Mate you need to reach out and DM Travis Boak from the AFL. He’s been doing the America sports science trips for years mate. He’s almost 40 years old and has played over 350 AFL games mostly in the midfield too. He generously gives this info to other AFL players to prolong their careers too. Give it a think mate.

Tbh the injuries are just coming from there being no wrestle or rest period in the nrl. That's all it is. Muscle fatigue. Twas next to no hammy injuries till bout 2020.

There's a reason why NFL has breaks between plays 🤷‍♂️

NFL players don't run as much as RL players. They get more rest times. Also NFL players like Travis are not on the pitch the whole time. He gets taken out of plays.

I did my hamstring twice, and played for another 8 years with no more issues. You will be right champ, just take the time to let it heal. And if you are using moulded studs, switch to screw ins.

@@bangbangzz1 yeah mate, Nathan Cleary and his magical growing head. Then you look at the guys like Leotta and Fisher Harris playing at a high pace for 80 mins while carrying all that muscle. No way Penrith are natty.

@NICK-dr6vl wonder how regular drug testing is in the NRL. I remember a couple years ago Addo-Carr put on an unnatural amount of muscle during the off-season. Reckon there's a heap of players who are on it across all teams.
