Many people interpret the Bible differently. How can we be sure we have the right interpretation? Why read the Bible if it can be interpreted in so many different ways? This clip was excerpted from one of J. Warner’s Q and A sessions (following a conference presentation).

Great perspective! This is exactly the urgency that has been weighing on me for several years. Thank you for helping put it into words.

I love the analogy you use at the end, I'm definitely going to start using that.

Postmodernism is the reason for this arguement. The idea of individual truths. But words have meaning and are simple to follow. There is only one truth, but unlimited lies.

True we always divide over non-essential stuff. You are my top 3 apologists. I like your arguments, I like how you don't want to prove anything, but just want to give arguments.

I like your characterization that we're living in a "shots fired" culture right now.

I used to be far more dogmatic about dogma. I now am only concerned about the incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection. If someone were to agree upon those, then I would consider him/her to be a Christian.

It is our fault, the church for why evil is prevailing, blaming it on the government or Hollywood is very immature.
