from his school within 2 years. It's why people with great power almost always abuse it and do things that seem insane to us. It's not an excuse for his behavior but imagine being a scrawny white kid that is accepted into that culture to the level he was. he wasn't put on by other wanna be white kids playin gangster, he wore the colors in the daytime in the middle of the jungle and was never touched. 99/100 scenarios lead to this kid being found naked and cold somewhere near that park but for whatever reason, he beat the odds. if they never linked these guys to this case, he pulls the trigger on the next one 100%.
