Shaq came from difficult circumstances and worked hard for everything he has achieved. Even though he could spoil his children rotten with his multi million fortune, he wants to instill in them the same values that he had to become successful.

Compliments to you shack. I love you for the person. You are the things you do, and the people you care about. And I'm also grateful and have much admiration for how your mother raised you? With that being said, I applaud her.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I give my son the moon and the stars as long as he is respectful, grades are good, and he remains a child.. great dads need more praise recognition..Shaq kids could easily never work a day in their life have a mansion paid for and nice car...but he encourages them to strive get your own become bigger than me...

You're justifying his sexism. Mothers never treat their sons this good.

It's cool he wants the best for them, but you have to let your children choose their own careers and what they like doing. A lot of parents don't know they can create resentment with their children because you're bullying them to be something they aren't or have no interest in. Love Shaq though.

Bullying is very strong word. Too serious matter to jump into others ways when you just see them on a few minutes video couple of times. Try listen to understand instead of listening to have an uninformed opinion about them. You would probably do yourself some favour. Pppppfffff!!!!

I’m gonna let the man with a MBA and a doctorate in education raise his children his way, without my input.

@@kissad.7985 Yeah no, you're right. I was over reacting...he only told his children what "daddy wants" on national television. This is what "I WANT" you to be, not what you WANT to be! As an influential parent that's that's not bullying AT ALL, they're only children! Yeh no, bullying was a bit over the top. 🙂🤡.Have a nice day.

@@AUDACITY4Uphotographer Education and awards don't make you a great parent. You are what's wrong with the world. If you think because someone has awards, their parenting is just as great...you have a lot to learn. Anyway, please don't think I'm attacking Shaq, I really do love the guy, how can you not. It's just something I noticed and decided to comment because it triggered my own personal experience. Never put on your child what YOU want them to be as a parent because you think YOUR vision for them is best. It's not. You're not letting them explore who THEY want to be.
