@@danielafigueroa528 Well good thing I’m on a pre-law track planning to go to law school and get my PHD. Out of curiosity, why do you say it’s a scam? Isn’t it one of the top ranked honors college and after all college is what you make it.
@danielafigueroa528
3 жыл бұрын
@@banardadams8776 I think it’s a scam because you can graduate with honors without Barrett and also they have the ridiculous semester fee and the dorms and dining hall are ridiculously expensive. The organization really doesn’t do much for student in a major other than those i mentioned and the program isn’t all well known as people think. If you mention Barrett anywhere outside of AZ they have no idea what you are talking about (many friends have discovered this) so I definitely think they overhype their college. However the experience is different for each student but the majority of my friends don’t find it beneficial
Is it still a party school?
Hii, I’ve been watching your asu videos for a while now and they have been a huge help! Im planning on going to asu for the fall of 2021 as a freshman and want to major in psychology which i think you’ve mentioned that you major in. I switched my major to Psychology my last year in college and i'm super happy that I did.. I felt like I've always had an interest in psychology, and the psych classes that I started taking immediately sparked my interest. Also, the psychology professors that I've had have all been very passionate about the subject. I recommend that major.

Thank you I appreciate it! and I would say that the business school here at ASU Is good, and is becoming better each year. @diego_ram
3 жыл бұрын
This year was my first time living semi off-campus and I would say it was a pretty good experience. I say semi because I was still only like a 10 minute walk from campus which was pretty convenient. I would say the biggest benefits of living off campus is mainly the freedom that you get. I really enjoyed my own laundry appliances, and having my own kitchen was probably the best part, and you also don't have to worry about checking in with a CA or anything like that. As far as being able to make friends and be involved on campus, I don't think it makes that much of a difference whether you live on or off-campus. Either way you still have to make an effort to put yourself out there, talk to people etc. I hope this helped in someway! If you have any specific questions please let me know.
Great looking ladies as well.

@diego_ram
2 жыл бұрын
Everything around campus is pretty walkable, but I would say a bike is nice to have, especially because it is so hot. Just be aware that bike's get stolen more often than you might think (mine did), so just be safe when it comes to that. And having a car definitely can come in handy, especially if you have a job or live off campus, and if you want to explore outside of Tempe. However parking permits are really expensive, so keep that in mind as well.

I'm fairly introverted myself, and I know understand in some way how uncomfortable it may be when trying to make friends and meet new people. Sometimes it is necessary to step out of your comfort zone a bit to introduce yourself to new people, but you shouldn't worry about trying to change who you are just to make friends. If you put in the effort, and just be yourself, you will meet people naturally. Just keep in mind everyone is there trying to meet new people, and may be just as nervous as you are.
