It really makes me feel bad how lucky I was in comparison 😳 I spent 500 coins on the Kermit Box and got his shards first try 😅 I still think this was a terrible event though, I mean 5(!) percent??

And it just so happened to be on a Wreck-It Ralph season… 😔

Vanellope's Candy Kart is awfully designed, it doesn't even look like the real one from the movie

This season was quite interesting, yet pretty bad. Horrible requirements during the Season, 2 part Golden Pass, ridiculous and unfair Kermit events, Track was certainly unfinished (This season was rushed), and everything else was just lacking. The only thing I really enjoyed about this season was the details of the track itself, and a little bit of the upgrade system. Everything else was just bull. P.S. Thank you for liking my comment about Ralph breaking the season. Was not expecting you to love it that much!

Not being able to use tokens for golden passes and the accidental multiplayer reset in mid-season killed my interest in the multiplayer mode.

the only good Thing in this season was the wreck it ralph characters finally being introduced in the game, they should have been there since the beggining.

I've always wanted a Wreck-it Ralph season in Disney Speedstorm, having felt that film was perfect for a racing video game. Well, be careful what you wish for. In the previous season (The Little Mermaid), I felt that Speedstorm had very much become pay-to-win, and I also feel that the problem seems to have gotten worse in the WiR season. This time, I had to renew the Golden Pass twice instead of once by buying Golden Pass tokens. (Originally, it was planned to have these tokens bought with eShop money instead of blue tokens, but backlash soon put a stop to that plan.) I also couldn't afford to play the challenges where I could improve the stats of the characters from Monsters, Inc., Toy Story, Lilo & Stitch. There were also a number of objectives in the story mode that I was unable to do since they required certain racers that I rarely use to be upgraded to certain levels. There were also few worthwhile special events this time around, one of which being the "It's Not Easy Being Green" event where Kermit, the season's only mid-season racer, could be unlocked. To do that, I had to spend some tokens on Oswald shards (although thanks to you, later on, I could enter a code to get more Oswald shards). The new upgrade system where upgrade coins replace upgrade shards has made upgrading certain racers both easier and harder; easier because they could work on any racer as opposed to a specific type, and harder because I went through upgrade coins like a Sega Game Gear goes through AA batteries; very quickly (which is pretty much a given considering the racers I needed to upgrade in order to do certain tasks). Sure, you could buy upgrade coins for blue tokens, but that would compromise your plans to get other things, like shards for certain characters. Finally, only two of the Wreck-it Ralph racers, Ralph and Vanellope, had actual dialogue, as Felix, King Candy, and Sergeant Calhoun were all mute. Was Gameloft unable to get Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, and Alan Tudyk to reprise their roles? Fingers crossed that the Inside Out season will be a huge improvement over the Wreck-it Ralph season, especially since it will be tying in with the Inside Out 2 movie.

Hopefully we remember this as the day that Gameloft tried to be greedy but failed horribly and got so much backlash for it

I'm xcited for inside out season, I loved unlocking Kermit, I was lucky to have the characters needed to do it though. I don't like the way they made you pay for Kermit if you didn't have them. There should be a pity system for unlocking him, Like if you buy 10 Kermit boxes your guarunteed to unlock him or something like that.

I remember that in past seasons, as a new player, it was very easy to go from level 1 to 18, you could obtain many improvement pieces in the season pass and in the chapters, even at the end of the season you had so much left over that you never managed to spend them all , later it was more difficult, since specific pieces of improvements were needed for each character that were difficult to obtain or very few were obtained, mainly to go from level 25 to 50. Quite the opposite of this season, which requires a lot of coins to go up. level and you never have too many :) In my opinion, it is not supposed to give a value to the cost of each type of pieces that are needed to level up the characters and more in relation to the amount that can be obtained both in the season and in RMJ mode.

Gotta love being among the first to watch a video only for KZread to cut out all audio from it Honestly, with Tournaments (and to some extent, Upgrade Coins), Gameloft is taking baby steps towards catering to new players, but with only a singular month left to go before the mobile release comes out, they had best step their game up a lot in that category. They also need to step up their game in advertisements, considering they've finally decided on a release date for mobile, especially if they want to make an additional 100,000 mobile preregistrations.

yes the upgrade tokens are a huge problem. I went from around 600k I think to now hard cutting myself off this season at 72k. you really have to hold back on upgrading past a certain level to maintain a ton of tokens. next season I will have to be conservative on who gets upgrades (only when needed to complete something)

We need a separate shop or something where we can spend our coins on characters or something like that because spending 10 or more dollars to unlock a character is madness its ludicrous

I agree 100%, and thats why I decided NOT to buy the second season pass...I couldt get the final chest with 12 Ralph shards and it sucks, but I dont want to feed the power of FOMO Gameloft is trying to abuse on.

“There’s no way the Kermit box sold well” … well seeing that you spent almost $100 on it I would argue that it did sell well. ☕️🐸

I was lucky i was able to unlock kermit and get him to level 10 because all have all of the required racers. But i didnt bother to try and get top 30% on his event because i aint gonna spend money buying his shards. 😂

You need level 40 on both ralph and calhoun for one of those challenge playlists

I agree the game has been a grind to play everything I used to be excited for turned into a grind for upgrade tokens mean while I have 40k worth of vanity tokens and nothing to spend them on but all the special events give you vanity coins , also making the game where you have to level all of the people to complete a season is maddening what if I don’t like a person but now I have to have them at level 30 to finish missions that’s not fair at all and they are stingy with upgrade tokens

The only thing I hated the most this season as a new player was the Kermit event I’m still upset I could not get him

Splitting the season pass into 2 parts was a bad choice in my opinion, especially the way they laid the characters out. Part 2 was basically unlock 1 character for 10 bucks.

Honestly this game got really bad this season and God I hope they revert these changes. But it definitely feels like Gameloft is already on auto pilot for the game. Honestly they're known for doing this to their games.

Looking back at the previous seasons, season 5 & 6 were in contention for the worst season, but at least S5 had a good first half, and S6 was mainly boring with how long it lasted. Season 7 takes the cake for the worst unfortunately :(

The Golden Pass changes, the voice acting, AND the Kermit event was all bad. Hopefully season eight will be better.

I don’t mind missing out on characters. I just don’t get to complete different things.

I waited so long for this season, these characters are such a no brainer for a Disney racing game, but wow the season really soured it. For me the biggest criticism is just all the events and season tour objectives locked behind specific characters. I am SO tired of grinding characters that I don't like and saving what little upgrade coins I have available for them just so I can complete a dumb season tour objective. It just isn't fun anymore, I finally just let go and accepted that I would not be completing the season tour or probably even getting enough objectives unlocked to get whatever character shards are locked at the end behind the 120 one. Character specific locks just negatively compound the amount of fun you can have as the seasons go on. More and more characters come out and it's literally impossible to unlock and upgrade them all, and inevitably one of the ones you didn't invest in is required for an event in the future.

The only thing I don't like about the season being 2 parts is we can see what's coming in part 1 the requirements no less but part 2 we had no idea what was coming because you couldn't view part 2

I don't mind the tournament mode too much 🤔 i just wish vault pass is 5$ not 10$

They really need to make ranked be offline were you can play against ai because it’s really sad how much people cheat at ranked they got give enough blue or purple coins if you do the math it becomes less in less worth especially knowing every season they reset you then you have to do it all over in over again

I'm a new player, started season 7 part 2 as a free to play and i wasn't able to complete almost nothing without the golden pass. But i feel like as soon as i got the golden, everything was smooth. And Reck it ralph is my favorite theme so i think this helps. Looking to those old upgrade system, i feel like the new upgrade system is so much understandable, as a new player it was pretty easy and i'm loving to play the game.

They aren't changing everything that needs to be changed, but we are getting more rewards in ranked, plus a new mode and a lot of stuff to improve actual gameplay, not necessarily progression

Think they are using the tournaments instead of limited events?

I only got the Vanellope golden pass because her playstyle suits me more than Calhoun's. If you bought both, does that mean your Felix would have the most shards? I could have sworn they said replaying the tournaments after completion would allow you to get some upgrade coins. Is this only if you bought the vault pass, because I tried this a few times & didn't get any upgrade coins.

Do we lose any progress with the tournament vault if in the middle of getting all trophies once this season ends? I’ve paid for all 3 vault passes and would hate them to just remove any progress upon starting a new season?

Thanks since I wasn’t sure if I missed it in like a pit stop before this season started or not. There changing so much so soon and so fast you don’t know what’s staying and what’s leaving.

i stopped play at this season bcs of the golden pass and i dont even think it will be changed ...in season 8 but if will be ..i might get back if they allow me to get Ralph ..and Calhun and kermit ...

I will edmit this is a bad season it was still my favorite theme so I am a little biyas. Though I am a season 1 player i did not like what they did with the game

I skip the racer unlock cutscenes if the racer doesn't have voicelines now

I think 🤔 the volt pass should be around $5. I not mind the Tournament’s but what I mind is why should we pay 💰 ($8 for a volt pass). If you are a new player and want all 3 that is about $24 plus the season pass that is around ($45) every season

Yes, season 7 was the worst season so far. All those bad changes removed the fun of playing the game and what's worse, have completely make me loose faith on future changes. I think that we haven't heard the pitstop for season 8 yet because they are trying to hide as long as possible whatever horrible changes they are going to bring next.

For me racers shouldn't be leveled up. They should just be unlockble with earnble currency (and this one could be bought as well)... That would make the game fair...

They managed to ruin the only season i was actually excited for

It just seems as if the game gets worse and worse with each season. It sucks that there really hasn't been any reason for me to come back to the game. But I'm at least gonna keep watching these videos, just in case. Though as of now, I don't think this game is gonna get much better.

It's the weakest season in terms of expectations. It's disappointing because it involves Wreck it Ralph, one of the more newer films and films franchises from the 2010s decade are what I'm more interested in for Disney Speedstorm. Hopefully Season 8 Inside Out is a lot better.

I agree with your opinion but there's lot more decent and lacks of golden pass, vault pass, kermit events, etc, season 7 was more like very worst season than S5 or S6, GL please don't make any more trouble for all players in disney speedstorm
